Abstract

The increasement internet development causes the changes that influences the society’s life, mainly for the big cities society, such as Manado, North Sulawesi Province, one of the changes is the shopping place especially for the students. They go shopping to the conventional shop and online shop either. It makes the conventional markets promote their goods through the online shops. The changes of consumers mainly the students causes one of the supporting changes. They no longer consumes the goods and services at the conventional market but using online shops. Unfortunately, the students go shopping not because of their needs but only for their desire and lifestyle so it causes the consumerism life style which is known as wasteful. This research uses the qualitative method with the descriptive approach that useful for giving the the facts and datas about the students shopping online activity, then the datas will be critically analyzed by the theory of society's consume by Jean Baudrillard and the theory of needs by Abraham Maslow therefore the deeper analization about the purpose of students online shopping activity will be created. Based on the researches result, it is found that there are three categories of the students online shopping activity: 1. Based on their needs 2. Get influenced by other things such as: promotions of discounts, cashback, giveaway, bonus, or the certain gifts from the seller or the advertisements in electronics media or the social media, the recommendation from others also, and 3. Abstract

Jilbab is a loose clothes brackets that are equipped with a veil that covers the head, part of the face and chest. The veil illustrates the obedience of a Muslim woman to the teachings of Islam, because Islam does require women to cover their genitals, and the veil is one of the genitalia covering the head to the chest of women. In social life, some people consider that a Muslim woman who wears the hijab should be able to maintain her behavior and language in order to remain good and polite as should the sanctity of a veil she wears.After the hijab as a lifestyle of modern women among female students, the reason female college students do to wear the hijab is because it can protect them from the sun and rain. Besides wearing the hijab protect from adultery. The impact of the hijab that occurred is positive and negative impacts. The positive is that many female students today choose to use the veil in every activity and there are also negative impacts, namely the headscarves that are still visible, some are visible to the ears, and others that are certainly not shar'i.With the hijab as a lifestyle of modern women, many students want to wear the hijab because the hijab model is now more modern, varied and simple. Abstract

This researchaims to understand more deeply about the tradition of Ma’nene which is a continuation of Aluk Todolo solo’ signs that are transformerd into the Christian version of the Ma’nene tradition, with reference to the focus of research that describes the prosess of implementing the tradition of Ma’nene (cleaning the remains of ancestors) in the Toraja community (case studi in the village of Tonga Riu Sesean Suloara’ district north Toraja regency). This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type that emphasizes the description of the object under study based on the facts that eist, determination of informants is done by purposive sampling, namely the determination of informants carried out deliberately with certain criteria that are considered capable of providing information relating to research problems. data collection techniques used in this study are observation and interview techniques in addition, there are also data collection techniques using literature study. The results of this study indicte the process of implementing Ma’nene in a belief almost has in common, but the implementing rules are different, the fuction of the Ma’nene version of Aluk Todolo is to ask for blessing to the spirits of the ancestors, while the function of the Christian version of the Ma’nene for Aluk Todolo and the Christian community has in common the sign of affection and the award of their for families who have died. Abstract

Seaweed is one of the most promising efforts if it can be managed intensively. From the research showed that the process of seaweed management developed by the community, especially in the village NainI when developed intensively. Until now, the community has been integrated to develop seaweed cultivation by utilizing enough potential sea water, so that it has a good enough prospects in the development of community life patterns. It has been understood that the process of community integration in the handling of seaweed cultivation, especially in the village of Nain Satu until now, among others, is done with the following stages: a). By means of location selection/maintenance and utilization of seedlings B). Location selection cultivation and the method of manufacture C). Planting process and breeding seaweed D). Seedlings care and Maintenance system e). Process of handling post Panen f). Profit gained from the management of Seaweed g). Impact on increase in farmer income h). Improvement in life patterns. Abstract

Two-wheeled Vehicles (Ojek), is an informal means of transportation that is needed by the community of Bitung City Madidir subdistrict. The use of motorcycles, to reach places that are difficult to be traversed by four-wheeled vehicles (public transport). To bring people and goods based on agreement between the Users of transportation services (Ojek) and riders. Usually two-wheeled vehicle drivers (Ojek) work in groups and gather at certain points along with the drivers of other two-wheeled vehicles (Ojek). Usually a two-wheel rider called by the name Ojek base or discuss in general is a conventional ojek that is not bound by the company (Independent).Being a Ojek handyman is a choice taken by a number of people despite the income they earn low and unstable but this work they do as a major livelihood that can make money and hope the family economic needs are fulfilled.Economic problems occur in various sectors both formal and informal sectors. The informal sector is currently experiencing problems i.e. two-wheeled transportation or Ojek. The development of technology that facilitates the public to access the transportation services online that makes the base motorcycle taxi driver.In general they also do not have private home and land in the city of Bitung (just contracted, borrowing land, and cost), because most of the motorcycle taxi that is in the city of Bitung comes from villages in the district in North Sulawesi province. Keywords: transportation, informal, livelihood

Abstract

In today's globalization era, the rapid development of technology demands the community to follow its existing developments. In addition, the development also provides convenience to the community in assisting daily life, so that people now prefer to use practical things.With the development of online-based transportation, the fans of the work also increased, especially in large cities such as Manado. Many people who make the profession of motorbike taxi driver online as a main job or a side job. In general motorbike taxi is a job that is identical to men, but this work is also in demand by women. In addition to the increasingly high competition in the workforce and the higher level of life needs encourages women to become online motorbike taxi drivers, because being an online motorbike taxi driver requires no special skills and a high level of education.About the Presence of the female Go-Jek driver in Manado City, the community responds with different perception. Some of the people of Manado still have not received a woman's Go-Jek driver by cancel every order when she learns that she is a woman. But some of the people of Manado city especially women are very much appreciated to appreciate the work of women go-Jek drivers because they feel comfortable and more friendly when getting a woman's Go-Jek driver. Keywords: women, transportation, motorbike taxi online

Abstract

The problem of population density, development speed, uneven spread, relatively low average productivity, unemployment and the problem of the workforce, has long been the center of attention and is part of the improvement target in Indonesia's development strategy. One such development program is through transmigration. Population density in the island of Java Madura, Bali and Lombok, compared to the distance from other islands in Indonesia, the population inequality is very large. Therefore, the population equality is continuously encouraged one of them with the transmigration program.The implementation integrates various related programs in both economic, social and cultural areas. With such an idea, the development of Transmigration has a feature of social development introduced, especially in integrating economic development with social development to realize social welfare.Korobonde Village is one of the transmigration villages located in Lembo sub-district, Morowali Utara Regency, Sulawesi Tengah Province, the transmigrants who came to Korobonde village are those of the Jawa Tengah, and the Jawa Timur.With the connectivity and cultural dependence of migrant citizen and local residents, especially in the field of percentage, social life is happening in every day, social fieldomi is a major factor in the process of social integration, cooperation between local ethnicity and migrant citizen is a mixture of several ethnic groups that exist in Korobonde village. Keywords: integration, fulfillment needs, transmigration

Abstract

Globalization is all about the aspect of human life, one of the important aspects of globalization's influence is lifestyle change. Individuals who rapidly absorb information developments will tend to behave following the era of globalization. Fashion becomes one of the target individuals who have a desire to follow the trend, various media such as magazines, television, even many internet sites that offer the desired products. The change in fashion happens periodically tends to form individuals into consumptive up to the very frequent stages of spending intensity.In addition to lifestyle shopping community or family lifestyle can also be seen in daily activities. For example in the form of the social gathering they compete, there is no shopping at home but filling the social gathering like weekly, Monthly and others. While the lifestyle through consumptive life patterns can be seen from the way of shopping the community to meet the basic needs, both food, clothing, housing and others. Style.The consumptive life pattern is the desire to consume items that are less needed excessively just to find the satisfaction side. Indeed, consumptive behavior has a lot of negative effects than positive.
