Abstract

Abstract: An engaged employee is aware of organization objectives and works more effort to improve performance within the job for the benefit of the organization. Employee engagement develops positive attitude among the employees towards the organization. Proper attention on engagement strategies will increase the organizational effectiveness in terms of higher productivity, profits, quality, customer satisfaction, and employee retention. This study is to investigate the relationship between employee engagement and organizational effectiveness using qualitative approach and convenience sampling method that conducted interviews to ten informant at PT. Taspen. The finding proves that there is a meaningful relationship between the level of employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. The data analysis shows that performance of employee engagement effected by career development, compensation and benefits, organizational culture and policies and work environment. The recommendations are  the company should know the level of their employee engagement, and more focus on human resources program such as job design, development opportunities, fair treatment, gave better work environment to motivate employees with high engagement level. The better the reward and recognition in the company the better the employee engagement. Keywords: employee engagement, organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays business E-commerce has growing rapidly in Indonesia, and through the development of technology there is a concept as a new paradigm which is online shopping, and online shopping become the place that people can visit anytime to buy a product, and there are many factors that stimulated people to do impulsive buying. Nowadays the consumer buying behaviour which is impulse buying has becoming such a part of every person’s lifestyle that they do not realize or they are not even aware that they are doing it at times. This study aims to analyze the factors that stimulated people to do impulsive buying. This research uses Qualitative Method with In-depth Interview, in order to know more detail about the factors that stimulated people to do impulsive buying. The result of the research shows that internal and external factors have significant influence to the behaviour of the consumer when buying impulsively through online shops and based from all the informant the factors that dominant stimulated people to do impulsive buying is internal factors. The suggestion it is better to online shopping mantain their quality and for consumer it is better to realize what factors that stimulated them to do impulse buying.Keywords: impulse buying, buying behaviour, online shopping, internal factors, external factors.

Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays tourism is one of the common things that important for economics in Indonesia. The challenge facing today by the tourism object is how to make sure the products and services that they provide through the performance in order to achieve the satisfaction of tourist. There are five attributes in tourism service to measuring the tourist satisfaction to their performance, namely: hospitality, attraction, accessibility, infrastructure and environment. The objectives of this research; first, are to know the importance of tourist satisfaction and tourism service. Second, are to know the performance of tourism service and tourist satisfaction at Linow Lake, Tomohon. The method of this research is Importance-Performance Analysis, used to analyze the importance and performance of tourism service to increase the tourist satisfaction on the performance of Linow Lake, Tomohon. The result are: hospitality and infrastructure are located in the quadrant I “concentrate here” (very important to employees, but performance levels are fairly low); environment is located in quadrant II “keep up the good work” (very important to employees, and at the same time has a high level of performance in this activity); attraction and accessibility are located in the quadrant III “low priority” (low importance and low performance). Keywords: importance-performance analysis, tourism service, tourist satisfaction, hospitality, attraction, accessibility, infrastructure, environment

Abstract

Abstrak :  Persaingan global menuntut perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kinerja sumber daya manusianya. Kinerja sumber daya manusia sangat ditentukan oleh hard skill dan soft skill yang dimilikinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh hard skill dan soft skill terhadap kinerja karyawan PERUM DAMRI MANADO. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan pembagian kuisioner. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 60 orang responden, yang merupakan sampel jenuh. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik seperti uji validitas, uji reliabilitas untuk kuisoner. Selain itu uji asumsi klasik, regresi linear berganda, koefisien determinasi untuk pembuktian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hard skill dan soft skill berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Hasil pengujian uji t dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis diterima. Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan agar Perum DAMRI Manado terus memperhatikan peningkatan hard skill maupun soft skill dengan melakukan pelatihan sehingga kinerja karyawan semakin baik. Kata Kunci: hard skill, soft skill, kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan pilar utama yang dimiliki oleh sebuah perusahaan. Sebagai aset perusahaan yang berharga, tentunya penting bagi perusahaan untuk menjaga serta meningkatkan komitmen dan loyalitas yang dimiliki oleh SDM tersebut, agar dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi dukungaan organisasi dan keterlibatan kerja terhadap keterikatan karyawan. Penelitian ini di laksanakan pada PT. Wahana Nismo Manado, dengan jumlah sampel 35 orang. Alat yang digunakan untuk menguji instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji F dan uji t, sedangkan untuk menganalisis data digunkan Regresi Linier Berganda. Perhitungan statistik dilakukan dengen mengunakan bantuan program komputer SPSS. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui variable persepsi dukungan organisasi dan keterlibatan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap keterikatan karyawan. Sebaiknya PT. Wahana Nismo Manado memberikan perhatian pada persepsi dukungan organisasi dan keterlibatan kerja yang akan meningkatkan keterikatan karyawan. Kata kunci: persepsi dukungan organisasi, keterlibatan kerja, keterikatan karyawan

 Abstract: The Electronic commerce or E-commerce is one form of development in the field of technology, it looks promising, e-commerce makes economic actors especially micro small and medium enterprises to compete and start utilize the technology, many micro small and medium enterprises that implement e-commerce systems in running their business, but from the number of transactions e-commerce in Indonesia still shows the number of transactions that are classified as low. apart from e-commerce, social media and mobile devices is also a form of world development, it used to communicate and many others, MSMEs involving social media and mobile devices in running a business, From the data there are two objectives to be achieved is what is the role of social media and mobile devices on e-commerce in MSMEs, and to ensure that the intended objectives can be achieved, qualitative methods used as a research method, as well as conducting in-depth interviews. From the interview found that the results of social media into the media in promoting and also interact with buyers and mobile devices into a tool to carry out payment transactions. Abstract

Abstract: Women in the world of work is already familiar. Indonesia should still follow traditional rule, the role of women in the world of work is still limited. Women are still considered inappropriate to men's ability to work. The work women do in Indonesia is still a lot in the areas of public services and their positions in the company only occupy the position of middle and lower managers, women have no power or certain rights in the company. The barrier is called Glass Ceiling. This research aims to know how is Glass Ceiling Practices influence women employee in Bank Sulut Go Branch Bitung. This research is using qualitative method. The sample size of this research is 10 women  employee who work in PT. Bank SulutGo. The results showed that Glass ceiling does not affect women employee career development in Bank SulutGo Branch Bitung. So, related with the findings In order to avoid the action of glass ceiling or gender discrimination in the future (if there), Bank SulutGo have to make a seminar or observation every month in every branch offices about the disadvantage of glass ceiling and its influence to the company and organization.Keywords: glass ceiling

Abstract

Abstract: The appearance of the package plays a significant role in influencing consumers or to stir up buying desire as the packages give out images or ideas to consumers and create emotional attachment in consumers towards the products. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the packaging elements and its impact to consumers buying decisions on coffee packaging. Factor Analysis method was used in this research and the types of this research is qualitative method. 100 respondents are contributed on this research. There are three findings in this research, which are The Aesthetic of packaging, second is the Protection and Environmental of Packaging, and Promotion. The recommendations that can be drawn in this research. Companies must carefully in choosing right color on the packaging, different packaging sizes based on consumers needs, shape of packaging must attractive, convenience in handling, improve the durability of packaging, a package that has no trouble on environment (friendly packages to environment). improve the design of packaging be attractive and unique, improve the bonus pack on packaging such a buy one get one to increase the consumers on coffee packaging. improve marketing strategies, consumers buying decisions were motivated by discount that listed on the packaging.Keywords: consumers buying decisions, factor analysis, packaging element, coffee packaging

Abstract

Abstrak: Teknologi telah mengubah cara melakukan bisnis dan pemasaran dari cara tradisional ke era baru pemasaran. Tehnologi memberikan kesempatan bagi produsen dan konsumen saling berinteraksi, dan bukan hanya satu produsen dengan satu konsumen tapi telah menjadi banyak produsen dengan banyak konsumen. Akan tetapi variable-variabel lain masih mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga,  merchandise  dan inovasi produk terhadap keputusan pembelian Dump Truck 6 Roda di PT. Astra Internasional Isuzu Cabang Manado. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 87 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa harga, merchandise dan inovasi produk berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian Dump Truck 6 Roda di PT. Astra Internasional Isuzu Cabang Manado baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Sebaiknya perusahaan memperhatikan variable peubah dan variabel merchandise yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian.Kata kunci :harga, merchendise, inovasi produk, keputusan pembelian

Abstract

Abstract: Quality of Work Life is all the original inputs which aim at improving the employee’s satisfaction and enhancing organizational effectiveness. The sample size of this research is 36 employees that currently working in Bank SulutGo Branch Office in Amurang. The result of this study shows that the indicators of each variables such as Adequate and Fair Compensation placed in Quadrant II, Safe and Healthy Working Conditions placed in Quadrant I, Immediate Opportunity of Use and Develop Human Capacities placed in Quadrant I and II, Future Opportunity for Continued Growth and Security placed in Quadrant III, Social Integration in the Work Organization placed in Quadrant II, Constitutionalism in the Work Organization placed in Quadrant I and III, Work and the Total Life Space placed in Quadrant III, the Social Relevance of Work Life placed in Quadrant II. So based on the findings in this research, there are some recommendation for Bank SulutGo Branch Office in Amurang.Keywords: quality of work life, human resource management, importance performance analysis.
