Abstract

This study aims to develop an information technology-based English curriculum in response to the increasing demand for language learning in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative research method, which involves acknowledging the literature and opinions of experts in the fields of language teaching and technology integration. The findings of this study reveal that the development of an information technology-based English curriculum can improve students' language learning outcomes by providing interesting and interactive learning materials and activities. In addition, this study also found that the incorporation of technology in language teaching can increase learner autonomy, collaborative learning, and authentic use of language.

Abstract

The phenomenon of information overload in the digital era places librarians as information facilitators who must have superior social skills.This research aims to explore the role of librarians' social skills in facing the information society and the challenges that come with it. Social skills such as interpersonal communication, empathy, cooperation, and emotional management are important foundations for creating responsive library services. The research method uses a literature approach by analyzing related literature. The results showed that librarians are not only information providers but also as agents of change. Agent of change that supports information literacy and the wise use of information. In facing the challenges of information overload, librarians must identify community’s information needs, utilize digital technology, and develop the community’s information needs, utilize digital technology, and develop relevant innovative programs. In addition, the development of social skills such as empathy, lobbying, and negotiation skills is needed to build good relationships with the community and stakeholders. This research confirms the importance of librarians' social skills as a core element in library services. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations for library institutions to design more effective social skills training.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of accounting information usage and environmental uncertainty on the business success of SMEs in Medan City. The research employs a quantitative method with a t-test approach to test the hypotheses. The results indicate that accounting information usage does not have a significant impact on business success, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.805 (>0.05), leading to the rejection of the first hypothesis (H1). Conversely, environmental uncertainty has a positive and significant effect on SME business success, with a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05), confirming the acceptance of the second hypothesis (H1). These findings suggest that in uncertain environments, SMEs in Medan City need more flexible adaptation strategies to sustain and enhance their business success. Additionally, although accounting information is an essential factor in business management, this study's results indicate that its usage does not directly impact SME success in Medan City. Therefore, a more comprehensive approach to implementing accounting information is needed to provide more tangible benefits for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Abstract

The web-based Accounting Information System (SIA) is an effective solution in improving the efficiency of recording and managing company finances. This research aims to design and develop a web-based SIA using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with the Laravel 8 framework. This system is designed to make it easier to record financial transactions and prepare reports automatically and accurately. The result of this study is a system that is able to produce various financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, capital changes, sales reports, and purchase reports. In addition, this system is also equipped with an automatic sales invoice creation feature after a transaction is made. The system was tested using the black box testing method, which showed that all functions were running according to the user's needs. With the implementation of this system, the financial recording process becomes more efficient, accurate, and accessible. This system can help companies make better financial decisions and improve compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Abstract

Technological advancements are causing humans to produce several inventions and developments to accomplish anything. Which one utilizes internet technology to obtain information as quickly and simply as possible? For example, if someone moves to a new area for work or school, they will need boarding houses. However, this information is difficult to obtain because it is traditionally passed down from person to person, and the boarding house owner finds it difficult to promote his boarding house. As a result, individuals require a computerized system to resolve this issue. This study aims to create a database design for a boarding home information system. This study employs the DBLC (Database Life Cycle) technique, which illustrates the life cycle of a database that may be developed at any time. Database design is separated into three parts: conceptual, logical, and physical database design.

Definier is a product brand that is engaged in accessories. The development of this store is quite fast because in 2020 there have been many orders from outside the city/district. This is because many customers spread information about the existence of this store and the quality of the goods sold. The research supported by this paper aims to help Definier have or have an overview of a Website that will support promotion and marketing in the world of the digital era. The problems faced According to this definition, a better marketing system is needed so that enthusiasts who come from outside the city can purchase goods without difficulty due to long distances. Therefore, the researcher created a web-based product marketing information system that serves to help store marketing become wider. The analytical method used is the pieces method by obtaining more specific issues in making this product marketing information system customers from outside the city. helped to make purchase transactions, where all information about the store is the address, contact of the store, and a list of goods sold along with pictures of the goods. This website is made using the windows operating system using the php web hosting platform and using the mysql database. The conclusion of this research is the implementation of a Web-Based Marketing Information System at the Definier store, which is to facilitate wider product marketing, with a modern appearance and a good user interface and easy to use by the public. this Definier store will be even better in the future and also help facilitate the marketing of the Definier store.

Abstract

The act of sharing cybersecurity information plays a proactive and collaborative role in bolstering organizational security through the exchange of data using a centralized repository service. However, the real-world application of centralized services comes with certain risks. It leaves organizations vulnerable to distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, leading to system failures and creating a single point of failure. Additionally, it opens the door to man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks, potentially altering or pilfering exchanged information. These threats undermine user confidence in the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their data. This study presents a secure solution, the design of a Cybersecurity Information Sharing (CyberShare) system that employs a private interplanetary file system (IPFS) network as a decentralized information storage solution. Unlike centralized storage, which relies on a single node, the CyberShare system utilizes a four-node IPFS network interconnected with swarm keys for authentication. This design enables users to store and share information securely from sender to recipient, eliminating the need for reliance on a central server and reducing the server load. An analysis of the proposed CyberShare system demonstrates its capability to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cybersecurity information. By enhancing information security, CyberShare systems empower organizations to securely share and utilize cybersecurity data.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, local governments are increasingly pursuing innovation to improve the quality of public services. This research aims to carry out digital transformation in the government of Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency, by designing and building an efficient and responsive public service information system website. Through a systems development approach, this research identifies community needs, evaluates existing service processes, and designs information technology-based solutions. The designed information system covers various aspects of community services, such as submitting correspondence, public service information, and managing population data. The use of web technology enables better accessibility for the public, increases administrative efficiency, and speeds up the handling of service requests. The application of responsive design principles and intuitive interfaces is also a focus in website development to ensure optimal user experience. The research methodology includes a community needs survey, analysis of existing service processes, and development of a website prototype. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a positive contribution to the effectiveness and efficiency of community services in Pakuhaji District, creating a local government that is more responsive and connected to the needs of its citizens. It is hoped that this digital transformation can become the basis for further development in realizing a technology-oriented government for the welfare of society.

Abstract

E-learning technologies at educational institutions like University of Raharja are essential in enabling flexible and accessible education in this period of significant digital revolution. This study examines how Information Technology Support (ITS) affects user satisfaction, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and intention to reuse concerning e-learning systems efficacy. Unlike prior Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) based studies, this research emphasizes the specific role of ITS dimensions, such as infrastructure and technical training, in non Western educational contexts. This provides unique insights for improving e-learning systems in higher education. This study assesses the reactions of 500 users of University of Raharja e-learning system using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the PLS technique. Results indicate that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are greatly increased by strong ITS, which in turn has a beneficial effect on User Satisfaction and Intention to Reuse. This study aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing the accessibility and quality of education through e-learning systems, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by emphasizing the importance of robust IT infrastructure and technical training, and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by addressing the digital divide in non Western educational settings. Additionally, ITSs SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by encouraging collaboration between educational institutions, technology providers, and policymakers to optimize e-learning outcomes. According to the study findings, ITS must be strengthened to maximize e-learning system performance, raise user happiness, and promote continuous usage.
