Abstract

                                                    ABSTRAKTION     In dieser Untersuchung wird die illokutionäre Arten und Funktionen in dem Film Berlin, Berlin von Franziska Meyer Price beschrieben. Es ist eine pragmatische Analyse und hat das Ziel, um die illokutionäre Arten und illokutionäre Funktionen im Film Berlin, Berlin von Franziska Meyer Price zu finden, zu identifizieren, zu bestimmen und zu beschreiben. Die Datenquelle wird aus dem Ausdruck des Schauspielers im Film Berlin, Berlin von Franziska Meyer Price aufgenommen. In dieser Untersuchung verwendet die Schreiberin die Theorien von Searle, zitiert von Schlieben-Lange (1975) und Stenschke-Busch (2008)), und Unrath-Scharpenack (2000), um die iIlokutionäre Arten zu finden, zu identifieren und zu beschreiben. Um die illokutionäre Funktionen zu bestimmen und zu beschreiben verwendet die Schreiberin die Theorie von Leech (1993). Nach Searle besteht die illokutionäre Arten aus Repräsentative, Direktive, Kommissive, Expressive und Deklarative. Außerdem nach Unrath-Scharpenack besteht die illokutionäre Arten aus Deklarativa, Interogativa, Direktiva, Representativa, Expressiva, Kommunikativa, Kommisiva und Konjunktiva. Nach der Meinung von Leech befindet sich die illokutionäre Funktionen aus Kompetetiv, Konvivial, Kolaborativ und Konfliktiv. Als die Schlüßfolgerung findet die Schreiberin acht Arten der Illokution, nämlich 1) Representativa: Festellungen, Behauptungen, Explikationen, Beschreibungen, informieren, mitteilen, berichten; 2) Direktiva: Befehle, Bitten, Aufforderung, Warnungen, verbieten; 3) Kommisiva: Versprechen, Drohungen, Anerbieten; 4) Expressiva: Bedangkungen, Beglückwünschungen, Entschuldigungen, Klagen, Ausdrücke des Unmutes, Ausdrücke der Hoffnung, Ausdrücke der Uberraschung, Ausdrücke der Erleichterung, Ausdrücke der Freude; 5) Deklarativa: ein Paar trauen, Verurteilen; 6) Interogativa: Ergänzungsfrage; 7) Kommunikativa: Namensnennungen oder Titulierung, Begrüßungsformeln mit oder ohne Namensnennungen oder Titulierung; 8) Konjunktiva: Konjunktive Festellungen, Wünsche, Vermutungen. Außerdem findet sie auch vier Funktionen der Illokution nämlich 1) Kompetitiv: Befehle, Bitten; 2) Konvivial: Anerbieten, Aufforderung, grüβen, Bedankungen, Beglückwünschungen; 3) Kollaborativ: Festellungen, berichten; 4) Konfliktiv: Drohungen, Schelten.Stichwörter : die illokutionäre Akte, die Funktionen von Illokution, der Film

Abstract

                                                 ABSTRACT     This research is entitled “The Terms of Food in English and Tonsea Language (A Contrastive Analysis)”. This reseacrh is an attempt to identify, analyze, classify, and contrasting the terms of food which are used in English and Tonsea language. The English data have been collected from thesis and from the internet, whereas the Tonsea language data have been elicted from Tonsea dictionary and from some informant. The descriptive method is used to describe and analyze the kinds of food by using Frisch in Hickerson theory. After describing the kind of food in English and Tonsea language, the writer makes a contrastive analyze by using Robert Lado theory in finding out the similarities and diffrences of both language. The result shows that the kind of terms of food in english and Tonsea language consists of two groups, they are solid food consist of food and beverage/drinks. Solid food consists of fruits, vegetable, bread, meat, fish and seafood, and proccesed food. Beverage/drink consist of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink.Keywords: The Terms of Food in English and Tonsea Language, Contrastive Analysis.

Abstract

                                                   ABSTRACT     The title of this research is “Jenis dan Makna Simbol dalam Upacara Pernikahan Keluarga Kerajaan Inggris dan Bolango (Sebuah Analisis Kontrastif)”. The study is an attempt to describe and analyze the contrast of symbols in England and Bolango which focuses on Royal wedding ceremony in relations to theirs patterns and classes in both cultures. Royal wedding ceremony is a part of cultures and traditions while symbols are the basis of cultures. Symbols is used as a tool of communication guides to broadening the horizons of cultural insight in humans. This research used descriptive method. The data were taken from Library research and field research, in this case choosing informants and giving the interview. The data were collected, analyze, and described to find out the forms of Symbols in royal wedding ceremony the writer used theory Peirce (2010). After that, the meaningof symbols were analyzed by using Glasser’s theory (1972). The result of this study is Symbols in royal wedding ceremony in England and Bolango each have five settled symbols that has been contrasted using Lado’s (1957) theory.Keywords: Symbols, contrastive analysis, England and Bolango

Abstract

                                                     ABSTRAK     Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan proses morfologis kata kerja dalam bahasa Ponosakan, (2) mengidentifikasi fungsi dan makna proses morfologis kata kerja bahasa Ponosakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simak dengan menggunakan teknik simak libat cakap. Selanjutnya dalam tahapan analisis data, penelitian ini menggunakan metode referensial kemudian disajikan dengan menggunakan metode formal dan informal (Sudaryanto, 2015). Adapun proses morfologis kata kerja yang terjadi dalam bahasa Ponosakan adalah (1) afiksasi (a) prefiks {mo-}, {moN-}, {moko-} (b) infiks {-in-} (c) konfiks {no-/-ron}, {noN- /-ron} dan {-in-ron} (2) reduplikasi morfemis (a) dwilingga v +R , (b) kombinasi {mo- } v +R → v,{mo-} n +R → v, {moN-} v +R → v, {no-ron} v +R → v, {noN-ron} v +R → v.Kata kunci: morfologi, verba, bahasa Ponosakan.                                                     ABSTRACT      The objectives of this study were: (1) to describe the morphological process of the Ponosakan verbs, (2) to identify the function and meaning of the Morphological process of the Ponosakan verbs. At the stage of providing data, the method used in this study was the listening method using the listening proficiently technique. Furthermore, in the data analysis stage, this study used the separate method. Meanwhile, in its application, the writer uses the dressing technique and then presents it using formal and informal methods (Sudaryanto, 2015). The morphological processes of verbs that occur in the Ponosakan language are (1) affixation (a) prefix {mo-}, {moN-}, {moko-} (b) infix {-in-} (c) confix {no - / - ron}, {noN - / - ron} and {-in-ron} (2) morphemic reduplication (a) dwilingga {v→ v}, {n → v}, (b) combination {mo-} v +R → v,{mo-} n +R → v, {moN-} v +R → v, {no-ron} v +R → v, {noN-ron} v +R → v.Keywords: morphologi, verbs, Ponosakan language.

Abstract

                                                   ABSTRACT     This research entitled “Rags to Riches as Reflcted in the Film A Knight’s Tale by Brian Hegland” It is research that focuses on Rags to Riches analysis, particulary showing the idea based on American Dream concept that riches is not the impotant element to live but happiness. In identifying, classifying, and analyzing the data, the writer uses the theory of McGlinn (2005) about the idea of rags to riches, and the theory of Literature by Wellek and Warren (1956) in order to analyze the intrinsic approach. The method employed in this research is descriptive method by Fraenkel dan Wallen (1993). The writer analyzes the idea of Rags to Riches found in the movie A Knight’s Tale by looking at the characters, plot, setting, but mainly on the main character: what the person says, what the person doesincluding, what the person thinks; what others say about the main character, what others do (that may help indicating what the main character could do and does not do). The data were collected from the movie entitled A Knight’s Tale. The result of this study shows that there are three elements reflected by the character of the movie regarding to the idea of Rags to Riches; they are: hardworking which divides into plan, sacrifice, and motivation; personality which consists of kindhearted, helpful, dilligent, respectful, and responsible: luck which has two types such as sudden luck and undefined luck. There are also four parts of characterization development includes personal description, opinion and disposition, talks, and reaction.Keywords: Rags to Riches, American Dream, Characterization Development.

Abstract

                                                 ABSTRAK     Skripsi ini membahas tentang tokoh dan penokohan suatu tinjauan struktural dalam novel Hantu di Rumah Kos. Unsur yang dianalisis adalah tokoh dan penokohan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Burhan Nurgiyantoro dan beberapa teori pendukung lainnya. Penelitian ini, menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penerapan metode kualitatif ini bersifat deskriptif yakni menggambarkan atau melukiskan segala sesuatu secara apa adanya. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, analisis data, dan penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Novel Hantu di Rumah Kos, memiliki satu tokoh utama, yaitu Renata, ia menjadi tokoh sentral, tokoh yang banyak diceritakan, tokoh yang senantiasa hadir dalam berbagai kejadian. Ada juga beberapa tokoh tambahan atau tokoh pendukung tokoh utama, seperti Radit kakaknya Renata, Pak Badrun dan Bu Asda orang tuanya Renata dan Radit, Vivian teman kosnya Renata yang sangat baik, Kang Jaya tukang bersih-bersih di Kos tempat Renata tinggal, dan juga Rega merupakan seniornya Renata di kampus.Kata Kunci : Tokoh, penokohan, unsur intrinsik, struktural.                                                  ABSTRACT     This thesis discusses the character and characterization of a structural review in the novel Hantu di Rumah Kos. The elements analyzed are characters and characterizations. This study uses the theory of Burhan Nurgiyantoro and several other supporting theories. This study uses a qualitative method. The application of this qualitative method is descriptive, which means that the data generated is in the form of words in the form of quotations in theory books or theses. Descriptive method, which describes or describes everything as it is.The research technique used is data collection, data analysis, and data presentation and conclusion drawing. Novel Hantu di Rumah Kos, has one main character, namely Renata, she becomes the central character, a character who is told a lot, a character who is always present in various events. Ranata is a person who is friendly and polite to all the characters in the story. There are also several additional characters or supporting figures for the main character, such as Radit, his brother Renata, Pak Badrun and Bu Asda, his parents Renata and Radit, Vivian, Renata's very good boarding friend, Kang Jaya, who cleans the boarding house where Renata lives, and also Rega. is Renata's senior in college, who also likes Renata.Keywords: Characters, characterizations, intrinsic elements, structural.

Abstract

                                                 ABSTRAKTION     Die Untersuchung behandelt sich Diktion und Sprachstil in den Songtexten der Band "Kraftklub". Die Probleme in dieser Untersuchung sind welche Arten von Diktion und Stil werden in den 9 Songtexten der Band Kraftklub verwendet und was bedeutet jede Diktion und jeder Sprachstil, der in den 9 Liedtexten der Band Kraftklub verwendet wird. Diese Untersuchung hat die Ziele, um die Art der Diktion und den Sprachstil, die in den 9 Liedtexten der Band Kraftklub zu identifizieren, zu klassifizieren, zu analysieren und zu beschreiben. Die Daten werden von Kraftklubs 9 Liedern bekommen. Als die theoretische Grundlage verwendet die Schreiber die Meinungen von Antje Kelle und Gorys Keraf. Die Schreiber benutzt eine deskriptive Methode von Nazir, um alle die Daten zu analysieren. Die Ergebnisse der Untersuchung sind Polysemie (2), Homonymie (1), Hyponym (2), Antonymie (1), Metapher (1), Personifikation (1), Synästhesie (1), Symbol (1), Sinekdoke (1), Litoten (1), Euphemismus (2), Lautmalerei oder Onomatope (1), Wortspiel (3), Anapher oder Wiederholung (4) und Endreim (4). Während die Bedeutung gefunden wird, gibt es konnotation Bedeutungen (14) und denotative Bedeutungen (6).Stichwörter: Diktion, Sprachstil, Liedtext, Bedeutung

Abstract

                                                    ABSTRACT     This research entitled "Ekspresi Sosial yang Digunakan oleh Mahasiswa Jurusan Sastra Inggris di Kelas Daring Analisis Wacana". This research focuses on identifying and classifying the social expressions and the functions of social expressions, as well as analyzing and describing the language styles of English Department students in the Discourse Analysis online class. These expressions were used by studentsto respond the lecturer and communicate with theirfriends during the Discourse Analysis online class. The data were taken from 2 classes of Discourse Analysis via Zoom and Whatsapp group. This research uses theories of Kirkpatrick (2008) which aims to identify, classify, and the functions of social expressions; and Joss (1978) which aims to analyze and describe the language styles. To ensure the data collection process, the writer uses descriptive method. The results of this research shows that there only 10 of 30 types of social expressions, namely special greetings, greeting people, asking permission, giving thanks, giving warning, offering help, expressing uncertainty, apologizing, saying goodbye, and telling time and dates. The functions of social expressions that are used by the students, namely: the function of special greetings is a hope that the person is fine, successful, lucky, and so on; the function of greeting people as an informal alternative to hello! when you meetsomeone; the function of asking permission is you ask permission to do something; the function of giving thanks is a form of response to someone thanking you for something; the functions of giving warning is put up by someone who does not want other people going on their land without permission; the function of offering help is someone offers to help you with something; the function of expressing uncertainty when you do not know whether something is true or you have doubts about something; the function of apologizing is you wish to apologize to someone for something bad, unpleasant, inconvenient, etc that you have done; the function of say goodbye is you leave someone or when they leave you; and the function of tell times dan dates was you want to know the time. In terms of language styles, there are 4 of 5 levels of style that are used, those are: formal style, consultative style, casual or formal style, and intimate style. Formal style usually follows a commonly accepted format, impersonal and formal, there are 34 language styles of social expression used by English Department students in Discourse Analysis online class. Consultative style is used for someone to consult with someone, two or many people who have problem to consultancy. In this part, there are 6 language styles of social expression used by the students. Casual or informal style is used to communicate each other whether in chat or talking directly, there are 3 language styles of social expression used by the students in Discourse Analysis online class. Intimate style is used for closed people to get several information or others that are 2 secret with an intimate people. In this part, there are 13 language styles of social expression used by English Department students in Discourse Analysis online class.Key words: Social Expressions, English Department Students, Discourse Analysis Online Class
