Abstract

Universities must carry out digital transformation in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. The application of infor-mation technology brings the hope of increasing lecturer performance and ultimately improving student quality. The use of information technology and lecturer technological competence will help achieve optimal performance. The demands of the application of information technology are thought to cause a new phenomenon known as "tech-nostress", which is the negative effects and stress triggers that arise from the use of technology in various areas of life, including the work-place. This study offers lecturer technological competence variables because they have an impact on the effectiveness of the use of infor-mation technology, so that the model built combines three important variables (use of information technology, technological competence, and technostress) to explain lecturer performance in the digital era. The study will use a quantitative survey approach to solve the prob-lem. Data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM) method to test the hypothesized relationship. The results showed that there was an influence of the use of digital technology on technostress, while digital competence had a negative influence on technostress. The technostress variable had a negative influence on lecturer performance. This study is expected to provide a better un-derstanding of how the use of information technology, technological competence, and technostress affect lecturer performance in the digi-tal era. Based on existing findings to reduce the impact of tech-nostress due to the use of digital technology, lecturers' ability to mas-ter technology must be improved. The model built can be a basis for further, more specific research, for example investigating the influ-ence of certain technologies on technostress or the moderating role of other supporting factors.

Abstract

Digital transformation is a necessity for universities to improve their competitiveness and legitimacy. This study aims to examine the effect of implementing the New Generations Academic Information System (SIAKANG) on user satisfaction at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Using an explanatory quantitative approach and SEM-PLS analysis of 379 respondents, the results of the study prove that SIAKANG has a positive and very significant effect on user satisfaction. This is indicated by a path coefficient of 0.975 and an R-square value of 0.95, which means that SIAKANG is able to explain 95% of the variation in satisfaction. This system has succeeded in improving the efficiency of academic services for students, lecturers, and educational staff. This study reinforces DeLone & McLean's Information System Success Model and provides justification for information technology investment in higher education. Strategic recommendations include strengthening governance, developing system capacity, and optimising user-oriented features.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has boosted standard of living among societies. This research tries to find the impact of manufacture growth in information technology on Indonesia’s economic growth. It is a time series analysis with data from the 1st quarter 1994 until 3th quarter 2016. Data used are GDP (Gross Domestic Products), the exchange rate rupiah over USD, and manufacture in information technology. The method of VECM is used to describe bi-directional relationship among variables, and it also enables us to pose endogenity with the exception to specific variable. Empirical results conclude that manufacture’s growth in the information technology has a significantly positive influence on Indonesia’s economic growth, both in the short-term and the long-term. Meanwhile variable exchange rate only has influence in the short term, not in the long term. This finding suggests that the improvement of information technology can boost economic growth nicely. Indonesia as a developing country, should tackle good regulation and promote innovation in this sector to face strict global competitiveness. Innovation in information technology is a high-cost project, so all requirements must be provided proportionally and put it as the top priority. By improving manufactures in information technology, many jobs can be opened; to recruit new employees. This will decrease the unemployment and poverty rates.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in formal education in Indonesia, particularly regarding trends in technology adoption, the types of technologies most commonly used, and their impact on learning effectiveness. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method based on the PRISMA guidelines, analyzing 100 articles indexed in the Scopus database. The findings indicate that ICT implementation is still predominantly concentrated at the higher education level, while early childhood and primary education remain relatively underdeveloped due to limitations in infrastructure and digital literacy. The most frequently utilized technologies include Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Most studies highlight the positive impact of ICT on improving learning outcomes, conceptual understanding, and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS), as well as enhancing student motivation and participation through interactive technologies. However, the application of ICT in the psychomotor domain remains limited. These findings suggest that ICT-based educational transformation requires stronger support through the development of teachers’ competencies, equitable infrastructure distribution, and the selection of technologies aligned with pedagogical objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of teachers’ pedagogical competence and learning facilities on students’ academic achievement, with information technology usage as a moderating variable within the framework of Social Cognitive Theory. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed. The population consisted of 125 Office Management students, with a sample of 96 selected using proportional stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and report card documentation, and analyzed using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that teachers’ pedagogical competence (β = 0.596; p < 0.001) and learning facilities (β = 0.530; p < 0.001) have positive and significant effects on academic achievement. However, information technology usage negatively moderates the relationship between pedagogical competence and achievement (β = -0.155; p = 0.002), suggesting that higher technology use may weaken the direct influence of teachers, possibly due to increased learner autonomy. These findings highlight the dual role of technology in shaping learning dynamics.

Abstract

Transformation of GP Anshor's Cadre Education MThe rapid expansion of digital technology has reshaped the communication landscape of religious organizations, requiring adaptive strategies in both da’wah practices and cadre education management. This study examines how GP Ansor, an Islamic youth organization in Indonesia, integrates digital media into its organizational practices in response to the dynamics of the information disruption era. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, documentation analysis, and digital observation of social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter/X. The findings reveal that GP Ansor has developed a multifaceted digital da’wah strategy by optimizing social media, establishing counter-narratives against radicalism through structured cyber initiatives, and implementing digital literacy programs as part of its cadre development process. Furthermore, digital learning practices have expanded beyond formal training into interactive and participatory online spaces, allowing cadres to actively engage in content production and public discourse. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including disparities in digital competencies among cadres, limitations in technological infrastructure, and the lack of systematic evaluation mechanisms. These findings highlight that digital transformation within religious organizations is not merely a technological shift but involves a reconfiguration of learning processes, organizational structures, and human resource development. The study contributes to the field of Islamic education management by offering insights into how digital-based cadre education can be designed to remain adaptive, sustainable, and aligned with the promotion of religious moderation in contemporary digital environments.anagement Strategy
