Abstract

Abstract— Information is needed by agencies, companies, organizations, institutions and the environment having no access to the system. Mail is an important means of communication for agencies. The faster the distribution of the mail the faster the information can be obtained by people or agencies. The increasing number of incoming and outgoing mail gives rise to some problems in mail management. From review of some researches, it can be said that the information management system can help handle the problem faced in mail data processing, mail filing, and mail searching. However, there are some drawbacks in the researches, among others the researches reviewed do not explain how the system works in the mail distribution, verification, signing, classification, and prioritization. This research aims to analyze and design an information system of incoming and outgoing mail management using the PIECES analysis. The advantages of the system are among others, it can help computerize data; the process of mail distribution can be real time with mail notification; the incoming mail data can be classified using the classification method; outgoing mail can be made using the SPK method and the mail signing can be made using the barcode system. Index Terms— information system design, mail, PIECES analysis.

Abstract

Batik product has spread in various regions in Indonesia. Batik companies usually have data that accumulates and accumulates without any follow-up to the data. It is also not supported by well-executed final reports. Therefore it is necessary to build a data warehouse that can be used as a source of information for Batik management related to the trend of the type of batik motif based on the category of goods and marketing area from time to time. One important process that must be done in the operation of data warehouse is the process of copying data from the operational database. Before the operational data goes into the data warehouse, ETL process (extract, transform, load) to the data is done. The process is intended to standardize the data used in the data warehouse. Meanwhile, the scheme designed for the development of data warehouse using Snowflake Schema model. The results showed that batik warehouse data has four dimension tables (Product dimension, Region dimension, Time dimension, and Customer dimension), four sub dimension tables (Category dimension, Sub_Category dimension, Pattern dimension and Gender dimension) and one Fact table, Fact Sales. The extraction process produces dimension tables (Product dimension, Region dimension, Time dimension and Customer dimension) and sub-dimensional tables (Category dimensions, Sub_Category dimensions, Pattern dimensions and Gender dimensions). All monitoring of sales data of batik products is done using cube browser. The information displayed by each dimension can be viewed in more detail with the drill down or roll up process in accordance with the hierarchy rules of each dimension field.

Abstract

Lembaga Perkreditan Desa or LPD is an institution that is present to assist and collect community finances in a village and is managed independently by desa pakraman in Bali Province. One LPD in Bali, LPD Desa Pakraman Gelgel has a very vital role in Gelgel Village and its surroundings because of its business activities that effectively help rural communities in capital assistance, deposit and credit services, and other financial services. In its development, the LPD of Desa Pakraman Gelgel has been growing rapidly and utilizing information technology services as a support for business management. The critical point of finding in IT service audits related is a problem that needs to be evaluated. Using COBIT 5 framework, the level of importance analyzed was obtained by three process domains BAI09, MEA03, and EDM03. The results showed that the level of capability of MEA03 and EDM03 reached level 4 which had met LPD expectations, but BAI09 reached level 2 which required recommendations to reach the target value of the gap. Recommendations are given to assist stakeholders or managerial in improving the achievement of the gap from the BAI09 domain regarding the management of IT service assets

Abstract

Today, the changing nature of work and organization that occurs is quite high, causing the organization to be under pressure to adapt to changing circumstances. Work becomes more dynamic, making proactive behavior seen as a critical determinant of an organization's success. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of HR practices on proactive behavior, as well as the role of mediation of work attachment to the relationship. Hypothesis testing using Generalized Structured Component Analysis model. From the test results found that the attachment of work plays a role in mediating the influence of work attachment to partial mediation behavior (Partial mediation). Limitations This study is using cross sectional data, a specific type of company and does not use data discriminately. This study uses dimensional integration to test proactive behavior that is directly influenced by HR practices and indirectly mediated by work attachment.

Abstract

The need for goods is a major commodity for individuals, groups and agencies. Goods services are one of the main factors in managing user needs regarding goods repairs for a longer use. PT. Z Bali is a part company of PT. W Bali Group is specialized in goods service. Service delivery of goods has been assisted by an information system in the form of an application called E-Ticketing Service. The importance of using applications in services needs to be reviewed for evaluating the use of the E-Ticketing Service application information system. in this study, the standard use for performance evaluation process that is COBIT 5 framework where the chosen domain is the DSS domain (Delivery, Service, and Support). COBIT 5 can help in determining the needed requirement in the audit process. Based on the evaluation of the use of the E-Ticketing Service application, the capabilities obtained are Level 2 Managed. To improve the value of capabilities can be done by giving advice in the form of recommendations to increase the usability of E-Ticketing Service application services.

Abstract

The hotel warehouse section requires a good information system that can support all warehouse operational processes so that service quality, information accuracy and control of data security can be achieved in accordance with the company's objectives in the hotel warehouse. An information system is built from a design that is based on the needs of users of information systems and an analysis of the operational conditions of the company. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to analyze and design a management information system to be able to support the operational processes of the hotel warehouse. The case study in this study is the warehouse section at the Mercure Bali Nusa Dua Hotel. The system design is described through the stages in the Waterfall method and for the analysis of the system that has been running the PIECES method is used. The conclusion of this study is that users expect management information systems to be able to support processes that currently cannot be overcome using a system that has been running and system design has been made based on user expectations, with the hope that the output of the new system can meet user needs

Abstract

Development of technology security issues is one important aspect of an information system. Data security and information governance in an enterprise has an important role in maintaining the confidentiality of data in the company and keeping the data intact. Without good data security governance it will arise various problems such as vulnerable to hacker attacks and theft of important corporate data, the identity of employees in the company prone to be stolen by using phishing websites, and loss of data caused by technical things like sudden power outages or lost internet connection . The IT Baseline Protection Manual provides an effective way of understanding needs and priorities in securing data through the process of measuring the level of maturity (Capability Level). Audit of data and information security at PT. XYZ aims to measure the level of data security process capability using domains available in the IT Baseline Protection Manual. The audit stage starts from the case study survey, the selection of the IT Baseline Manual Protection domain and the results of the questionnaire obtained as a representation of the level of maturity with the assessment standard using Maturity Level. Maturity Level value obtained from the results of data security and information security using the domain of IT Baseline Protection Manual that is equal to 2,695 of the maximum score 5. Audit results show that the maturity level of dataI security process at PT. XYZ is at Level 2 (Managed) which still needs to be improved to achieve maximum data security. Index Terms—Audit, IT Baseline Protection Manual, Maturity Level.

Abstract

National-scale building material stores that have branches in various regions certainly want the business to run smoothly. This must be supported by good sales activities at the central store and also branch stores spread in various places. However, there is no solution to collect sales data from branch shops quickly, causing a slow response to the analysis of the increasing trend in sales of goods and goods whose sales trend has dropped. This can reduce sales competitiveness in this national scale business with similar competitors. Virtual data warehouses can help collect scattered operational data, in this case sales data located at branch stores in various locations are then collected into a data warehouse that is stored in the cloud server so that it can be processed for strategic decisions. Virtual data warehouse is a data warehouse that connects operational databases regardless of where the database is located and regardless of the format, looks as if somewhere and in a consistent format. This study produces a virtual data warehouse structure that applies the kimball nine step design method so that it produces a data warehouse schema model with the star scheme. This study explains the design of a virtual data warehouse that can facilitate analysis of sales data at national scale building material stores that have branches in various places
