Abstract

The function of the management accounting information system is very important in universities, as it provides input to leaders for accurate decision making. Higher education leaders must listen more and provide good work management and require an accounting system to survive amid the heavy workload of lecturers that are not balanced with balanced wages. Accounting information systems can help universities expand their reach to remote locations, acquire new forms and workflows, and possibly change teaching patterns virtually. The management accounting information system is a collection (integration) of sub-systems/components, both physical and non-physical, which are interconnected and harmoniously cooperate to process transaction data related to financial matters into financial information. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of top management support on the function of the accounting system. The unit of analysis in this research is the related sub-unit within the management of higher education institutions in South Sumatra-Indonesia. The results showed that top management support greatly influenced the function of the management accounting information system. The results of the study found that the life cycle of accounting information system development supports top management which includes planning, design, and implementation (top management support is conceptualized as the involvement and participation of top-level management of the organization in information technology/accounting information system activities on lecturer work reports, lecturer salaries and managers.

Abstract

The manifestation of regional financial autonomy can be seen in the regional financial accounting information system as a good government system characterized by increasingly low problems so that the information generated by the central government and regional governments in Indonesia is a form of quality financial reporting and effective application of accounting systems by various government agencies in Indonesia. Indonesia. This study aims to find out how the successful application of accounting information systems on financial reporting performance was produced. This study uses causality and population verification methods in this study are the district and city governments in the provinces of Papua and West Papua. The sampling technique uses a census so that all members of the population become research samples. The results of this study show empirical evidence that the successful application of accounting information systems and financial reporting performance is transparent and accountable.

Abstract

Indonesia has enormous potential for zakat, but the results of collecting zakat are still far from the existing potential. OPZ has made various ways to increase the collection of zakat funds, one of which is by implementing online zakat payments. This study aims to analyze the resistance to using online zakat payment services. The research approach is quantitative with the help of smartPLS software. This study's variables consist of information variables, which are independent variables, while the dependent variable consists of traditional barrier variables, image barriers, usage barriers, value barriers, and risk barriers. Data in this study collected using a questionnaire. The sample of this study was 100 respondents from various regions in Indonesia. The results showed that the information has a significant and negative effect on the traditional barrier variables, image barrier, usage barrier, value barrier. This means that the greater / more information provided by OPZ, the barrier in using online zakat payment services are getting smaller / less. The information variable on the risk barrier shows insignificant and negative results.

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the education sector caused schools and universities are closed. Then, teaching and learning are delivered by an online method through information and communication technology. Some issues have emerged, especially on delivering materials and the minimum requirements of online learning. The study aims to review learning methodologies and the role of information and communication technology for future learning. Heutagogy and Computational Thinking have been selected as the learning methodology for approaching digital native generation. It is no doubt that the significant role in undertaking online education is information and communication technology. Therefore, we suggested some tools to enhance learning systems, such as gamification learning, virtual labs, and social media. We also discussed new learning media using information and communication technology in education. The study's contribution is to describe technology's role in the future learning system to be used by decision-makers in implementing e-learning better.

Abstract

The rapid progress of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) makes it easier for people to communicate and get information. Information of strategic value needs to be safeguarded and stakeholders must be aware of all potential vulnerabilities in information and communication system transactions. There are several aspects that must be met in building information security in e-government. The first aspect that must be met is confidentially and privacy. The Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia is currently implementing e-government in internal business processes and public services. One of them is the use of the Correctional Database System (SDP). Data and information in SDP are confidential because one of them contains data and information on criminal offenders in Indonesia. With the use of information technology and the more information presented by the government as part of public services the greater the vulnerability to the security and confidentiality of the information system itself. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach with the application of the defense in depth model to analyze information security involving several layers of security to keep information safe. Descriptive analysis results explain that the design and development of SDPs pay attention to the basic principles of information security, namely confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. But there are vulnerabilities in information security loopholes that are very likely to occur at the layer of host defense, network defense, and physical defense.

Abstract

The use of the Health Information System raises the risk of data leakage which is mostly caused by internal health facilities. For this reason, an instrument is needed that can measure the behavior of users who are at risk for the health information system used to minimize the potential for these leaks. Develop and test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire based Human Aspect of Information Security Questionaire (HAIS-Q), Risky Security Behavior Scale (RScB), and the tendency of Internet users in Indonesia. Based on the research 4 aspects that affect the security of Health Information System, namely the use of electronic devices, access to healthinformation systems, internet behavior, and unusual events in health facilities. The questionnaire developed consisted of 27 question items was valid (r count> r table) and reliable (Alfa Chronbach value of 0.777). The developed questionnaire design can be applied to assess the risk of cyber attacks on Health Information Systemsin health facilities. Further research is needed to implement the design of the questionnaire.
