Abstract

Exports in Indonesia progress quite rapidly.This can be seen by many exporters competeto market their products abroad. Exporterscompeting to provide and give the best fortheir customers. Therefore, it is neededactivities to protect the goods from pestsattacks with fumigation. Nowadays a lot offumigator are trying to offer the bestfumigation services for exporters.This study aims to identify and analyze theinfluence of service quality, price andpromotion to the customer's decision to usethe services of fumigation in PT SucofindoSemarang.Sampling using total sampling technique.With a target of 90 customers which use theservices of fumigation in PT SucofindoSemarang. Data collecting method usedquestionnaires, interviews and observation.Data were measured using a linear scale.Data processing with hypothesis testing usinglinear regression analysis.The result shows that there are 7 independentvariables affect the customer's decision to usethe services of fumigation campaign in whichpromotion variables are independentvariables that have the highest influencevalue. And the price variable is theindependent variable that has the smallestinfluence on customer decision variables touse the services of fumigation in PT SucofindoSemarang. Rated R sequare = 71.3% meansthat the variable relationship is quite tight.

Abstract

Experts of Communication state thatcommunication is the backbone ofmanagement. This indicates the strategic rolesof communication. Management which is notsupported by effective communication willfail to achieve its goals or targets. Effectivecommunication and effective managment islike the two sides of a coin.They cannot beseperated. Effective public speaking as a partof effective communication give itssignificant contributions to effectivecommunication process in a businessorganizations. Abstract

During this several period, the production ofGum Rosin produced by Perum Perhutani asthe only producer has given goodcontribution for the export development ofGum Rosin, Indonesia. The domestic sales isinclined to down, it happens caused theexistence of the substitution products formanufacturing the raw material of soap andthe wane of industry’s buying power. Thisstudy is trying to examine the factors thataffect the number of Gum Rosin export. Tounderstand whether the factor of Gum Rosindomestic price affect the number of GumRosin export, to understand the number ofGum Rosin production factors affect thenumber of Gum Rosin export, to understandthe export price factor affect the number ofGum Rosin export, to understand the domesticsales factor affect the number of Gum Rosinexport, to understand the exchange rate valuefactor affect the number of Gum Rosin export.The result of this research shows that variableof Gum Rosin domestic price, the number ofGum Rosin production, the Gum Rosin exportprice, the Gum Rosin domestic price and theexchange rate of rupiah, significantly effectstoward the number of Gum Rosin export inPerum Perhutani. The result of the researchidentified the flow of Gum Rosin based on themarket share, for all this time, the majormarket share of Gum Rosin Perum Perhutaniis India, but still lost out to China.

Abstract

This research examines the influenceKITEfacilities and Rupiah exchange rate to exportvalues in Central Java using the monthly datafrom January 2006 until December 2011usessecondary data from some governmentinstance in Central Java, and using themultiple linier regression analysis by SPSSversion 16.0.The objective of this research is to analysis ofinfluence KITE facilities and Rupiahexchange rate to export values in CentralJava.The results simultaneous by F-test indicatedthat the present KITE facilities and Rupiahexchange rate affected export values inCentral Java significantly. Meanwhile, theresult of this research in partial (T-test)indicated that the present KITE facilitiesaffected positivelyand significantly towardexport values. While Rupiah exchange rateaffect negatively significantlytoward exportvalues in Central Java

Abstract

The purpose of this reseach was to identifythe influence of training and workingmotivation to employees satisfaction of PT.Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Pesero) CabangTajung Emas Semarang. Questionnaire,Interview and literature studies are theinstruments used to collect data.Questionnaires were distributed to 60employee as respondents. The dataanalysis used the method of multiple linierregression coefficient analysis. Regressionanalysis was used to determine theinfluence of training and workingmotivation to emlpoyee performance.Data were processed using SPSS v.16.0.The result of this study is that thecalculation of regression coefficientobtained Y= 1,882e + 0,560 X1 + 0,349X2.The training and motivation ofemployees have a significant effect onemployee job satisfaction. for trainingvariables showed a positive and significantinfluence. As for the variable employeesmotivation also showed the same resultsare positive and have significant effect onemployee Job satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) whetherthe compensation and work environment hasa positive and significant impact onemployee motivation in logistic departmentof PT. Semarang Autocomp ManufacturingIndonesia (SAMI) Semarang, and 2) themost significant factors that affectcompensation and work environmenttowards employee motivation in logisticdepartment.In this study the author deploys 55questionnaires to all employees of thelogistic department at PT SAMI. The methodused by the authors is the classicalassumption test, multiple linear regressionanalysis and coefficient determination test.Based on the calculation of data andanalysis used, the regression equation is:Y = 0.881 + 0,315X1 + 0,297X2By using multiple linear regressionanalysis, it can be seen that the variablecompensation (X1) with the calculated valueof 5.579 T is greater than 1,675 tables T,and the significant value of 0.000 using a0.05 significances. 0.000 <0.05. It meansthat the compensation variable havesignificant and positive effect on workmotivation.There is a positive and significantinfluence between work environmentvariables (X2) on work motivation. With thevalue of T calculated = 3.683 (greater thanT table 1.675) and significance value of0.001 (less than 0.05).Based on the double determination test withadjusted R-square value of 0.573, this meansthat the variable compensation (X1) andwork environment (X2) has a 57.3% effecton work motivation.From the above results it is concludedthat the compensation and workenvironment have positive and significanteffect on work motivation variable.Compensation has a greater influence thanthe working environment. It can be seenfrom the t table, where the value ofcompensation = 5.579 which is greater than3,683 working environment.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the increasing number ofSmartphone users at Andromax brand in thecommunity is lower, middle, and uppersegment. It seems that this smartphone growthis increasing in accordance with the needs ofthe community in communication to gainquick and easy by data services. Manyoperators compete in branding special mobilephone with sophisticated specification.Smartfren has recognized this opportunitysince 2011 and 2012 and consistent in dataservices and bundling which turned out to bebooming at this time (Ibrahim , Djoko Tata :2014) .A number of smartphone vendors do not dareto focus their work on secondary city, but forSmartfren, the city became the main target inmarketing Andromax. Seeing thisphenomenon the researchers are interested toAnalyze the Effect of Perceived Prices ,Brands, and Packaging of Smartfrenhandphone towards Buying ConsumerInterests In Semarang State PolytechnicStudents. Therefore, the problem of theproposed research is to determine the factorsthat most influence on buying interest onSmartfren hand phone .Further variables and indicators have beendetermined according to the study. A modelhas been developed and three hypotheseshave been formulated to address the problemof this research. The sampling technique waspurposive sampling method, while therespondents in this study amount to 77people. The respondents are mobile phoneusers of Smartfren among Semarang StatePolytechnic students. The research wascarried out for 4 months by distributingquestionnaires to the 77 respondents .The survey was conducted and analyzed usingValidity, Reliablitas then analyzed byRegression Analysis Tool to determine whichvariables most affect buying Interests. Thisstudy examines four objectives, i.e 1). Toanalyze how much influence the price is onthe buying Interests on Smartfren handphone,2). To analyze how much influence the Brandis on handphone Smartfren Buying interest,3). To analyze how much influence thepackaging is on the buying interest onSmartfren handphone. 4). To analyze whichvariables that most influence on Smartfrenhandphone buying interest.The finding is this research is the mostinfluential variable on buying interest onSmartfren handphone with equation BUYINGINTEREST RATES = 1.36 + 0.14 PRICE+0.62 BRAND + 0.33 BRAND PACKAGING +ε .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence ofthe growth of Domestic Investment (DCI) andForeign Direct Investment (FDI) onemployment in Central Java. Research onemployment was conducted in Central Javafor the period of 1985 to 2014 by usingmultiple linear regression analysis. Theresults of this study indicate that employmentin Central Java is effected by variableDomestic Invesment and Foreign DirectInvestment by 51,1%. This study finds asignificant positive relationship between thevariable of Domestic Investment (DCI) onemployment in the Central Java, whileForeign Direct Investment (FDI) has asignificant but negative effect on employmentin Central Java. Based on this research, theauthor provides advice for DCI and FDI toincrease employment in Central Java -Indonesia.
