Abstract

This research tested the influence of Islamic Rural Bank promotion cost and training cost towards Islamic Rural Bank profitability in Indonesia. Research variable used promotion cost and training cost which were allocated by Islamic Rural Bank, while profitability used proxy Return on Asset (ROA). This research is explanatory research by using quantitative approach. Sampling technique conducted was quota sampling and it found 4 Islalmic Rural Bank in Indonesia period 2013-2017. Finding indicated that there was no influence promotion cost and training cost towards profitability of Islamic Rural Bank in Indonesia. Regression analysis conducted showed that Islamic Rural Bank could optimize education cost and training cost based on each division of Islamic Rural Bank and maximize promotion cost to introduce product and service in appropriate segment of long term so that each Islamic Rural Bank in Indonesia can present their company's performance to the maximum on the BPRudent Platform

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The position of Baitul Mal at BMT Amanah Ummah 2) Model of financing BMT Amanah Ummah for the dhuafa (poor people). 3) Distribution of ZIS funds for community empowerment in BMT Amanah Ummah. This method of research used descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted in BMT Amanah Ummah Sukoharjo in June until August 2016. The subject of the study was Amil treasury of BMT Amanah Ummah. Informants were Baitul Mal employees and mustahiq. Method of collecting data was done by observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study, namely, 1) The separation of management between Baitul Mal and Baitul Tamwil. The Baitul Mal of BMT Amanah Ummah has its own manager and management. 2) Model of financing for the dhuafa at the Baitul Mal of BMT Amanah Ummah is to use qardhul hasan financing agreement, in the form of revolving fund used to finance or develop dhuafa’s bussiness. 3) The distribution of funds of Zakat Infak and Sedekah (ZIS) at Baitul Mal BMT Amanah Ummah is allocated to programs of empowerment, health, education and charity. A larger portion of fund is allocated to the development programs.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Indonesia have an increasing number from year to year. Starting from 2012 to 2017 the development of MSME reached 13.98 percent. percentage in 2017, MSME have reached the number of 62,922,617 units in various regions in Indonesia, of course the number is much larger than the large businesses that only amounted to 5,460 units. Largest amount was donated by micro businesses as much as 62 million (98.7 percent), with small and medium enterprises amounting to 815 thousand units or only 1.3 percent. Sumber Kembar village is also a contributor to the unit. but still have difficulty in implementing the right marketing strategy. Research aims to know the implementation of marketing strategies in an effort to increase the sales turnover of MSME Sumber Kembar village and as an education on the impact caused. type of research method used qualitatively with case study approach. MSME in the village use offline steps in a product marketing that makes their turnover small and the business difficult to develop. if the MSME in Sumber Kembar village do not follow the development of technology, then they will be difficult to compete with other competitors who have advanced.

Abstract

Kampung Embroidery, Beji Subdistrict, Pasuruan Regency is one of the districts of East Java that thinks about the welfare of the community through creative efforts and Pasuruan is also known to be many creative women who are active in earning a living. In a situation of limited job opportunities, it turns out that in the area of ​​Embroidery Village, there are many Home Industry border craftsmen.. MSMEs have an important role in the economy and business development in Indonesia. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods and interactive data analysis. The results show that through economic growth a country is able to change its economic conditions for the better in accordance with maqashid sharia and can improve the welfare of the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is studying influence between financing of Islamic Banks, FDI and Economic Growth. The methodology used is a quantitative method usning panel data. We have chosen 10 counties from Organization Islamic Conference (OIC) over the period 2009-2017. The research is the fist study to influence financing of Islamic Bank, FDI and Economic Growth in OIC Countries. The result show that the financing of Islamic Banks and FDI simultaneously and positively has a significant effect on economic growth in the OIC Countries with a significant level of 0.0000

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of mudharabah, musyarakah, and murabahah financing on the level of profitability in banks using the Return on Assets (ROA) ratio simultaneously and partially. The sample used in this study was 42 data from the results of the outlier test which previously had 52 sample data into 42 sample data with the study population using 7 (seven) Islamic commercial banks until 2019. The data analysis method used in this study was multiple linear regression of panel data. The results of this study indicate that partially mudharabah financing has no significant negative effect on the level of profitability, while musharaka partially has a negative effect on the level of profitability. Murabahah financing has a significant positive effect on profitability.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the role of the Micro Waqf Bank in the economic empowerment of the community in Purwokerto by optimizing the management of productive waqf. This type of research is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques of interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through synchronization between the research data and the theory that would support the conclusions of this study. The results of this study indicate that the role of community economic empowerment carried out by BWM Amanah Berkah Nusantara is through the provision of micro-business financing to poor people who have businesses or people who intend to have a business. The financing is given at a predetermined nominal according to the business priority scale and without the use of collateral. Communities who receive financial assistance are provided assistance in developing religious businesses and guidance, so that empowerment activities can have an economic and spiritual impact.

Abstract

Sharia microfinance institution Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) is perfect for tackling economic problems on the microeconomic base. BMT uses Sharia principles and is free of riba which is banned in Islam. The function of this institution is as a supporter of the enhancement of economic efforts of micro and small entrepreneurs based on sharia systems. The objective of BMT activities that have a close relationship with the Sharia economics business, first is target result, second is growth, third is sustainability, last is blessing. Entrepreneurs should keep the orientation of this blessing to be the vision of its business, so that always in business activities always be in control of the sharia and the scourge of Allah. These four points became the main principle of BMT in its realization in the field. The role of BMT in economic strengthening is the increased employment opportunities and the application of financial systems based on the outcome in realizing equality, honesty, and fairness. By implementing the principles of Sharia and the Islamic power into real life, the spiritual values are aimed at directing and mobilizing dynamic, proactive, progressive, fair and moral ethics.

Abstract

This research is descriptive quantitative research which is conducted in 2015-2016. It aims to test the hypothesis relating to the performance comparison of retail bonds with retail Indonesian sukuk over the period 2011-2015. This study builds on the performance of that proxy in the form of coupon yield value in the Indonesian retail bond investments and returns on investments of retail Indonesian sukuk.Samples are taken in this study.  The collecting method uses the data are obtained from the annual report IDX Indonesia Bond Market Directory. The samples used are as many as 81 data. Data are analyzed by using descriptive test, normality test and different test through SPSS software version 15. The result shows that there is no significant difference between the performance of retail bonds with the performance of retail sukuk. Keywords: Indonesian Retail Bonds and Sukuk Retail Indonesia

Abstract

Impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia is not only in the productive sector but has an impact on the financial sector such as conventional and Islamic financial institutions including banking. Islamic banks have business activities through murabaha, istishna', and ijara financing for sale and purchase and lease types. The impact felt by the banking sector can be seen from the existence of financing problems. The purpose of this research is to compare the conditions of sharia financing before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is the paired sample t-test with a sample of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The results show murabaha and istisna' financing has increased, while ijara financing has decreased during the Covid-19 pandemic.
