Abstract

Concerns about fake news on social network sites are ascending. The aim is to deliberately create and share false or manipulated information to mislead the public, to cause harm for public figures, and/or get financial gains.  In Morocco, the rise of fake news in the COVID-19 era highlights the fight of many media institutions, including the Maghreb Agency Press, against misinformation. The content used by media and social network sites to report about the spread of the disease has put the pandemic at the forefront of people’s daily discourse. Actually, the outbreak of unfiltered information on the COVID-19 contagion seems to have sparked fear amongst the public via re-tweetable tweets, likable posts, and shared documents. For about three months, a deluge of fake news was created to target COVID-19, health stuff, society, security, and religion, among other public domains. Relying on the Maghreb Agency Press database fact-checking, the present study investigated news stories, verified by the agency as false stories, since the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country between March 11 and June 11th, 2020. The data comprise 249 stories posted, shared, and re-tweeted by people on social network sites. Overall, an increasing trend in sharing fake news on COVID-19, health, security, crime, society, and education, among other issues has been observed. The role of social media is determinant in the propagation of misinformation. Equally important, the constructed and shared content on social networking sites regarding the issue of COVID-19 needs to be carefully considered so as not to maximize public fear and panic.

If the material stock was already real-time count, the material stock recording procedure would not interfere the production process, so it could produce on time. The receipt was still manual, without the company’s identity such as logo and name of the company. Information was not real-time produced. Report service for the management was also a bit slow. Some recommendations were given, such as giving the signature/stamp on the receipt as a proof that it was the receipt that was issued by company, try to implement a simple computerized system, improve the Big Book (for writing the stock), separate the book for material stock and finished good stock at office and at the factory.

Abstract

Beauty salons and barber shop are a necessity for almost everyone. Nowadays, the business processes of them mostly still use conventional methods. The method gives obstacles to customers who have a lot of activities, for example, they have to come directly to the beauty salon or barber shop to take the queue. In addition, it is hard to promote, communicate and assess without E-CRM media. The location is also difficult to find because there is no guide mark on Google Maps. The Geographic Information System for Booking Beauty Salon and Barber Shop provides solutions for making scheduled bookings and transactions by using the e-CRM approach as in the application of promotional features to attract customers. There are some features offered in the application, such as chat features for communication, rating and review features to assess the services obtained, and route feature as a solution to show the location of selected vendors. The implementation process requires an Android smartphone and a computer device with software including Android Studio, SQLYog, XAMPP, and Visual Studio Code. The results of the implementation of the system based on the questionnaire showed 25.8% answered 'excellent', 45.7% answered 'good', 28.3% answered 'enough', and 0.2% answered 'bad'.
