Abstract

Professional associations require integrated information systems to improve administrative efficiency and support digital transformation. However, the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) Bekasi City still manages membership administration, membership fee payments, organizational information dissemination, and hotel occupancy reporting through separate and predominantly manual processes, resulting in inefficient data management and delayed administrative services. This study aims to develop an integrated web-based Partnership Management Information System to streamline administrative processes and enhance organizational services. The project was governed using the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) framework for initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, while the Waterfall model guided sequential software development. Laravel was employed as the web application framework, MySQL as the database management system, Bootstrap for the user interface, and the Midtrans payment gateway for digital membership fee transactions. Functional evaluation was conducted through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the PHRI Bekasi City management board, while technical performance was evaluated using Google PageSpeed Insights. The developed system successfully integrated membership management, digital membership cards, digital payment processing, organizational information management, and hotel occupancy reporting into a single platform. UAT results showed very good scores across functionality (93%), performance (92.5%), interface (91%), and efficiency (97%), while Performance Testing indicated strong results on desktop and good results on mobile devices. These findings demonstrate that the proposed system effectively supports the digital transformation of partnership management and provides a practical reference for implementing integrated information systems in similar professional organizations.

Abstract

Land cover has an important role in modelling to spatially analyse natural phenomena that occur on the earth's surface. The identification of land cover can also be used to determine the availability of green space and the percentage of built-up land in an area. Through this information, it can help the government to formulate policies related to development planning in an area. Currently, land cover identification can be done with remote sensing technology, generally using optical imagery. However, there are obstacles when using optical imagery, namely, if the cloud cover in an area is thick enough, it will affect the accuracy of the land cover results. To anticipate this, land cover identification can be done using active or radar imagery, one of which is the Sentinel-1 GRD image. The active image is not influenced by clouds and can record information without being constrained by weather both during the day and night. Sentinel-1 GRD data contains backscattering information that can be extracted using texture analysis and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The Random Forest classifier was employed early in this study to analyze Sentinel-1 data, enabling classification using various inputs. Land cover classification from several inputs, namely, sigma, gamma, and beta from backscattering data, resulted in overall accuracy of 86.154%, 87.692%, and 86.154%.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has widened socioeconomic disparities in urban Indonesia, where studies on the interaction between demographic factors and population density are often overlooked. This leaves a gap in the holistic understanding of spatial vulnerability. This gap is pressing for Bandung, one of Indonesia's key economic hubs, where the lack of integrated, evidence-based data hampers mitigation efforts against the pandemic's impact. This research is motivated by the need to fill this gap by mapping the social vulnerability of Bandung residents to COVID-19. This study uses a multi-criteria approach (Analytical Hierarchy Process/AHP) using four main parameters: building density, population density, potential crowd locations, and demographic structure, to assess the level of social vulnerability. The analysis reveals that six districts Babakan Ciparay, Batununggal, Bojongloa Kaler, Cibeunying Kidul, Coblong, and Kiaracondong show very high social vulnerability. The study also identifies the distribution of COVID-19 cases and these social factors, particularly in densely populated and crowd-prone areas. Consequently, this study highlights the need for policy alignment to reduce social vulnerability and mitigate the impact of the pandemic in Bandung City. It also recommends increasing public awareness and strengthening health protocols to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission. These findings offer strategic direction for the government and stakeholders to develop more effective policies in dealing with future health crises.

Abstract

In the past 2 years, Phuket has experienced more frequent flash floods, resulting in significant damage to life and property for the people of Phuket. This research aimed to assess flash flood susceptibility using Geo-information technology (GIS) and logistic regression analysis in Phuket Province. The statistical results from the logistic regression analysis were subsequently processed using the geographically weighted regression method within GIS. The results of the study found that the factors with the most influence on flash flood occurrence were Topographic wetness index (TWI), Stream frequency (SF), Drainage density (DD), Infiltration number (IN), Slope, Distance to road, Mean annual precipitation, Elevation, Land use, Sediment transport index (STI), Stream power index (SPI), Distance to stream, and Geology, respectively. All these variables are shown from the exp β value coefficient, when compiled into a flash flood susceptibility map, it was found that very high flash flood susceptibility level covers an area of up to 43.40 km2 (8.04% of the total area). Most of it covers the areas along the major rivers of Phuket Island. The most obvious is the mountainous terrain with rivers flowing through it, the piedmont and intermontane plains in the northern part of Phuket, which is the Thalang District and Kathu Sub-district. The coastal plain landscape of the eastern part of Phuket Island also shows areas of very high flash flood susceptibility level scattered along major waterways in the Ko Kaew, Talat Yai, Talat Nuea, Wichit, Chalong, and Rawai sub-districts. However, the top three variables influencing flash flood occurrences in Phuket were the TWI, SF, and DD. This highlights the high susceptibility of the study area's coastal foothill regions to flash flooding, primarily due to their function as a confluence point for multiple stream branches. The findings of this research indicate that the TWI, SF, and DD are significant variables contributing to flash flood occurrences in terrains characterized by narrow coastal plains adjacent to major mountain ranges. The results of this research are to creat a flash flood risk map, intended to inform and enhance upcoming flood monitoring strategies.

Abstract

Purworejo District, which is located in Central Java, Indonesia, is prone to landslides. These are a natural hazard that often occur in mountainous areas, so landslide hazard analysis is needed to develop mitigation strategies. This paper elaborates on the use of an evidence-based statistical approach using the Information Value Model (IVM) to conduct landslide hazard mapping. The parameters of slope, aspect, elevation, rainfall, NDVI, distance from rivers, distance from the road network, and distance from faults were employed for the analysis, which was conducted based on a raster data environment, since the pixel is the most appropriate means to represent continuous data. Landslide evidence data were collected by combining secondary data and interpreting satellite imagery to identify old landslides. The IVM was successfully calculated by combining factors related to disposition to landslides and data on 19 landslide occurrences. The results helped produce a landslide susceptibility map for the northern and eastern parts of Purworejo District.
