Abstract

Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA terpadu belum diterapkan di beberapa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), salah satunya adalah SMPN 3 Muntilan. Hal ini dikarenakan kekurang pemahaman guru tentang IPA terpadu dan selama ini buku yang digunakan tidak menarik untuk dibaca dan dipelajari, sehingga hasil belajar siswa tidak mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Berdasarkan alasan tersebut maka dikembangkanlah bahan ajar IPA terpadu melalui lesson study pada materi bahan kimia buatan untuk makanan. Penerapan pembelajaran Lesson study bertujuan mengembangkan profesi guru untuk mengatasi kegagalan siswa dalam belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah  Research and Development untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar IPA terpadu dan menguji keefektifannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar IPA terpadu sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan bahan ajar IPA terpadu berpengaruh terhadap nilai siswa sehingga 86% nilai siswa mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal. Ketuntasan nilai siswa juga dipengaruhi oleh peningkatan profesi guru dalam pembelajaran lesson study.  The observation showed that integrated science learning has not been applied in several Junior High Schools, one of them is SMPN 3 Muntilan. The reason was most of teachers did not  understand what is meant by integrated science, and further the books they are using are not enjoyable in terms of readibility and learnability. Therefore, the learning result was not reaching the minimum mastery criteria. For those reasons an integrated science teaching material was developed by implementing the lesson study in the learning material of artificial chemical for food. The aim of implementations of lesson study was to develop a teachers’ profession to overcome the students’ failure. The research design was Research and Development to produce integrated science teaching material and verify its effectiveness. The research showed that teaching material was very appropriate so that it could be use on the learning process. The use of teaching material had an effect on students’ grade, in that 86% the grade of students was reaching the minimum mastery criteria. The increasing students’ grade is also affected by the teachers’ profession. The conclusion of this research was that integrated science teaching material was very appropriate criteria so that it could be used on the learning process and can help students to get better grade over 75.

Abstract

Pembelajaran terpadu merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang dianjurkan diterapkan pada mata pelajaran IPA di SMP, sebagaimana diatur dalam Permendiknas Nomor 22 Tahun 2006. Pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 2 Sayung belum diajarkan secara terpadu dan belum ada LKS IPA Terpadu. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) kelayakan LKS IPA terpadu bentuk cut and paste, dan (2) keefektifan penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKS temasuk kriteria layak. Uji keefektifan menggunakan uji t-test menunjukkan bahwa LKS efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.  Integrated learning is one of the learning models that is recommended to be applied in teaching science for junior high school students as based on Permendiknas Number 22 year 2006. Learning Science subject in SMP Negeri 2 Sayung had not been taught integratedly and there was no LKS Integrated Sciences subject. Based on the background of the problem, therefore the purpose of this research could be formulated determine: (1) the feasibility of integrated science LKS with ”cut and paste” form, and (2) the effectiveness of its use in learning process. Research design used in this research was development. Results of the expert validation showed that the LKS was eligibile to be as material subject. The effectiveness test on a t-test also showed that the LKS was effective to be used in learning process.

Abstract

Hasil observasi di SMP Negeri 2 Pucakwangi menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA belum dilaksanakan secara terpadu. Diantara penyebab para guru belum membelajarkan IPA secara terpadu adalah belum tersedianya bahan ajar terpadu, artinya bahan ajar IPA yang digunakan belum membahas materi dari aspek fisika, kimia, dan  biologi. Bahan ajar adalah bahan (materi) yang digunakan guru atau siswa dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya berupa modul. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan modul tema ekosistem dengan menerapkan pendekatan SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah modul IPA terpadu bervisi SETS pada tema ekosistem yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di SMP. Desain yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Penelitian dilakukan melalui tahap penelitian dan pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan produk, validasi, revisi, dan tahap uji coba. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII. Hasil penilaian pakar terhadap modul yang dikembangkan mencapai 88,34%, tanggapan siswa mencapai 99,47% dan semua siswa (100%) telah mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal yang ditetapkan (75). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan memenuhi syarat kelayakan sebagai bahan ajar. The observation results in SMP Negeri 2 Pucakwangi showed that the integrated science learning has not been applied. In this research, it is developed modules with topic of ecosystem by applying Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS) approach. This research aims to determine whether the modules which has developed decent used as teaching materials in junior high school. The research design applied in this research is a Research and Development (R&D). The research was done through research step and data collection, planning, development of product, validation, revision, and testing stage. The subject of research was the students of class VII. The expert judgment result of integrated science modules was developed reached 88,34%, student responses reached 99.47% and all students (100%) has reached the minimum mastery criteria set (75). Desain yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Penelitian dilakukan melalui tahap penelitian dan pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan produk, validasi, revisi, dan tahap uji coba. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penilaian pakar terhadap modul yang dikembangkan 95,47%, tanggapan siswa mencapai 99,34 %, dan semua siswa (100%) telah mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal yang ditetapkan (75). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan memenuhi syarat kelayakan sebagai bahan ajar.  The observations results in SMP Negeri 2 Pucakwangi showed that the integrated science learning had not been applied. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Education Card sebagai median pembelajaran IPA untuk menjelaskan energi dan mengevaluasi efektivitas belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Ada dua tahapan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu tahap proses pengembangan media pembelajaran Education Card dan hasil belajar siswa serta respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini efektivitas diukur dari siswa yang memiliki minat dan aktivitas sangat tinggi mencapai 78% total siswa, dan siswa yang mencapai nilai  mencapai 76% total siswa. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu  validator menilai bahwa media pembelajaran education card sangat layak. Pada  uji coba skala kecil dan skala besar siswa memberikan penilaian sangat layak dan layak pada media pembelajaran education card. Selain itu tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap media pembelajaran education card menunjukan tanggapan yang sangat baik. Pada uji coba pemakaian diketahui bahwa semua kriteria efektif dapat terpenuhi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran education card berbasis sains-edutainment layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPA terpadu tema energi di MTs.  This study aims to develop an Education Card as a learning media science to explain the energy and evaluate the effectiveness of student learning. This research is a Research and Development (R & D). There are two steps in this study, that is steps of the development of instructional media Education Card and student learning outcomes as well as students' response to learning. In this study measured the effectiveness of the students who have the interest and activity is very high at 78% of total students, and students who achieve a score ≥ 75 is 76% of total students. The results of this research that the validator considers that the media is well worth learning education card. On a small scale trials and large-scale assessment of students gave very decent and worthy in learning media education card. In addition to the responses of students and teachers towards instructional media education card showed excellent responses. At trial usage note that all criteria are met effectively. Based on the results of the study showed that media education card learning science- edutainment based fit for use as a medium of learning science integrated energy theme in MTs.

Abstract

Pembelajaran terpadu dianjurkan untuk diaplikasikan disemua jenjang pendidikan. Pengembangan modul IPA Terpadu berbasis pendidikan karakter dengan tema pemanasan global dapat memfasilitasi pembelajaran IPA terpadu di sekolah. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan modul IPA terpadu berbasis pendidikan karakter yang telah dikembangkan peneliti. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development. Langkah-langkah penelitian dikembangkan menggunakan metode R&D yang diambil dari pendapat Sugiyono, 2009. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul IPA terpadu berbasis pendidikan karakter layak dan efektif diterapkan untuk pembelajaran. Hal ini terlihat dari skor kelayakan penilaian mencapai 3,54 sesuai kriteria layak menurut BSNP. Sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal yang diperoleh siswa pada uji pelaksanaan lapangan mencapai 100% yang artinya modul efektif diterapkan untuk pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa modul IPA terpadu berbasis pendidikan karakter dengan tema Pemanasan Global layak digunakan sesuai dengan kriteria kelayakan bahan ajar oleh BSNP. Modul IPA terpadu berkarakter yang dikembangkan juga efektif dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di SMP/MTs kelas VII.  Integrated learning are encouraged to apply at all levels of education. Development of Integrated Sciences module based character education with the theme of global warming can facilitate to Integrated Science learning in schools. The purpose of this research was to determine the properness and effectiveness of an Integrated Science modules based on character education researchers has been developed. This research is a Research and Development. The research’s steps were developed by R&D methods that were taken from Sugiyono, 2009. The results show that the Integrated Science modules based on character is proper and effective to be applied in learning. This can be seen from the properness of assessment scores reached 3.54 which is proper with BSNP’s criteria. While the classical completeness is obtained by the students on the field of implementation test reaches 100%, the module of effective to be applied in learning. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that the Integrated Science modules based on character education with Global Warming theme is proper for in accordance with BSNP’s criteria. Integrated Science module based on character developed is also effective and can be used to learning in Junior High School / Grade VII.

Abstract

Hasil observasi di sekolah, pembelajaran IPA Terpadu belum dapat diterapkan, karena belum tersedianya perangkat pembelajaran IPA Terpadu. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian pengembangan LKS IPA yang memadukan beberapa kompetensi dasar dalam sebuah tema. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D, akan tetapi hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan (develop). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan yaitu LKS yang tidak menggunakan media cetak, tetapi menggunakan media informatika dengan sistem komputerisasi off line. LKS berbantuan Microsoft Expression Web Tema Pencemaran Lingkungan dan Kesehatan untuk siswa MTs kelas VII. LKS di buat dalam bentuk Microsoft Power Point dan Microsoft Word yang Link (bertautan) dengan Microsoft Expression Web dan beberapa buku penunjang BSE. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata presentasi aspek kelayakan isinya adalah 87,45%, aspek kelayakan penyajian 92,85% dan aspek kelayakan bahasa 90% yang berarti LKS yang dikembangkan layak digunakan. Hal ini juga didukung dengan presentasi hasil tanggapan guru 93,35%, presentasi hasil tanggapan siswa 95% dan peningkatan (gain) sebesar 0,35 dengan kriteria sedang, yang berarti LKS ini berpengaruh baik terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Result on observations at the school, teaching Integrated Science can not be applied, because of the unavailability of the Integrated science teaching. Therefore the development of research that combines science worksheets some basic competence in a theme. This study uses a model of the development of 4-D, but only reached the stage of development (develop). The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the developed worksheets that do not use print media, but using media informatics with a computerized system off line. Worksheet assisted Microsoft Expression Web Themes Pollution and Health for students of class VII MTs. Worksheet is made in the form of Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Word link with Microsoft Expression Web and several books supporting BSE. Based on the results, the average presentation aspects of the feasibility of its content is 87.45%, 92.85% presenting aspects of feasibility and feasibility aspects of the language of 90% which means that developed Worksheet fit for use. It is also supported by the presentation of the results of teachers' responses 93.35%, presenting the results of student responses and 95% increase (gain) of 0.35 with the criterion being, which means Worksheet this contributes to student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Bahan ajar digunakan untuk membantu guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Bahan ajar yang menarik membuat suasana belajar di kelas menjadi menyenangkan. Penelitian bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah bahan ajar IPA terpadu yang menarik yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran yaitu komik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Produk yang telah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh dua pakar kemudian dilakukan pengujian skala kecil dan skala besar. Data yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah data validasi produk oleh pakar, angket tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap komik bahan ajar IPA terpadu, data motivasi belajar siswa serta data pemahaman konsep siswa. Hasil penelitian komik yang dikembangkan tergolong layak berdasarkan hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh pakar dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran karena dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan pemahaman konsep siswa terhadap materi juga meningkat. Instructional materials used to assist teachers in implementing the teaching and learning activities. Interesting teaching materials make learning atmosphere in the classroom to be fun. Research aims to produce an effective, decent, and attractive integrated science teaching materials, namely comic. The method that used in this research is research and development (R and D). The product has been developed validated by two experts then testing a small scale and large scale. Data were analyzed in this research is a data product validation by experts, questionnaire responses of teachers and students toward an integrated science teaching materials comics, student motivation’s data, and student’s understanding of concepts data. The results comic developed was relatively decent based on the results of the validation are performed by experts and effectively used in learning because it can increase student’s motivation and student’s conceptual understanding of the material increases.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektivan modul IPA terpadu tema penglihatan dengan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together sebagai bahan ajar untuk SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan “Penelitian dan Pengembangan”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul IPA terpadu tema penglihatan dinyatakan layak dengan hasil validasi pakar pada Tahap I sebesar 100% dan pada Tahap II sebesar 81,63%. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba skala kecil dan skala luas persentase rata-rata skor angket tanggapan siswa mengenai modul IPA terpadu tema penglihatan sebesar 81,85% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal sebesar 100% dengan hasil rata-rata nilai akhir siswa sebesar  89,04 dengan rata-rata hasil N-Gain 0,5 yang menunjukkan bahwa modul efektif dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar untuk SMP. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa modul IPA terpadu tema penglihatan yang telah dikembangkan layak dan efektif dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar untuk SMP.  This study was aimed to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the science module integrated with the visual theme of the Numbered Heads Together learning model as the teaching materials for junior high senior. This research was conducted by Research and Development approach. The results showed that the integrated science module with visual theme was declared that it was feasible with expert validation results in Stage I of 100% and in the Stage II of 81.63%. Based on the results of the small-scale and the large-scale trials percentage of the average score of the students' questionnaire responses about the integrated science module with Visual theme was 81.85% with the criteria of "very good". The student learning outcomes obtained 100% classical completeness with an average yield of the student's final score was 89.04 and the average results of N-Gain 0.5 which indicates that the module was effective to be used as the teaching materials for junior high school. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the developed integrated science module with Visual themes was viable and effective to be used as the teaching materials for junior high school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses pengembangan dan keefektifan multimedia interaktif dengan education game pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu tema cahaya untuk siswa SMP/MTs. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Ada dua tahapan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu tahap proses pengembangan multimedia interaktif dengan education game dan uji efektivitas. Dalam penelitian ini efektivitas diukur dari siswa yang memiliki minat dan aktivitas sangat tinggi mencapai 75% total siswa, dan siswa yang mencapai nilai  mencapai 75% total siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian validator terhadap multimedia interaktif sangat layak. Pada  uji coba skala kecil dan skala besar siswa memberikan penilaian sangat layak dan layak pada multimedia interaktif. Selain itu tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap multimedia interaktif menunjukan tanggapan yang sangat baik. Pada uji coba pemakaian diketahui bahwa semua kriteria efektif dapat terpenuhi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa multimedia interaktif dengan education game efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPA terpadu tema cahaya untuk siswa SMP/MTs. The study aimed to analyze the process of development and effectiveness of interactive multimedia with education game on integrated science learning light themes for Junior High School students. This is a Research and Development (R&D) work. In the study there are two steps. The first one is the process of developing interactive multimedia with education game. The second one is effectiveness test. The result of the study that is validator consider interactive multimedia is very feasible. In the small scale and big scale test the students consider it is very feasible and feasible. In addition, the students and teachers’s response toward the interactive multimedia are well. In the test of usage it is known that all effective criteria is fulfilled. According to the result of the study with interactive multimedia is effective and feasible to use as the learning media integrated science of light themes for Junior High School students.
