Abstract

The development of information technology is currently growing rapidly, where almost all have used and developed information systems in such a way that they are able to advance and develop their business well. The existence of a good information system will produce information according to needs. Good information is information that can be presented in a timely manner, useful and reliable. One of the important information systems in an institution or agency is the Accounting Information System. Along with the increasingly rapid development, the use of computers plays an important role in various fields that support each other in aspects of life. This includes financial data and information processing systems that cannot be separated from everyday life. Because without a financial data and information processing system, activities within an organization, company or agency will not run smoothly as expected, both in terms of time and accuracy and speed of the resulting performance. This becomes an obstacle to the activities and implementation of existing activities in an organization, company or agency. Recording cash flows using books is considered less effective in terms of time and accuracy. Recording that must be done many times sometimes causes some errors so that there is often a difference between the real balance and the cash book. Abstract

Jakarta as the state capital of Indonesia faces complex problems in daily life, especially those related to high population density, urbanization, traffic congestion, natural disasters, and severe environmental conditions. These problems are becoming justifications for the need to move the country's capital to East Kalimantan as decided by the government. East Kalimantan was chosen as the new capital, based on the results of intensive studies, having very minimal disaster reserves such as floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, forest fires and landslides. East Kalimantan is also considered to have a strategic location. If drawn coordinates, its location is in the middle of Indonesian territory, and is near urban areas. Dissemination of information about those planning is done through various communication networks, including on social media. This study aims to identify the dominant actors in communication networks on Twitter with the hashtag #IbuKotaBaru during the periods of August 1 to September 22, 2019. The study was conducted using quantitative approach by employing GEPHI tools. The results revealed that in the #IbuKotaBaru communication network, there were three dominant actors who actively disseminate the relevant information namely detikfinance, yulionta and derupiston. The most popular actor was detikfinance. There are 63.33% of actors who have a high closeness with other actors, there are no actor who mediate with other actors in communication. Yulionta and Derupiston are the two most important actors in disseminating information about the move to new country’s capital in the #IbuKotaBaru communication network as indicated by its highest values of Eigenvector Centrality.

Abstract

Traveloka is one of the online agents for booking airline tickets, hotels, trains, and several other online services. Traveloka is one of the Unicorns from 4 startup businesses in Indonesia. Unicorn is a term for startups worth over the US $ 1 billion or equivalent to Rp. 13.5 trillion. Traveloka is an organization that applies advanced organizational communication; in structural and transitional theory, the structure is seen as a hierarchy, policy, and organizational design, whereas Weick views structure as an activity and, more specifically, as a communication activity. According to the concept of Weick, humans do not only run organizations; humans are these organizations. This study discusses the understanding of the meaning shared by Traveloka employees about the organization where they currently work. This shared understanding was obtained from the interaction between Traveloka employees. Convergence theory developed by Ernest G. Borman is used to find out how the process of awareness of groups or organizations is formed, developed, and survived. The research uses qualitative methods and constructivist paradigms. The results of the study show that there is a message dramatization process that forms a type of fantasy chain about Traveloka as an organization where competent people are especially in the field of Information and Technology (IT), and as an organization that is Flexible & Responsible. From the results of interviews with six informants who are Traveloka employees, the researchers obtained four points in common with their basic values as part of the Traveloka organization, which directs them to Traveloka employees as the ultimate end.

Abstract

Background: Oral candidiasis is a common opportunistic infection of the oral cavity caused by an overgrowth of the Candida species, in particular, Candida albicans. The incidence varies depending on age and certain predisposing factors. In the practice of dentistry, doctor-patient communication is an important component. Effective communication between doctor and patient is needed to convey information and educate patients so that treatment can be administered appropriately. Purpose: This case aimed to discuss the clinical appearance of acute pseudomembranous candidiasis (APC) in children and the importance of good communication, information and education of patients. Case: A five-year-old male patient came with his mother on November 6, 2020 complaining of white deposits on the mucosa of the upper and lower lips that had been present for a week. Case management: The diagnosis was defined as a typical APC lesion although the potassium hydroxide (KOH) test showed negative results. Characteristic lesions found in APC are often seen clearly in some cases and treatment can begin immediately. Patients receive the empirical therapy, Nystatin oral suspension 100.000 i.u, and the patient is instructed to maintain optimal oral hygiene care, maintain nutrient intake and book a follow-up consultation. Conclusion: Mistakes in patient preparation procedures in taking supporting examinations will result in false negative/positive results, so communication and education information regarding the preparation of supporting examinations for patients is important to note.

Abstract

On January 14, 2021, several villages in Majene Regency suffered landslides triggered by a M6.2 earthquake. The study’s aim is to use the Index Storie model approach, remote sensing data, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to map the distribution of landslide-prone areas as a mitigation basis in Majene Regency to reduce the potential for future landslide disasters. The level of landslide potential was determined based on slope conditions, soil types, rainfall, land use types, and potential earthquake risk. In general, morphological conditions in Majene Regency are dominated by slopes that are still covered in forests and receive relatively low rainfall, resulting in low landslide potential if seismic potential factors are not taken into account. Based on the results of an analysis that considers slope factors and potential seismic risks, the results of a map that illustrates the risk of landslide are quite high in several areas, are Malunda District, Ulumanda District, and Tubo Sendana District.
