Abstract

A computer is a device or machine that works regularly and can handle unwanted things and also functions as a device for processing data. The design and creation of a library information system at Cenderamata Private Middle School is an element that can influence operational tasks at the school. Information that is not fast, inaccurate and inefficient can be resolved by using this system. So that information systems are needed in libraries to support knowledge, insight and information for students and for teachers in schools in supporting the teaching and learning process in schools. In preparing this final project, the author aims to make it easier to borrow books through this computer system so that activities can run smoothly without obstacles due to lack of accuracy. With the system that the author made, problems can be overcome even though they have not reached the expected level of perfection.

Abstract

Information systems are needed in libraries to support the knowledge, understanding and information of students and teachers in schools to support teaching and learning processes in schools. This information is data that is processed in a form that is more useful and meaningful to the people who receive it. One of the things that can affect the school's operational mission is the design and creation of a web information system for the GKPI Padang Bulan Medan Private School Library. Information that is not timely, inaccurate and inefficient can be overcome by implementing this system, the library is very important to assist the implementation of data management and transactions that occur in the library. The library is an organizational entity that functions as a container for collecting, storing, managing, and managing in a structured manner various kinds of library materials. These materials are designed to be accessible and utilized by users as sources of information, references, or information research materials as well as learning and playing tools. The author aims to facilitate the process of borrowing books by utilizing a system that is run via a computer so that if you are not careful it can disrupt the normal operation of the library and can be repaired

Abstract

The library is a facility owned by educational institutions in their service efforts in the field of education. The role of the library is very important in providing scientific books for students and teachers in an effort to provide maximum service. In today's digital era, books have switched to media, which initially only consisted of sheets of paper and now in the form of digital images or writing. In the library information system, usually in recording using sheets of paper in the form of books, for example book data, borrowing data and others. By using a system that is still manual, there will be a risk of data loss and damage to the ledger, in the process of searching the data it also takes a long time. It will be easier and more practical when the information system is managed well computerized. SDLC is the method used to build a library information system at SD Negeri 01 winduaji because this method is effective and efficient in its implementation. The web-based library information system includes member masters, book masters, transactions, reports, fines and officers who later can input all data using a computerized system to make it easier for librarian. System testing carried out using blackbox testing by Mr. Adimas as the library manager at SD Negeri 01 Winduaji proves that the library information system at SD Negeri 01 Winduaji can run well with a percentage gain of 90% for its success and it is hoped that the management system created can ease the management of the library in SD Negeri 01 as in the master members, master books, transactions, reports, fines and officers at SD Negeri 01 Winduaji.

Abstract

The library at SMK Negeri 1 Atambua still employs a conventional management system for tasks such as new member registration, book inventory recording, book lending, and others. This approach is, of course, lacking in supporting convenience and transaction effectiveness between library members and staff. Therefore, there is a need for a web-based library information system that can facilitate both students and teachers in accessing the library application as a provider of information and knowledge services. In developing this system, the waterfall methodology is employed. The library information system utilizes PHP programming and the Laravel framework, with MySQL as the database. The result of this research is a web-based library information system that can assist students, teachers, and library staff in better library management and administration compared to the previous conventional system.

Abstract

The library of SMA Negeri system is still by conventionally. It causes various problems occuring frequently. First, If the notebook is lost, the borrowing data will also belose. As a result, librarians cannot find which books were students and teachers borrowed. The second case is when the students did not find the book they were looking for, they usually asked to the librarian, but mostly the librarian did not know the arrangement of the books. So, it can be spend a long time to find the book. Based on the cases described, this research proposes to create a web-based library information system with a waterfall method and End User Computing Statistics testing. The aims of this research is to helps the librarians to manage the library data and assists students and teachers in finding books and reading books in soft file form. Based on the Black-box the system functionality has been met. Based on the End User Computing Satisfaction test by system testing by asking 12 questions, the satisfaction value of each variable is greater than 4, so the level of satisfaction is "Satisfied".

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem informasi berbasis web yang digunakan dalam membantu petugas perpustakaan untuk mengelola data, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan transaksi peminjaman maupun pengembalian buku. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis implementatif pengembangan yang menerapkan metode SDLC model waterfall, dimana pola perancangan model, view dan controller digunakan pada proses perancangan dan implementasinya. Peneliti melakukan pengambilan data berupa kuesioner dan wawancara. Pada proses pengujian, dimulai dari pengujian unit, integrasi, kompatibilitas, validasi dan pengujian penerimaan pengguna. Peneliti juga melakukan pengujian efisiensi waktu dengan menyimulasikan analisis waktu terhadap model proses bisnis dari peminjaman dan pengembalian buku untuk melihat peningkatan efisiensi waktu didukung penerapan sistem. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa unit testing dengan basis path testing memberikan hasil sistem memiliki struktur sederhana sehingga mudah diterapkan, integration testing menunjukkan relasi antar model dan controller yang valid, validation testing dilakukan sebanyak 30 fitur berdasarkan kebutuhan fungsional menunjukkan hasil yang valid, compatibility testing menunjukkan aplikasi dapat berjalan di berbagai web browser dan di berbagai device mobile baik android atau iOS, pengujian penerimaan pengguna menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa segala fitur pada aplikasi diterima oleh stakeholder dan sistem informasi memiliki peningkatan efisiensi waktu sebesar 1 menit 38 detik untuk proses peminjaman buku dan 1 menit 6 detik untuk proses pengembalian buku.

Abstract

Perpustakaan pada SMK Negeri 1 Atambua masih menerapkan cara pengelolaan tradisional, termasuk dalam registrasi anggota baru, pencatatan koleksi buku, proses peminjaman, dan aspek lainnya. Pendekatan ini tidak optimal dalam memfasilitasi interaksi yang efisien antara anggota dan pegawai perpustakaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adopsi sistem pengelolaan perpustakaan berbasis website guna mempermudah akses bagi siswa dan guru dalam menggunakan layanan perpustakaan sebagai sumber informasi dan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini mengusung metode waterfall untuk mengembangkan sistem tersebut. Sistem pengelolaan perpustakaan ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework Laravel, dan database MySQL. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini berupa sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis website yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan dan manajemen perpustakaan bagi siswa, guru, dan petugas, jika dibandingkan dengan sistem konvensional sebelumnya.

Abstract

Education is the fundamental foundation in shaping human potential, and the integration of information technology has become a key factor in the development of systems. Library service information system emerges as a contemporary solution that not only enhances the administrative efficiency of libraries but also transforms educational services through the utilization of technology. In the world of education, libraries play an integral role in providing learning resources. However, limitations in library service personnel often pose challenges. Therefore, the significant role of the library service information system in improving information accessibility in the educational environment cannot be understated.With a focus on collection management, automation of lending processes, and book search capabilities, this system facilitates user access to literary resources, providing relevant and up-to-date information. The presence of the library service information system not only changes the way libraries operate but also creates a more inclusive and technology-based learning ecosystem. The implementation of the library service information system in educational institutions is not just about administrative efficiency but also about enhancing the learning experience, automating book searches, or borrowing processes. This system illustrates its contribution to achieving better and more adaptive educational services in the digital era.

Abstract

One of the key components that helps the school's teaching and learning process is the library information system. The objective of this study is to apply the Framework for the Application of Systems Techniques (FAST) approach to the design and development of an online library information system for SMP HKBP Medan. This system is expected to increase efficiency in managing book data, borrowing and returning books as well as making it easier to access information for students and school staff. The use of the FAST method in developing this system involves several stages, including feasibility studies, needs analysis, system design, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this research is a web-based library information system that is user-friendly and able to improve the performance of the HKBP Medan Junior High School library.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis desktop pada Perpustakaan SMKN 40 Jakarta menggunakan Metode Waterfall pada SDLC (System Development Lifecycle) untuk mengubah atau mengembangkan sistem. Sistem informasi perpustakaan pada Perpustakaan SMKN 40 Jakarta berbasis desktop dibuat untuk mengelola data buku, input data peminjaman, juga untuk melakukan perhitungan total denda berdasarkan jumlah keterlambatan dalam pengembalian, data yang telah dimasukkan dan dapat digunakan untuk mencetak lembar peminjaman buku. Dengan adanya sistem informasi perpustakaan dibuat dengan Netbeans dan MySQL sebagai databasenya, proses perhitungan biaya denda pengembalian dapat di lakukan secara otomatis tanpa perlu menghitung secara manual dan valid.
