Abstract

The Office of Religious Affairs has a role in religious matters, especially marriage. In improving the function, KUA Dawarblandong use the "SIMKAH" website for marriage registration, but candidates must also come to KUA to register and complete the offline registration process to KUA. However, it can interfere with other KUA services such as referral and isbat registration which is still done with offline, because because of the large queue at the time of the wedding season comes and also the processing of schedules for the trial is irregular. From this problem, encourage researchers to develop a web-based marriage service management system with the PHP programming language and Codeigniter framework using the waterfall method and use the Whatsapp Gateway API to receive information. This method begins with requirements engineering, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. This research can produce in 44 functional requirements, 1 non-functional requirement, unit testing, integration and validation to get 100% valid test cases, and this system can be accessed in different web browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Android Browser and Safari Browser

Abstract

Current technological developments have reached all fields including education. With the support of technology, teaching and learning activities can be better. State Vocational School 5 Malang has sufficient facilities in terms of technology, but these facilities have not been fully utilized for teaching and learning activities. In this research, an e-learning application that has a discussion forum feature is developed to carry out the discussion process outside of teaching and learning activities. The development of this e-learning application uses the gamification approach so that it can attract the attention of students to continue to use the e-learning. The system development process is done using the waterfall method. The developed system has 52 functional needs and 1 non functional requirement. Functional requirements testing is done that is testing black box and white box with 100% valid results. Non-functional requirements testing is done that is compatibility testing with the results of 5 critical issues on the browser. Based on the results obtained in this study, it can be concluded that the e-learning discussion forum for programmers in RPL subjects using the gamification approach can be used as a learning medium that will help during the teaching and learning process and also makes it easier for teachers to provide material outside of these class hours.

Abstract

MaksiPlus Utama Indonesia is a distribution company that engaged in fisheries, agriculture, and animal husbandry in Indonesia. The fisheries sector at PT. MaksiPlus Utama Indonesia named Lelenesia has four business processes, including supply, product processing, product sales, and product ordering. While running its business, Lelenesia does not yet have clear and standard business process documentation. There are still obstacles such as the business process carried out in Lelenesia not according to the specified time target. This happened because there were obstacles that hindered the running of business activities in Lelenesia. The expectation of Lelenesia owners is to consider the use and assistance of information systems, business processes can run more efficiently in the future. Based on the problems that have been described, an analysis and improvement is made on the ongoing business processes. The analytical method used is the Business Process Improvement (BPI) conducted from phase 1: Organizing for improvement to phase 3: Streamlining. After get the results of the analysis and evaluation, the next step is to do simulation of business process. The simulation results show that there is a reduction in the total time in the business process that has been repaired, namely, the supply supply process is 169 minutes, the product sales process is 12,846 minutes, and the product ordering process is 1,700 minutes. So it can be concluded that the time needed to run the recommendation business process is more efficient than the current business process in the Catfish Fisheries Business Sector PT. MaksiPlus Utama Indonesia.

Abstract

Data management activities are important activities for every agency. SDN Wadungasri Sidoarjo is one of the primary level formal school institutions in Sidoarjo district. Data collection for students at this school is still done manually by using books or by manual data collection applications on a computer. Manual data management requires a lot of time. For teachers, searching for learning device documents can take 20 to 30 minutes. In this study, a web-based application system will be proposed using the Waterfall model software development method to support student data management activities. The Waterfall model is suitable for use because the application requirements are predetermined prior to system design and implementation. Whereas for designing the system architecture using the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture so that the grouping of system functions is more orderly. In this study, an analysis of unit testing and system validation will be carried out, as well as an analysis of usability and system compatibility. The results of unit testing and validation show that the application meets functional requirements and produces valid test results. The results of usability testing using the task scenario found 98.2% success in the users of Educators and Education Personnel. Whereas usability using the USE questionnaire method has an average result of the feasibility of the usefulness criteria of 98.14%, the ease of use criteria of 96.59%, the ease of learning criteria of 97.13%, and the satisfaction criteria of 95.02%. Application compatibility test results have produced valid test results.

Abstract

Ibnu Sina one of the mosques in Malang has several roles functions of the mosque. To control mosque activities requires deliberation. In the implementation of the deliberations there is a notepad to record all the activities of the deliberations that are still done manually. The Ibnu Sina Mosque consultation information system has been developed, but the system is still not used. At the time of development the focus was on the functional aspects of the system. In the process of user interface design, design is only done based on the developer's perspective. Supposedly, it is necessary to include the role and participation of users directly in the development of the user interface of the information system in the hope of getting reciprocity related to user experience when interacting with the system. Therefore, in this thesis an evaluation and improvement of the design of the system uses the Goal-Directed Design (GDD). GDD is an approach that can provide a system design solution in accordance with user objectives. In usability testing, participants are asked to carry out task scenarios and fill out the Single Ease Question (SEQ) and System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire to measure the level of satisfaction. Improvements to the interface design produce two alternative solutions. The user acceptable design is the first solution with an average value of 6,159 on the SEQ questionnaire and 81 on the SUS questionnaire, acceptable categories in acceptable ranges, category B in grade scale, excellent category in adjective rating, and grade A in percentile rank.

Abstract

The use of IPv4 in addressing causes problems with the growing number of internet users. IPv6 is designed to overcome the weaknesses of IPv4. This study uses the IPv6 Extension Header feature to accommodate larger packet shipments than ordinary IPv6 packets. UDP is a protocol used in streaming applications that allows efficient packet transfer of resources. Large UDP packet delivery requires a large throughput, because the size of the package sent is large. Throughput is the number of packets that can be sent and received within a certain period from source to destination. The solution to sending packets that have sizes over 1500 bytes is to increase throughput by creating a new header option on IPv6 that is able to accommodate payload sizes that exceed 1500 bytes to 9000 bytes. Also can utilize Ethernet jumbo frames (up to 9000 bytes) that currently using ethernet frames, to reduce network overhead. As a result, the new header implemented as the IPv6 jumbo packet header is successfully run on the NS-3 simulator and can send packets over 1500 bytes to less than 9000 bytes as many as 100 packets on a jumbo ethernet frame network. So it can reduce the overhead header.

Abstract

Relay is one of the most important devices to forward sensory data to sink. Therefore, relay's connectivity must be kept well so Wireless Sensor Network works optimally. Common problem in Wireless Sensor Network is relay node placement in a deterministic way is not getting optimal results. Heuristic way is done with hope that optimal position of relay can be achieved. In this research 3 scenarios with static relay and internet gateway locations are carried out. Scenario 1's area is 90x77 and has 45 relays. Scenario 2's area is 60x77 and has 31 relays. Scenario 3's area is 120x77 and has 59 relays. In this research genetic algorithm is carried out to solve relay's position optimization. Genetic algorithm is an algorithm that can be used to find the nearly optimum solution from wide possibility solution area. In this research, researcher used extended intermediate crossover, random mutation, and elitism selection. The results from this research are early convergence happened at 752nd generation for scenario 1, 846th generation for scenario 2, and 424th generation for scenario 3. Population size for scenario 1 is 150 scenario 2's is 100 and scenario 3's is . Ratio for scenario 1 is 0,6 and for scenario 2 and scenario 3 are 0,7. The result from this research is that relays position optimization using genetic algorithm is not as good as using deterministic because fitness from genetic algorithm is not greater as fitness from deterministic and genetic algorithm needs longer time.

Abstract

Beauty products have become one of the many things that cannot be separated from women because of the demands to look beautiful and attractive. These products offer their advantages, there are many beauty products on the market, ranging from skin care and cosmetics from various types and brands. These products have advantages, but not all products suitable for the users needs. This is something that consumers must pay attention to before buying. Other than that, the number of beauty products that are closely related to opinions about certain products in accordance with the parameters given by consumers such as strengths, weaknesses, quality and other parameters, this is what is used as a reference. One electronic trading platform that provides beauty products is Sociolla. Not only sell beauty products, on this platform there are also reviews from consumers. Reading all these reviews in full will take up a lot of time, whereas if you only read a little, the resulting evaluation will be biased. To overcome these problems the classification of the existing review will be classified into 2 classes, namely positive and negative classes. In this study the authors used the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MK-NN) algorithm with BM25 as a weighting. The data used were 500 data which were divided into two, positive and negative. From the evaluation results of the test with 5-fold cross validation, the highest average values ​​of accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure were 51.00%, 50.90%, 52.61%, and 51.70% at the time k = 11.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Diskominfo) Kabupaten Pati has a vital role as the center of the development of the Smart City. Standards in the management of information technology needed to sustain the activities of Diskominfo in the development of Smart City. Seeing from these considerations, it is necessary to evaluate information technology governance. Evaluations are carried out using the COBIT 5 framework. The selection of COBIT 5 is based on COBIT 5 which is more about information technology governance. Meanwhile, the problem found in Diskominfo is lack of human resources. Based on COBIT 5 HR deficiency is one of the pain points that needs to be improved. There is a process associated with this problem is EDM04 which is ensuring optimization of IT resources, as well as APO07 which manages human resources. Evaluations are carried out with capability levels and analysis evaluations are completed to determine what assessments need to be given. The results showed that Diskominfo reached level 1 capability on the EDM04 and APO07 processes. With an achievement level of 75% for EDM04 and 65% for APO07 and a comparison value of 1 with the target capability level at level 2. Regarding the evaluation for the EDM04 process lies 5 points. Whereas in the APO07 process there are 17 points. Then, for level 2 consists of 15 points consisting of 10 activity points and 5 document points.

Abstract

Nowadays everyone uses internet that cause higher traffic on internet network. High traffic causes server overload and service not available. This problem can be solved by implementing multiple web servers with a load balancing mechanism. Load balancing is mechanism how traffic will distributed by using certain methods to optimize network. Load balancing in Software Defined Networking (SDN) handles big traffic load and complexity issues so it improves server performance. Performance of server is affected by resource usage from each server. Resource usage includes CPU, Disk and Memory usage. Information of resource usage is obtain from psutill agent. This research applies load balancing using K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm on POX controller to decide which server will handle incoming traffic. Traffic will distribute to server which has smallest value from CPU, Disk and Memory usage. Performance testing uses two scenarios, first is different rate number (req/s) and second is different load in server. Result from this research showed if K-NN algorithm can distribute traffic to server which has smallest status. In throughput test showed if increasing of rate (req/s) also make increasing of throughput. The highest value of throughput get in 500 req/s with value is 207.3 KB/s. Response time test showed if increasing of rate and load in web server also make increasing of response time. It happens because server receive and handle much request from client. Best response time get in this research is 3.9 ms.
