Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: Stunting is a significant issue both globally and nationally. In Karanganyar, an area with a high stunting risk, the performance of the stunting reduction acceleration team is crucial. The information, motivation, and behavioral skill (IMB) model can help explain improvements in individual performance. This study aims to examine the relationships between information, motivation, and behavioral skills and the work performance of the stunting reduction acceleration team in Karanganyar. Methods: This quantitative research uses a cross-sectional design and includes 213 team members selected through simple random sampling in 2023. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods. Results: The findings indicate that behavioral skills (p = 0.027) show significant positive correlations with work performance. However, there is no significant correlation between information (p = 0.646) and work performance, as does motivation (p = 0.757). The overall interaction model is not significant (p = 0.677).Conclusion: In summary, behavioral skills alone show a positive relationship with performance, whereas information and motivation do not. Collectively, information, motivation, and behavioral skills do not significantly impact the performance of the stunting reduction acceleration team. To enhance team performance, it is essential to prioritize training that develops behavioral skills, alongside providing structured information and implementing motivational strategies, such as rewards and recognition, to sustain team engagement.

Abstract

Design coordination in toll road projects involves many stakeholders with high information exchange needs, potentially causing process waste such as waiting time, repeated inspections, design revisions, and information delays, which reduces coordination effectiveness and impacts design completion duration. The application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) through the Common Data Environment (CDE) is expected to enhance information integration and collaboration among stakeholders, thereby increasing design coordination effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of BIM-CDE in the design coordination process in toll road infrastructure projects through waste identification and process performance measurement. The research uses a mixed methods approach with a case study design. Data were obtained through observation, study of project documents, and semi-structured interviews. The analysis was carried out using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify Value Added (VA), Non-Value Added (NVA), and supporting activities, then evaluated using waiting time, lead time, and Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE) indicators. The results of the study identified four types of waste, namely waiting, transportation, defect, and overprocessing. The implementation of BIM-CDE was able to reduce the waiting time from 72 days to 25 days (65.28%), while the total lead time was reduced from 255 days to 134 days (47.45%). In addition, the PCE value increased from 27.45% to 31.34% indicating an improvement in process efficiency. This study was limited to one project case study so generalizations of results are still limited. Further research is suggested to test the application of BIM–CDE on different projects.

Abstract

Technological development has encouraged the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in agriculture to support smarter, more efficient, and sustainable farming systems. This study is novel in examining ICT utilization across three contrasting topographies within a single regency, and in finding that farming experience reduces — rather than increases — ICT use, while land area outweighs access-based factors such as device ownership. Purworejo Regency is a relevant area for such analysis due to its varied land characteristics. This study aimed to identify the factors influencing ICT utilization among smallholder farmers who are members of farmer groups in Purworejo Regency. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed through a survey of 87 farmers in three subdistricts representing topographical variation, namely Bener, Ngombol, and Purwodadi. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that farming experience had a negative and significant effect, while land area had a positive and significant effect on ICT utilization. Meanwhile, age, education, status in farmer groups, land status, and number of ICT devices owned had no significant effect. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on smallholder farmers in a geographically diverse agricultural area and in examining the local level determinants of ICT use. These findings provide useful insights for developing more targeted agricultural digitalization policies and extension programs.

Abstract

This study reveals listening relationship patterns in the information approval process used to improve the quality of learning dialogue, especially in science learning. A qualitative method with a case study approach was used to analyze listening relationship patterns in science learning during one semester. A total of 3 science teachers, 31 students, and two academics involved in lesson study for learning communities were selected to capture a mutual listening relationship pattern in receiving information with a natural performance and not tense when observing. Observation, documentation, and clinical interviews were used as data collection techniques. Video and audio recorders were involved as documentation tools for this study. Transcript-based lesson analysis (TBLA) was included in conducting data analysis. The listening relationship patterns analysis results in classical discussion sessions in cycles 1–3, which tend to have semi-equal listening relationship patterns. Meanwhile, the listening relationship pattern in group discussion sessions in cycles 1 to 3 tends to be the isolated listening relationship group pattern. The shift in the pattern of listening relationships in group discussion sessions is caused by several factors, including student collaboration awareness, heterogeneous composition of students, tasks, and questions that challenge students, and appropriate interruptions of teacher direction. The research results provide a reference for reflection on developing teacher professionalism to improve more effective and meaningful learning.

Abstract

This study examines how information asymmetry, financial distress, and earnings management are associated with firm value, and investigates the role of corporate governance in conditioning the market valuation of discretionary reporting behavior. The study adopts a quantitative explanatory research design using firm-level secondary data from non-financial publicly listed firms operating in manufacturing and manufacturing-related sectors in Indonesia. The final sample consists of 1,321 firm-year observations. The empirical analysis employs a path analysis approach with observed variables, enabling the simultaneous estimation of direct effects, indirect effects through earnings management, and moderating effects involving corporate governance. Model estimation is conducted using maximum likelihood techniques. The results indicate that information asymmetry and earnings management are negatively associated with firm value, while financial distress does not exhibit a significant direct effect. Earnings management does not mediate the relationships between information asymmetry or financial distress and firm value. However, corporate governance plays a significant moderating role by attenuating the negative association between earnings management and firm value. This finding suggests that the market evaluates discretionary reporting behavior conditionally, depending on governance quality. The study relies on accounting- and market-based proxies within an associative empirical framework, which limits causal interpretation. The findings nevertheless highlight the importance of incorporating governance-related conditional mechanisms when examining the economic consequences of financial reporting practices. This study contributes to the literature by positioning corporate governance as an interpretive mechanism that conditions the valuation consequences of earnings management rather than merely constraining managerial discretion. By integrating moderation and mediation structures within a unified empirical framework, the study offers a more nuanced understanding of how the market evaluates financial reporting behavior in an emerging economy context.
