Abstract

Purpose: One of the main objectives of the research is the BFS (Breadth-First Search) algorithm method in the search for nearby bus and travel counters using GPS found on each device used in the search process. Each smartphone produces a different coordinate point with an average distance difference of 30.2 meters to the hardware coordinate point. Each GPS embedded in the smartphone will process the data according to the location conditions of the user's point of existence. The methodology for system development is a standard process for a team of developers to connect all the steps needed in analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining information systems. Methods: The methodology becomes a guideline in system development activities in SDLC. The SDLC model used in this study is the WaterFall Model. Result: The results of this study are expected to facilitate the public in booking tickets and to find the nearest location from the bus and travel counters. Novelty: The novelty of this research is the development of GIS as a search for the location of bus and travel counters using the breadth-first search algorithm. This research can help the community find the location of the nearest bus and tourist counter in the city of Padang.

Abstract

Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) is a family that formed due to legal marriage, is able to meet the needs of the spiritual and the material that is decent, devoted to God Almighty, have a relationship that is harmonious and balanced between members and between families with the community and the environment. Every year the government to collect data on the status of a prosperous family stage where the purpose of the data collection is in the framework of development and poverty alleviation programs. Data collection process in the District Balong is still done manually so that the risk of error in determining the status of a family stage could happen. Information and analysis system of status stages of family welfare is designed to make web-based officers in the input data and determine the status of a prosperous family stages based on selected indicators of the sheet R/1/KS. Sample of data from Bulukidul village and sub-district village of Balong Ngraket 2014. Results of the system in the form of data reports the results of process steps and the results can be viewed in graphical form. Comparison chart to show the status of the highest percentage of poor welfare families stages. Instead lowest percentage shows the stages of a prosperous family able or rich.

Abstract

In the information systems field, the fit between the components of information systems is a topic that has attracted the attention of many researchers. Various concepts of the fit such as Task-Technology Fit (TTF), Fit between Individuals, Tasks, and Technology (FITT), and Human Organization Technology Fit (HOT-Fit) are proposed and studied in various studies. In those various concept, the fit is one of the keys to the successful implementation and acceptance of information systems. Through a study of relevant literature, this study proposes a model consisting of human, organization, and technology characteristics, and adds the Perceived User Technology Organization Fit (PUTOF) variable as the initiated variable that influences the intention to use. In subsequent research, this model can be tested quantitatively with case studies of the information system implementation in an organization.

Abstract

The accuracy of information is increasing rapidly as technological development. For the example, the information in determination of disaster severity. The disasters that can be determined is landslide. This determination can be conducted using the fuzzy method. One of method is neuro fuzzy. Neuro fuzzy is a combined method of two systems, fuzzy logic and artificial neural network. The accuracy of neuro fuzzy method can be increased by applying the information gain. The purpose of this study is to implement and to know the accuracy of the implementation of information gain as the selection of landslide data features. It conducted to the neuro fuzzy method in determining landslide prone areas. The distribution of training data and testing data was using 20 k-fold cross validation. The implementation of the neuro fuzzy method on landslide data was obtained an accuracy of 81.9231%. In the implementation of the neuro fuzzy method with information gain was conducted in classification process. The process will stop when the accuracy has decreased. The highest accuracy result was obtained of 88.489% by removing an attribute. So, it can be concluded the accuracy increase of 6.5659% in the implementation of the neuro fuzzy method and information gain in determination of landslide prone areas.

Abstract

The journal is known as one of the relevant serial literature that can support a researcher in doing his research. In it’s development journal has two formats that can be accessed by library users namely: printed format and digital format. Then from the number of published journals, not accompanied by the growing amount of information and knowledge that can be retrieved from these documents. The TF-IDF method is one of the fastest and most efficient text mining methods to extract useful words as the value of information from a document. This method combines two concepts of weight calculation that is the frequency of word appearance on a particular document and the inverse frequency of documents containing the word. Furthermore, data analysis of journal title is done by Naïve Bayes Classifier method. The purpose of the research is to build a website-based information retrieval system that can help to classify and define trends from Indonesian journal titles. This research produces a system that can be used to classify journal titles in Indonesian language, with system accuracy in determining the classification of 90,6% and 9,4% error rate. The highest percentage result that became the trend of title classification was decision support system category which was 24.7%.

Abstract

Researches on the implementation of information technology in Balinese culture and Hindu religion are still relatively rare, because Balinese culture is often perceived as “old fashioned” compared to information technology as something modern. In Hinduism, Yadnya ceremony is a religious ceremony when Hindus expressed gratitude to God, to fellow humans, to the resi, (priest/teacher), to the ancestors, and to Bhuta Kala. The implementation of Yadnya is usually accompanied with bebantenan (offerings) or upakara. Nowadays there are many Hindus, especially the younger generation who do not understand about bebantenan and Yadnya ceremony themselves. This is because information about bebantenan and Yadnya ceremony is relatively difficult to obtain. This paper proposes a multimedia based E-Upakara system or Bebantenan Information System that is a part of E-UpacaraYadnya System. Tree data structure is used to model the informations about data contained in bebantenan, and to illustrare the relations between bebantenan and Yadnya. The system can provide information related to the Yadnya ceremony such as the time the ceremony is held, the ceremony procedures, the bebantenan used during the ceremony, procedures of making bebantenan, videos, and pictures of banten.

Abstract

This research aims at investigating speech acts realization in asking for information in Bahasa Indonesia done by students at Widyatama University. Secondly, it seeks for the utterance patterns highly used by students in asking for information using Bahasa Indonesia. The study utilized a descriptive method. This method comprises distributing questionnaires, collecting data, classifying data, and analyzing data. The subjects in this study were fourth semester students of Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering. The results showed that speech realization patterns highly used when they ask for information via telephone to a friend is they make an opening and directly to the purpose of calling, and closing. When calling to parents, casual utterances are significantly employed.Keywords: speech acts, utterance patterns

Hopefully little by little the teacher start to accustomed to used ICT based learning to adapt with the mushroom growth of time mowdays. Interactive learning media based on ICT hopefully be able to help students in comprehend the difficult materials which complicates to be mastered by the students especially in vertebrate material. In this interactive learing media development research at vertebrate material serve the purpose of learning media for student and teacher to facilitate teacher in deliver the material, also the researcher be able to know the usage of interactive learning media based on ICT in the effectiveness of student learning. This research codunsted at 10 March 2013 until 19 Octobeer 2013 in MA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. The result of this development is produce interactive learning media product based on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) that have been made.which is had pass through testing process and revised based on suggestion and input from material expert and media expert also comment from the trial run student. Student learning activity getting off the ground from dependent class to independent class. The effectiveness of learning result and process in interactive learning media development based on ICT to increasing student achievement grade X student of MA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang getting off the ground based the data that have been obtained. Abstract

Information literacy is a fundamental aspect to ease students in encompassing the knowledge-making process as well as empowering their capacity in using and creating various information and knowledge products. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of integrating information literacy rubric with Project-Based Learning on students’ learning outcomes in Structure of Plant Development course. This quasi-experimental research used a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was the all biology department undergraduate students at the Universitas Negeri Malang in 2018/2019 academic year. The sample consisted of 120 students which were divided into two groups (control and experiment). The data gained was analyzed using one-way ANCOVA. The results showed that Project-Based Learning which was integrated with information literacy rubric had a significant impact on biology students’ learning outcomes. Based on the findings, it is suggested that educators should provide a proper strategy as an effort to support their students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the information behavior of reference librarians in meeting users' information needs at the Diponegoro University Library. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Researchers have interviewed six informants. The data analysis method used is by using thematic analysis method. The results showed that the information behavior carried out by reference librarians in meeting users' information needs at the Diponegoro University Library can be seen when reference librarians can help users meet their information needs. Information behavior carried out by reference librarians in helping users meet their information needs can be done by providing reference services at the Diponegoro University Library, knowing and meeting users' information needs. Reference librarians can also assist users in meeting their information needs by guiding users on how to search for information by the information needs of users quickly and precisely.
