Abstract

The rapid growth of publications in different fields, such as computer science, required well-structured datasets to support data-driven research. This paper presents an open large-scale dataset of computer science research papers published between 2020 and 2025, collected from Crossref metadata using the Crossref REST API. A structured keyword-based retrieval framework was developed to collect papers and their associated metadata. Preprocessing techniques, including cleaning, normalization, and validation were also made on the collected data. The introduced dataset has 4,313,328 research paper records which represents one of the largest structured collections of computer science publications for the specified period. The dataset provides comprehensive metadata fields that enable large-scale analysis, research trend identification, collaboration network exploration, and the recommendation systems development.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged local government to adopt websites as platforms for delivering public information and services. This study aims to analyze the service quality of the Sorong Regency Government website based on user perceptions using the WebQual 4.0 method, which consists of three dimensions: usability, information quality, and service interaction quality. This study adopts a quantitative approach, with data collected through an online questionnaire administered to 49 respondents. The data were analyzed using SPSS, including validity and reliability tests and descriptive statistics. The results show that all 18 questionnaire items are valid and reliable, with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.763. The mean scores for each dimension are 3.43 for usability (agree), 3.39 for information quality (somewhat agree), and 3.37 for service interaction quality (somewhat agree). These findings indicate that the overall service quality of the Sorong Regency Government website ranges from moderate to good, with usability identified as the strongest dimension. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on evaluating a local government website in a developing regional context, providing user-based evidence on WebQual 4.0 dimensions that remain underexplored in similar settings. This study provides empirical evidence that can support efforts to improve the quality of digital public services in Sorong Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an integrated Chicken–Fish–Vegetable (AISa) farming system based on a multi-modal sensor system controlled by ESP32 and Raspberry Pi. In this system, the ESP32 functions as a microcontroller responsible for reading multi-modal sensor inputs in the form of analog data, converting them into digital signals, and transmitting the data to the Raspberry Pi via a serial communication protocol. The Raspberry Pi, in turn, processes the digital sensor data and manages overall control operations within the AISa farming system. The multi-modal sensors used in this study include a camera for farm monitoring, a water level sensor for detecting water height, a DHT11 sensor for air temperature and humidity, an LDR for light intensity detection, an infrared sensor for sunlight detection, a TDS sensor for measuring water nutrient levels, a pH sensor for detecting water acidity, and a DS18B20 sensor for monitoring fish pond temperature. The method applied in this study for converting analog sensor data involves utilizing the GPIO pins of the ESP32 to perform analog-to-digital conversion, while the Raspberry Pi is employed to process the AISa farming data due to its computational capabilities similar to a computer. The results indicate that the multi-modal sensor system is capable of providing comprehensive environmental information about the AISa farming conditions. The data are initially captured by the ESP32 in analog form, converted into digital data, and then transmitted to the Raspberry Pi for further processing. In addition, this study establishes a data design framework for future research involving the integration of AISa greenhouse farming systems with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of bandwidth management using a MikroTik router in optimizing network capacity distribution at Shanti Bhuana Institute. The methods employed include designing a bandwidth allocation scheme based on the priority needs of each unit, implementing the configuration on a MikroTik router, and measuring network performance parameters such as throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter before and after the implementation of bandwidth management. The testing was conducted in a campus environment involving active users from various academic and administrative units. The results show that the implementation of bandwidth management increased the average throughput from 412 kbps to 1,105 kbps, reduced the average delay from 22.4 ms to 5.2 ms, and decreased jitter from 8.7 ms to 2.1 ms. Packet loss remained below the 1% threshold both before and after implementation. All units received proportional bandwidth allocation according to their operational needs, enabling activities such as web browsing, email communication, and lecture material downloads to run without mutual interference. This study concludes that MikroTik-based bandwidth management is more effective than relying solely on high bandwidth availability, as it is capable of preventing network congestion in multi-user campus environments.

Abstract

Selecting an appropriate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method is a critical factor in the success of software development projects. However, the selection process is often conducted subjectively without in-depth analysis of project characteristics. This study aims to analyze the comparison between the pure Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and SAW combined with the similarity method in a decision support system for SDLC method selection. The study utilized 14 SDLC method alternatives and 9 evaluation criteria, including estimated project duration, risk level, system complexity, budget, team size, team experience level, user involvement, changing requirements, and documentation needs. The calculation results show that the pure SAW method recommended DevOps with a score of 84.07%, while the SAW method combined with similarity recommended Test-Driven Development (TDD) with a score of 99.63%, representing an increase of 15.56 percentage points. Ranking changes occurred in 13 out of the 14 methods evaluated, with 7 methods experiencing rank increases and 6 methods experiencing rank decreases. The similarity-based approach proved to generate recommendations that are more aligned with project characteristics because it considers the level of similarity between the project profile and the characteristics of each SDLC method.

Abstract

The use of Large Language Models (LLMs) for generating programming code has become increasingly widespread; however, the quality of the generated output heavily depends on the instructions or prompts provided. This study aims to evaluate the influence of prompt engineering techniques on the quality of non-functional code generated by LLMs. The research employed a quantitative experimental approach involving five Python game development tasks using four prompt variations: zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought, and role-based prompting. A total of 200 code snippets were analyzed using Static Application Security Testing (SAST) with the DeepSource tool to detect issues across seven categories: secrets, bug risk, anti-pattern, security, performance, style, and documentation. The results indicate that few-shot prompting produced the lowest total number of issues overall (1,328 out of 6,932 issues), demonstrating particular advantages in the anti-pattern and performance categories. However, this technique also recorded a higher number of critical issues (3 issues) compared to zero-shot and role-based prompting (1 issue each), indicating a trade-off between the overall volume of issues and the severity of certain issues. Role-based prompting generated the highest number of issues (2,516 issues), particularly in the style and documentation categories. This study recommends few-shot prompting as a foundational approach for AI-assisted software development and highlights the importance of integrating SAST into CI/CD pipelines to ensure code security and quality.

Abstract

Advances in information technology in recent years have accelerated digital transformation across various business sectors. This development is reflected in the increasing use of web-based applications that demand responsive, stable, and reliable system performance. However, software testing processes are still often performed manually, making them less efficient due to the significant time and resources required, as well as the potential for human error, particularly when applications undergo continuous feature updates. Therefore, a more effective testing approach through automation testing is required. This study aims to analyze and compare several automation testing frameworks to determine the most suitable framework for testing web applications. The testing scenarios were designed using a Domain Specific Language (DSL) approach based on Cucumber Gherkin syntax to ensure better readability and structured test cases. The evaluation was conducted based on two main aspects: Automated Testing Performance and Tools Usability. The performance aspect included time complexity, covered test cases, execution start time, and element inspection. Meanwhile, the usability aspect covered platform compatibility, supported browsers, scripting languages, and parallel execution capabilities. The case study was conducted on the web-based logistics application muatmuat.com, focusing on the register, login, and password reset features. The data were analyzed using the Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) method with the Distance to the Ideal Alternative (DIA) approach. The results indicate that Selenium WebDriver achieved the lowest Ri value of 0.25799, followed by Cypress (0.31747), and both Playwright and WebdriverIO (0.33426), making Selenium WebDriver the most optimal framework among the evaluated alternatives.

Abstract

Flood disasters are often triggered by deforestation and land cover changes, highlighting the need for precise spatial flood susceptibility modeling. This study aims to analyze the spatiotemporal dynamics of deforestation (2021–2025) in Langsa and compare the accuracy of three flood hazard prediction models: Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA), Geomorphic Flood Index (GFI), and Machine Learning using Random Forest. The study employed a quantitative experimental approach through the cloud-computing architecture of Google Earth Engine (GEE) and offline simulation using QGIS to process multispectral Landsat 9 satellite imagery along with landscape physical data. The results indicate a reduction in vegetation cover area of 1,606.12 hectares (-11.48%), which directly contributed to the expansion of built-up areas and open land. Comparative evaluation demonstrated that the Random Forest algorithm achieved the highest flood modeling accuracy, with an Overall Accuracy of 91.17% and a Kappa Coefficient of 0.87, outperforming MCDA, which was prone to over-prediction bias, and GFI, which exhibited algorithmic blind spots in localized pluvial flood areas. Risk exposure analysis further revealed that 38.5% of current built-up infrastructure areas are located within high flood susceptibility zones due to the loss of ecological infiltration areas. The outputs of this modeling process were successfully integrated into an interactive Decision Support System (DSS) based on a WebGIS dashboard to facilitate spatial disaster mitigation dissemination for policymakers.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the user experience of the Praja Mobile application among two age groups, namely adults and elderly users, as an effort to assess the level of digital inclusion. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) instrument, which measures six main aspects: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. The study involved 40 respondents, consisting of 20 adult users and 20 elderly users. Based on the analysis results, the elderly group achieved scores of 2.00 for attractiveness, 1.88 for efficiency, 1.76 for dependability, 1.75 for stimulation, 1.82 for perspicuity, and 0.78 for novelty. Meanwhile, the adult group obtained scores of 2.30 for attractiveness, 2.30 for efficiency, 2.05 for dependability, 2.07 for stimulation, 2.03 for perspicuity, and 0.72 for novelty. The most notable difference was observed in the perspicuity aspect. This finding indicates that elderly users still experience difficulties in understanding the application’s navigation and usage flow compared to adult users. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of designing interfaces that are more elderly-friendly, particularly in improving information clarity, navigation structure, and ease of interaction. Therefore, the findings of this study contribute practical recommendations for application developers to support greater digital inclusion, enabling applications to be more accessible across different age groups.

Abstract

The low level of engagement among younger generations in learning local culture has created a need for interactive and structured cultural introduction media. This study designs and develops a prototype of an Android-based RPG adventure game featuring the Rentak Bulian Dance using a story-driven approach and quest system as a progressive structure for delivering cultural content in stages. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), integrated with the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) framework to ensure process traceability throughout the game development stages. The product implements several core components, including a story module, dialogue system, quest manager, quest log, and reward/feedback mechanisms, while formalizing missions through a quest tree structure consisting of main quests and side quests. The feasibility evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) involving 30 respondents. The results showed an average SUS score of 76.0 (SD = 5.9; min = 65.0; max = 87.5), with 93.3% of respondents classified within the acceptable category (≥70). These findings indicate that the prototype is feasible as a medium for introducing the Rentak Bulian Dance, with recommendations for improvement focusing on the clarity of mission instructions and navigation consistency. The main contribution of this study lies in the integration model between narrative and quest systems for cultural content delivery, as well as empirical evidence of usability feasibility based on SUS evaluation for an Android-based prototype.
