Abstract

A Notary is a Public Officer authorized to make an Authentic Agreement which has other powers as regulated in UUJN or under any other Law. Authentic Agreement aims to be used as powerful or perfect evidence if there is any occurrence of a dispute between the parties or there is a lawsuit from the parties. The method used in this study was sociological juridical method with descriptive analytical research specification, while the data analysis method used qualitative analysis. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the legal protection to the Notary in conducting a call by the investigator is conducted through the process in accordance with applicable legislation. Notary's call by the investigator shall be made with the prior approval of the Notary Honorary Council. It is as regulated in Article 66 UUJN. Other forms of legal protection that can be granted to a Notary are by supervision, attaching fingerprints and legal protection provided by the Indonesian Notary Association as the sole organization of Notary in Indonesia. Constraints faced by the Notary in executing summoning by the investigator are, the calling process which requires a long process and must be through the priority of the Notary Honorary Council in advance resulting in less effective time. So the solution is to conduct a more effective investigation by doing a good cooperation between the investigators, Notaries, Notary Honorary Council, and the Indonesian Notary Association. Keywords: Legal Protection; Public Notary; Agreement; Investigator

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between information technology investment and firm’s performance among Malaysian PLCs. Design/methodology/approach: , The analysis employed panel data approach in which it relied on annual report of companies listed in Bursa Malaysia. This study covered a period between 2009 and 2012, therefore only companies listed within this stipulated period were included in the analysis. Findings: Results of the regression estimation of the dependent variables, based on random effect model shows a high significant on return of investment score. The control variables of firm size and industry did not have a statistically significant influence on the test results. However, IT investment is statistically not significant with return on asset, as there is no relationship between IT investment and ROA. Research limitations/implications: First, this study is using a limited sample data as an established large sample data set in relation to IT investment information in PLC’s is still unavailable. Secondly, this study is unable to investigate a time lag effect due to the limited information available in the annual reports. State your limitation here. Thirdly, the IT investments are divided into two asset classes, but there is several ways to characterize the ?rm’s investment allocations. Practical implications: This study substantiates the need for PLCs to increase their IT investment as the company grows. Information technology strategies need to be developed at par with company’s future direction. Originality/value: This study is one of the first empirically studies done in investigating the relationship between IT investment and firm financial performance in Malaysian PLC’s which is using the public listed companies’ secondary data. Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of social factors, task suitability, long-term consequences, conditions that facilitate the use of information technology, and the complexity of the use of information technology in rural banks in Banten Province. Design/methodology/approach: The sampling technique uses a stratified random sampling technique, which is proportionally random sampling from each group in each BPR in Banten Province. Findings: The results of the research show that partially and simultaneously social factors, Affect, suitability of tasks, long-term consequences, conditions that facilitate the use of information technology, and complexity affect the utilization of information technology. And the utilization of information technology has a significant effect and has a very strong relationship to the performance of BPR in Banten Province Research limitations/implications: The target population in this study is BPR in Banten Province, while the affordable population is 15 BPRs in Banten Province, each of which is taken as many as 10 respondents. Practical implications: User perception in viewing information technology is getting better, this is marked by a system that is then deemed to provide benefits in helping companies internally and externally. Internal includes activities in business processes such as making invoices, travel documents and others. While external factors include the company's business strategy which is assisted by information technology to win from its competitors, including to bind customers. Paper type: Research paper

Abstract

Purpose: This research aimed is to design a sociopreneurship (Social Entrepreneurship) business incubator system by integrating the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) features as a supporting tool in managing business incubator. With the sociopreneurship business incubator design is expected to help overcome social problems that occur in the community. Design/methodology/approach: This research is a qualitative research using the Human Centered Design (HCD) method. The stages in this HCD method are Hear, Create and Delivery. However, because the purpose of this study is to design, the stages that are passed are up to the Create stage. Findings: Based on the research, business incubators design were produced with 7 business fields, 5 service fields, 2 phases, namely co worker space and event space with details: 5 programs and activities in the co worker space phase and 2 programs and activities in the event space phase. Business incubator system also designed by integrating the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) features as a supporting tool in managing business incubator. Research limitations/implications: This research is limited to the design so that the 3 stages of the HCD method are used only up to the second stage, namely the Create stage. Practical implications: In this research, it seeks to accommodate the community's needs for a business field so that services and programs of business incubator can be obtained that are in accordance with the needs of the community. This study also seeks to present a business incubator that is tailored to the needs of the community so that the community does not only have economic independence but can be mutually transmitted and sustainable with other communities (sociopreneurship) and by utilizing information technology. Originality/value: In this study the researchers collected, identified and interpreted the data that had been obtained. For this purpose, a literature review and approach to the HCD method are used through interview techniques by approaching the community and analyzing their needs in order to produce an analysis of results accordingly. Abstract

Strawberry is one of the commodities of subtropical fruits growing in Indonesia. It has a high economic value, attractive appeal in a red and fresh sweet fruit. The color of a strawberry shows its maturity stages, and the strawberry maturity stages affect postharvest quality. The research aimed to design and implement a tool to approve and apply the maturity stages of strawberries using Arduino Uno and display the information on the web. The method included needs analysis and analysis of work, and the design consisted of hardware design and network design. The testing consisted of TCS3200 sensor testing, LCD testing, servo motor testing, and WEB testing. The results of this study found that when the strawberry fruit was declared mature by the TCS3200 sensor as the color detection sensor, the LCD would display the texts, and the servo would open. The system on the WEB would display the total information of the sorted strawberries.

Abstract

The role of the teacher as a learning center in transferring the learning material that is still using the lecture method and abstract will have an impact on the students' lack of activity in the teaching and learning process so that it causes to the student learning outcomes to be under of the minimum completeness criteria. It encourages the researcher to do research about the application of ICT-based learning methods on PDE subjects at SMK Muhammadiyah in Padang. This study used the pre-experimental method with the design of one group pretest-posttest and the subject used was class X TITLA as an experimental class. The data collection used the test instruments in the form of objective questions with the number of questions as many as 20 questions. The data were analyzed using classical completeness and effect size to see the magnitude of the application effect of ICT-based learning methods. Based on the result of the study, the average value of the pretest obtained was 58.83 and the average value of the posttest reached 85.17. The result showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of ICT-based methods on PDE subjects in class X TITLA SMK Muhammadiyah Padang. The calculation of the data with the effect size was obtained 2.375 with the percentage of the classical completeness of learning was 90%. Thus, the application of the ICT-based learning method was effectively applied to the class X TITLA PDE subjects at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang.
