Abstract

One of the potential commodities that are widely cultivated in Indonesia is palm oil, and palm oil or commonly referred to as palm oil is one of the processed products of palm oil which generates the most important foreign exchange for Indonesia. Data mining is a process that utilizes mathematical techniques, statistics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning techniques to extract and identify useful information and related knowledge from large databases [3], including palm oil price data. Random Forest is one of the methods in the decision tree. A decision tree is a flowchart shaped like a tree with a root node that is used to collect data that is used to solve problems and make decisions. In this study, a random forest algorithm was used to classify palm oil price data from 2014 to 2019. The classification method used the random forest algorithm on palm oil data using the Mtry parameter of 1 and the Ntree parameter of 500 resulting in an accuracy percentage of 100%. The most influential variable (importance variable) in the classification model using the resulting random forest algorithm is the palm oil variable.

Abstract

Corporate bankruptcy can hurt the company and affect the state of the economy. Therefore, many interested parties want to know the business situation related to the company. These parties include creditors, auditors, shareholders, and management itself who have an interest in knowing the state of the company in the context of bankruptcy. The past financial statements of a company can be used to predict future financial conditions using report analysis techniques. In the risk assessment process, expert knowledge is still seen as an important task, because expert predictions are subjective. This study aims to predict the bankruptcy of the company using influencing factors such as the level of research and development costs, the growth rate of total assets, and the current asset turnover rate. The method used in this research is the prediction method using the Linear Regression Algorithm. Based on the test results show that the variables or attributes used in this study have a significant effect, as evidenced by using a linear regression algorithm to be able to produce a Root Mean Squared Error value: 0.162 +/- 0.000.

Abstract

This research uses the TELOS approach to assess the risks and feasibility of developing current systems as part of the information systems study program. The examination begins with technical feasibility, followed by economic feasibility, legal feasibility, operational feasibility, and time-frame feasibility. Observational and interview-based methods for data collecting. The research's findings demonstrate that the development of the data centre information system is ELIGABLE.

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in natural beauty, and in various regions it presents many tourist objects that attract visitors from various regions and foreign countries. Hotels, as a form of public accommodation, are extremely beneficial to tourists who are traveling by providing lodging services in the form of hotel rooms. The article aims to design a carbon dioxide (CO2) gas detector because CO2 gas is included in air quality and uses the MQ 135 sensor to detect gas in order to provide comfort to hotel visitors. carbon dioxide (CO2), DC fans as air neutralizers in hotel rooms, and with notifications via telegram to find out the levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) gas in hotel rooms.

Abstract

The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic over the past few years has made the tourism world slump, and Indonesia is no exception. However, this creates a potential use of IT not only for managing tourism activities but also for managing risks and conflicts that arise due to pandemics or others. The existence of various integrated managements on the economic, socio-cultural, and ecological dimensions can create tourism sustainability that is supported by technological advances. The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive and integrated model of sustainable tourism activities supported by the use of IS/IT infrastructure. The methods used in the formation of this model are Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) and smart thinking. From ISM, four key components are produced, namely innovation, local wisdom, local residents resources, and revitalization of tourist destinations due to disasters. The results of this study are in the form of a smart tourism sustainability model in Indonesia which is supported by an integrated application derived from the four key components

Abstract

The formalin detector is a device designed to assist in identifying the level of formaldehyde in food and beverages. Formalin is a chemical used as a preservative, but it can also be harmful to health if too much is consumed. In this design, we use the HCHO sensor as part of the formalin detection system. The HCHO sensor works by utilizing a chemical reaction between formalin and a catalyst to produce hydroxyl and carbon monoxide. This sensor is capable of detecting the concentration of HCHO and sending an electrical signal to the control module connected to the device. The control module will analyze the signal obtained from the sensor and display the results on the LCD screen located on the tool. This design offers an easy and efficient solution for detecting formaldehyde levels in food and beverages, so that people can ensure that the food and drinks they consume are safe from harmful chemicals.
