Abstract

In this article, we propose a new type of square matrix associated with an undirected graph by trading off the natural embedded symmetry in them. The proposed matrix is defined using the neighbourhood sets of the vertices,  called as neighbourhood matrix NM(G).  The proposed matrix also exhibits a  bijection between the product of the two graph matrices, namely the adjacency matrix and the graph Laplacian. Alternatively, we define this matrix by using the breadth-first search traversals from every vertex, and the subgraph induced by the first two levels in the level decomposition from that vertex. The two levels in the level decomposition of the graph give us more information about the neighbours along with the neighbours-of-neighbour of a vertex. This insight is required and is found useful in studying the impact of broadcasting on social networks, in particular, and complex networks, in general. We establish several properties of NM(G). Additionally, we also show how to reconstruct a graph G, given an  NM(G). The proposed matrix also solves many graph-theoretic problems using less time complexity in comparison to the existing algorithms.

Abstract

Problem Statement: Regardless of the significant increase in the use of digital libraries during the Covid-19 pandemic, distribution of its publications has not been mapped as a form of scientific communication. Purpose: Therefore, this research aims to describe and map the information on digital libraries during the pandemic on international publications Scopus indexed. Method: The bibliometric assessment method was used to collect data from 66 publications on the Scopus database. The writer simultaneously used search keywords such as “Digital Library,” “Electronic Library,” and “Covid-19” to determine the publications from January 2020-June 2021. Results: The result showed that 23 (34.8%) out of 66 publications had high relevance to digital libraries during the pandemic, while 74% are scientific journal articles. The country with the largest contribution is the USA, while the largest publisher with only 35% open publications is Emerald. Meanwhile, the central topics in this research map include “Pandemic”, “Covid”, “Library”, and “Services”. Conclusion: The distribution of publications as a form of academic communication has not intertwined, as indicated by the absence of linkage between each author, thereby creating a high potential for studies and publications related to this topic. In addition to increasing the digital literacy of librarians and users, the transformation to high-tech virtual and digital services also stands as an adaptation effort. Abstract

The COVID-19 crisis has forced the learning system in Indonesia from face-to-face learning to online learning. This rapid transformation presents various challenges, especially for universities in remote areas such as Papua. This study aims to explore the factors that can influence the students' learning experience. The research approach used is quantitative with an analysis model of PLS-SEM. The data were obtained using a simple random sampling technique from four universities in Merauke, with 207 respondents. Four hypotheses were accepted, and one hypothesis was rejected in this research. Online information literacy experience and online learning facility perspective were affecting online learning experience significantly. Meanwhile, the online learning facility perspective significantly affecting online information literacy experience and online learning achievement motivation. However, online learning achievement motivation has a positive correlation but does not contribute significantly to an online learning experience. This research implies that higher education institutions can focus on factors that significantly contribute to the student's learning experience to provide a positive experience and increase online learning effectiveness, especially during the COVID-19 crisis. Keywords: learning experience, online learning, PLS-SEM, COVID-19

Abstract

Abstract - The era of industrial revolution 4.0, the progress of companies to achieve their vision and mission goals, is largely determined by the role of information technology, especially banking companies such as BPR PMM, the problem is that BPR PPM has not fully realized the importance of managing a business change, in order to maintain the company's existence. To determine the maturity level of the application of information technology in a company, it is necessary to conduct a thorough evaluation. In this study, there are seventeen processes in Cobit 4.1 that are solved on an internal balanced scorecard perspective. Cobit is a framework that is very well used in measuring the effectiveness of the application of information technology, while the balanced scorecard (BSC) is a framework that is very suitable to be applied to measure or assess the performance of a company. The combination of the two frameworks can provide a clear picture of internal perspectives that can be used by company leaders in improving information technology governance. This study resulted in a conclusion that the company maturity level in terms of business change management based on Cobit 4.1 and the internal balanced scorecard perspective has an average value of 2.90 at level 3 with defined categories.
