Abstract

This research was aimed to develop the appropriate reading materials for the eleventh grade students of Information Technology Program of SMK Gajah Mada Medan. Due to the result in the form of a product, this study was categorized as Research and Development (R & D) study which adapted from Borg and Gall (1989) theory with some modifications. The subject of this study was the eleventh grade students of Information Technology Program of SMK Gajah Mada Medan. In conducting this research, the procedures were gathering the data and information, conducting the need analysis, designing the first draft of materials, validating by the experts, revising the materials, and producing the final product. The instruments of collecting data were the combination of two strategies; interview and questionnaires. The interview result was analyzed as qualitative data and the questionnaires analyzed as quantitative data. These data were needs of students covering target needs and learning needs. This study developed reading materials which only focused on procedure text taught in the even semester. These materials were based on Curriculum 2013.

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar merupakan titik awal seorang anak menuntut ilmu. Berbagai macam mata pelajaran diajarkan di sekolah dasar seperti PAI, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS), Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA), Matematika, Bahasa Inggris, Bahasa Daerah dan muatan lokal  lainnya seperti Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Pengenalan ICT sangat dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran komputer di sekolah dasar. Pada tingkat sekolah dasar biasanya pengenalan ICT lebih cenderung ke arah kemampuan menggunakan komputer dan internet daripada media yang lain. Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Karsamenak Kota Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari tanggal 15 September 2018 sampai dengan 15 Nopember 2018. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 9 orang guru SD Negeri Karsamenak Kota Tasikmalaya. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi dan catatan data lapangan, wawancara, hasil tes  dan catatan hasil refleksi/diskusi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dan mitra peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa Kompetensi pedagogik dapat ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan media ICT. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan yang dilakukan selama 3 siklus, dimana pada ke 3 siklus tersebut kemampuan guru dalam penguasaan media pembelajaran dan kegiatan pembelajaran terus meningkat. Aspek pemahaman terhadap ICT, sikap kooperatif guru selama kegiatan, aplikasi dan partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada kompetensi pedagogik guru menunjukkan hasil  peningkatan. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru, ICT.

Abstract

This study is aimed to find out whether students pay more attention to picture, get information from picture and understanding the content of the text. It was conducted by using descriptive quantitative research. The source of the data was taken from the textbook entitled English in Focus published by Nur Ilmu, Yudhistira and students’ grade VIII of SMPN 3 Percut Sei Tuan. There are 9 classes of grade VIII which consists of 325 students, and VIII-1 was taken as the sample of this research. The data of this study were obtained from the students’ score of reading test. Based on the result of data analysis, it was found that the competence in predicting information through picture is very good. From 38 sample students, there were 21 students (55,3%) got very good score or can predict more than 5 details of information from the text, 15 students (39.5%) got good score or can predict less than 5 details of information from the text and only 2 students (5.2%) got bad score or predict less than 2 information. As well as their reading comprehension of the text with mean score 82.37 which is higher than the Minimal Completeness Criteria (KKM) of reading applied by SMPN 3 Percut Sei Tuan. It can be concluded that The result of this research is appropriate to the theory which claim that pictures are useful for getting students to predict what is coming next in a lesson and help the students comprehend the text easily.

Abstract

Perkawinan anak merupakan bentuk pelanggaran hak anak untuk tumbuh dan berkembang Perkawinan anak mendorong terciptanya kondisi tidak terpenuhinya hak dasar untuk mendapatkan perlindungan dari kekerasan dan diskriminasi, hak sipil, hak kesehatan, hak sosial dan hak pendidikan. Kehamilan pada usia anak berisiko meningkatkan kematian ibu serta kematian bayi Angka rata-rata nasional proporsi perempuan usia 20-24 tahun 2018 yang berstatus kawin pada usia kurang dari 18 tahun sebanyak 10,2%.. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan komunikasi, informasi dan edukasi untuk meningkatkan self awareness tentang pendewasaan usia perkawinan di lingkungan pondok pesantren hidayatul Mubtadiat kabupaten Mojokerto . Pada kegiatan ini didapatkan self awareness santri sebelum diberikan komunikasi, informasi dan edukasi mempuyai nilai rata-rata 57,8 dan setelah diberikan komunikasi, informasi dan edukasi mempunyai self awareness nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 66,2. Komunikasi, informasi dan edukasi tentang pendewasaan usia perkawinan ini perlu dilanjutkan dan disebarluaskan pada generasi muda agar dapat menurubkan angka perkawinan anak dan mencegah angka kematian Ibu dan Bayi di Indonesia

Abstract

Competence of Vocational High School (VHS) students can be qualified, if students have competence in accordance with industry needs. The synchronization of the curriculum with the industry is absolutely necessary, so the school is not left behind by the development of the business world and the industrial world. The development of learning model should always be updated or done curriculum innovation, so that schools can synergize with DUDI. This study aims to (1) to know the implementation of the Device Network Application Initiative learning model, (2) to know the advantages and disadvantages of applying the Device Network Application Initiative learning model, (3) to know the effectiveness of the learning model of the Device Network Application Initiative for the Department of Technology and Information. The learning model of the Device Network Application Initiative (DNA Initiative) (the DNA curriculum) is the application of industrial curriculum to VHS education. Model innovation. The business world and the industrial world (dunia usaha dunia industry/DUDI) are more confident with students who get their learning materials of industry standard. This study uses a qualitative method. The research was conducted by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. Secondary data in the form of documentation is used to support the research. Focus Group Discussion by presenting DUDI, curriculum experts, industrial class managers, user / user graduates, teachers and testimonials, concluded that the implementation of the Device Network Application Initiative learning model for vocational students is very effective andappropriate. The contribution to schools is the implementation of process concept that schools are industrial environments or industrial replicas.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of parental guidance, peer group, school promotion, and career information on course preference decision. This study applied a mixed-method with quantitative (multiple regression) followed by the qualitative stage. The quantitative analysis technique is done by a regression test and continued with qualitative. The results showed that partially and simultaneously, the variables of parental guidance, peer groups, school promotion, and career information affected the decision making in choosing the competency of students of SMK Muhammadiyah in Bantul. Career information factors of 12.98% most influence students' decision making in choosing expertise competencies. School promotion contributed 8.20% of the decision. The peer factor contributes to 4.78% of the students’ choices. The last of these factors was parental guidance, which provided 4.43%.

Abstract

Research by developing an information system is a research that aims to produce and develop an information service system design in the form of website-based rooms lending using PHP as a programming language and MySQL as a database that will be used at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University in-room management as room loan, room loan schedule, room loan data, and room information. This study uses the waterfall development model, with 5 (five) stages of development including the stages of communication, planning, modelling, construction and deployment. This research used Alpha and Beta testing to 3 (three) media experts and 31 (thirty-one) users including 1 (one) admin and 30 (thirty) students. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and dissemination of research instruments. With data analysis in the form of a feasibility test using a Likert scale instrument of 4 (four) assessment scores to media experts and respondents. The final product produced is a website for rooms loaning information system, by average score by media experts (Alpha Testing) of 71.6 with the "very feasible" category. The results of the feasibility test by users (Beta Testing) were 34.32 with the "very feasible" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the website-based room loan information system is very feasible to use.

Abstract

Sentiment analisis adalah proses penggunaan text analytics untuk mendapatkan berbagai sumber data dari internet dan beragam platform media sosial fokus utamanya adalah menganalisa dokumen teks untuk memperoleh opini dari pengguna yang terdapat pada beragam platform media sosial. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis sentiment postingan opini masyarakat terhadap pelayanan unit gawat darurat rumah sakit umum di Indonesia pada twitter yang nantinya menghasilkan informasi opini sentimen masyarakat berupa sentimen positif, negatif dan netral. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan seleksi fitur menggunakan Information Gain dan Support Vector Machine sebagai algoritma klasifikasi text untuk mengklasifikasi sentiment opini masyarakat pada tweet twitter. Pada penelitian ini menunjukan nilai Prediksi yang diapat dari hasil Implementasi metode Support Vector Machine dengan menggunakan Seleksi Fitur Information gain adalah AUC 0.993, CA 0.980, F1 0.980, Precision 0.981 dan Recall 0.980. Kata kunci: Seleksi fitur, Information gain, SVM, Analisis sentiment, Unit gawat darurat, twitter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengukur kesuksesan dari implementasi sistem informasi Sumber Daya Manusia (HRIS) menggunakan SAP (system application product and data processing) pada industri otomotif Sunter, Jakarta Utara. Produk HRIS SAP sangat popular dikalangan industri otomotif dan tentunya aplikasi tersebut membuat kinerja perusahaan menjadi lebih baik. Survei di sebar di beberapa titik yakni di PT AH, PT M8 dan PT SAR. Selain itu penelitian ini menggunakan mix method dimana terbagi atas analisis kuantitatif (statistic dekskriptif) dan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam pada user, key user dan super user agar data yang dihasilkan lebih akurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi HRIS SAP cukup berhasil dalam periode kurang lebih satu tahun implementasi. Implementasi tidak lepas dari pengaruh data yang user friendly, akurat dan terintegrasi serta pelatihan user yang selaras dengan kebutuhan perusahaan sehingga membuat project implementasi berjalan lancar. Secara keseluruhan client PT AH. PT M8 dan PT SAR merasa puas terhadap proses implementasi HRIS ini.
