Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the increase of learning achievement of Islamic Education after the implementation of collaborative learning model at the fifth grade in The State Elementary School of Sukosongo, Kembangbahu – Lamongan in the academic year of  2015/2016. To obtain the necessary data, the data collected by observation and tests. The study was conducted during two cycles. Each stage of the cycle was done as planning, action, observation, reflection. The results of data analysis showed that the increase of students’ achievement with increased of learning achievement was enormous which the average learning achievement at the first cycle of 62.54 into 81.67 at the second cycle and classical mastery learning value from 33.33% to 91.67% , It could be concluded that there was an increase of learning achievement of Islamic education through collaborative learning at the fifth grade in The State Elementary School of Sukosongo, Kembangbahu – Lamongan in the academic year of  2015/2016.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve the learning achievement through Cooperative Learning with the technique of "Game". This classroom action research conducted in the first state Junior High School Kalitengah, Lamongan with the research subjects were the ninth E graders in the academic year of 2015/2016. There was three instruments minimum to collect the data that are (1) observation sheet, (2) questionare sheet, and (3) test sheet. The data from observation and questionnaire then was analyzed quantitative descriptively, it means that the description of the learning success was drawn by the increase of the average score of the class. The result showed that the students’ achievement in the first cycle (68.67), in the second cycle (74.89), in the third cycle (82.78). Thus, the implementation of cooperative learning with the technique of "game" could improve the students’ achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to (1) improve the learning achievement of mathematics and (2) get a way or method that can improve the students’ achievement in mathematics learning material about the FPB and KPK. The study was conducted using classroom action research design and was divided into two cycles. Each cycles consisted of four stages: (1) improvement plan, (2) Implementation of improvement, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The study was conducted in the first state elementary school of Sukolilo, Sukodadi, Lamongan with subject improvements was the fourth graders. The results of the study in the first cycle indicated that the students had not mastered the material primarily determines the FPB. While on the second cycle it was no longer visible, because the application of the method with LKS tasks could improve the learning achievement of mathematics. The students quickly respond, or respond to, especially for children to think fast that in working on the next task the stdudents’ abilities increased. From these results it could be concluded that the implementation of the task of LKS method could improve the forth graders’ achievement at the first state elementary school of Sukolilo on the material of FPB and KPK.

Abstract

This study aims to improve motivation, activity , and the ability to write to implement contextual learning . Strategy research is classroom action research that is carried out in three cycles and each cycle includes planning , implementation , observation , and reflection and Verification . Which is the subject of research was grade II Elementary School Lopang I Sub Kembangbahu Lamongan , while the object is learning to write a description that is included in the lesson Indonesian . The results show the stages in the application of contextual learning can improve the quality of the process and the results of learning to write the description in the second grade students of SD Negeri Lopang I Sub Kembangbahu Lamongan.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to increase the students understanding on the components of the map. The data required in this study were obtained through observation of treatment of active learning, and formative tests. This research used qualitative descriptive analysis technique that illustrates the fact or facts in accordance with the data obtained in order to determine the students’ learning outcomes achieved by students as well as to elicit the students’ responses in learning activities as well as activities of students during the learning process. The results of this research showed that the students understanding and mastery of the material that has been submitted by the teacher (the learning mastery increased from cycle I, II, and III) are respectively 67.64%, 77.35% and 91.17%. Thus, the learning method of problem solving could improve the students’ achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran peningkatan kemampuan anak dalam menceritakan kembali isi cerita sederhana dengan media gambar seri pada anak TK Dharma Wanita Sungelebak Kecamatan Karanggeneng, serta memberikan gambaran peningkatan kemampuan anak dalam mengurutkan dan menceritakan isi cerita dengan media gambar seri. Rancangan pendekatan penelitian ini berupa rancangan deskriptif kualitatif.Sumber data penelitian ini adalah semua anak TK Dharma Wanita Sungelebak Kecamatan Karanggeneng.Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data tes kegiatan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan menceritakan kembali isi cerita sederhana dengan media gambar seri adalah berada pada kategori cukup dengan skor rata-rata ** (bintang 2) dan peningkatan kemampuan mengurutkan dan menceritakan isi cerita dengan media gambar seri berada pada kategori baik dengan skor rata-rata *** (bintang 3).

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to reveal the creativity of teachers to teach in Social studies learning and describe the influence of teachers creativity in teaching Social studies in improving the quality of students’ learning to the fourth grade in the first semester of the second state Elementary School Pengumbulanadi, Tikung - Lamongan. This study was designed in the form of the activity cycle. One cycle of activity consisted of four activities, namely: (1) pre - reflection, (2) Planning, (3) The implementation and monitoring, (4) Reflection. From the observation and record activities during PBM of 19 students was able to be obtained significant results in which the value of the results of prior actions gained an average value of 5.5 and after the holding of the action in the numbers with an average value of 7.5. Based on the discussion and analysis for action could be deduced that: the teaching creativity of the teachers at Social studies learning could improve the quality of students’ learning at the fourth grade in the first semester of the second state Elementary School Pengumbulanadi, Tikung - Lamongan.

Abstract

Civics is one of the subjects that have a role in shaping the character of students, but lately other than the application of positive values that exist in the material subject of Civics feel to have fragile and has no meaning, it is proven values obtained by the students still less than satisfactory, as academic, students also flagged an interest in learning. In this study conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, execution, observation and reflection. This action research results are as follows: in the first cycle of observation results sheet student interest average percentage is 63.5% and the average value of daily tests 68.03, while in the second cycle of observation sheet student interest Average percentage 73.67 % and the average daily value of replications 81.29. It can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning can increase interest and student achievement in the subject of Civics.

Abstract

The objectives are: (1) to describe the ways teacher applies communicative approach in teaching Indonesian language at the fifth grade of SDN Karangkembang Babat in the academic year 2012/2013 and (2) to know the fifth grade students’ competence of SDN Karangkembang Babat in mastering Indonesian language after being taught using communicative approach. This research is a descriptive one. The data of this research are steps applied by the Indonesian language teacher and the scores achieved by the students due to the use of communicative approach in teaching in the classroom. The results of the research show that the procedures of communicative approach involve two methods, namely: (1) task-giving mehod, and (2) asking-answering method. In terms of students’ competence, the fifth grade students of SDN Karangkembang can achieve good scores due to the use of communicative method in the process of learning of Indonesian language.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the increase of learning motivation and learning outcomes on PKN at sixth graders after the applied of of cooperative models Group Invesigation (GI) methods. This study used the design of classroom action research (PTK) Kemmis and Taggart models with spiral from one cycle to the next. Each cycle included planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of class VI at the first state Elementary School Tawangrejo Sub Turi Lamongan. The research instrument used was (1) the observation sheet of the students’ activities, (2) the observation sheet of teacher’s activity, and (3) a test sheet. Data were analyzed using simple statistics. The results showed that with the implementation of learning PKN group model of cooperative methods of investigation (GI) can increase the students motivation. This was evidenced from their improving of the students’ learning outcomes, it was the first cycle of absorption of students on average 64.00 into 81.00 in the second cycle. And the data completeness of classes were also increasing that was the first cycle to 70% increased to 90% in the second cycle.
