Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendalami proses pembelajaran yang demokratis di SMA Kolese De Britto Yogyakarta sebagai upaya menemukan cara demokratis dalam sistem pembelajarandi sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif naturalistik guna menganalisis pembelajaran yang demokratis secara alamiah (natural setting). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, staf admnistrasi, guru, dan siswa. Objek penelitian adalah keseluruhan gejala dan perilaku demokratis dalam orientasi kurikulum dan proses pembelajaran. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah kepala sekolah, staf admnistrasi, guru, dan siswa.Hasil penelitian dapat dideskripsikan sebagai berikut: 1) Proses pembelajaran yang demokratis di sekolah dilakukan dengan membumikan lingkungan sekolah menjadi dunia sosial dengan mengedepankan proses pembelajaran bebas dan bertanggungjawab. Guru dan siswa menjadi pelaku-pelaku demokratis yang membebaskan diri dari pengaruh indoktrinasi dan otoritas, 2) Kurikulum yang demokratis mencirikan masyarakat kecil yang hidup dengan struktur dan perilaku sosial. Menjunjung hak-hak asasi manusia melalui mekanisme sistem pendidikan manusiawi. Aktivitas pembelajaran menekankan dialog yang proaktif melalui pemecahan masalah dan berpikir kritis, kelompok kerja dan pengembangan keterampilan sosial, dan 3)  Peran guru dan siswa, berelasi dan berinteraksi dengan perilaku saling mempengaruhi, saling ketergantungan, partisipasi dan kooperatif. Guru memberikan jalur bagi siswa mengeksplorasi nilai, makna, dan pilihan siswa sendiri melalui agar bekerja sama mengembangkan langkah-langkah pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Demokrasi di Sekolah

Abstract

Career guidance instructional is an intracuricular activity that must be taken by every student of a guidance and counseling study program. This course is one of the subjects to form student mastery competencies on the basic concepts, theories and application of guidance and counseling services. This study aims to examine the significance of career guidance instructional using image-based PowerPoint media to improve students academic performance, which is carried out using a quasi-experimental method. The population of this research is 300 students of guidance and counseling study program at University of PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. The research sample was taken using class lottery techniques, obtained 33 students as the experimental group and 23 students as the control group. Students academic performance data were collected by using multiple choice test forms developed by researchers through content validity procedures, which were analyzed using the SPSS t test of parametric statistic techniques of program for Windows version 23.0. The results of data analysis obtained t value of .312 at a significant level of .756 which means not significant. The conclusion of this research is that career guidance instructional using image-based PowerPoint media significantly cannot improve students academic performance. In connection with the findings of this study, it is recommended that more similar research be carried out by increasing the use of more comprehensive image-based PowerPoint media

Abstract

Pembangunan di Indonesia saat ini telah membawa banyak perubahan dalam berbagai aspek di masyarakat, baik pada kawasan pedesaan maupun perkotaan. Perubahan tersebut membawa dampak tidak hanya terhadap lingkungan fisik, tapi juga sistem nilai dalam tatanan kehidupan sosial bermasyarakat. Namun sayangnya perubahan yang diciptakan oleh pembangunan membawa dampak yang menyertainya sangat mengerikan dan kompleks, karena ternyata telah melahirkan keterbelakangan dan kemiskinan dalam masyarakat. Permasalahan kemiskinan memang merupakan permasalahan yang kompleks dan bersifat multidimensional. Oleh karena itu, upaya pengentasan kemiskinan harus dilakukan secara komprehensif, mencakup berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat, dan dilaksanakan secara terpadu

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to illustrate the contribution of BK supervision to counselor performance. The sample of this study was 87 Counselor spread in Sumatera Utara schools. Data were collected through two questionnaires, namely: BK supervision (reliability item 0.91) and the performance of Counselor (reliability item 0.95), which was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the counselor performance was in the good category with a percentage of 62.1% and the supervision of the BK received was in the good category with a percentage of 50.6%. Furthermore, the results of the study indicate there is a contribution to the supervision of BK on the performance of Counselor with a contribution value of 20.2%. Besides that, the regression coefficient is positive, so it can be stated that the influence of the BK supervision variable (X) on the counselor performance (Y) teacher is positive. The implications are further discussed for the supervisory process of the counselor performance
