Abstract

When starting to sell, there are several factors that must be considered before starting to trade, one of which is choosing a strategic location. However, choosing a strategic location is not easy because they have to consider several things and need to conduct surveys in various places, which certainly takes a long time. In addition, with the covid pandemic and the policy for the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), the public cannot conduct direct surveys. In designing the Street Vendor Mapping Application in the city of Malang using the human-centred Design method because in designing this application, an approach involves the user of the application. At the testing stage, usability testing was carried out on 8 participants with the results getting the effectiveness aspect value of 91.96%, the efficiency aspect using the Time-Based Efficiency calculation of 0.091 goals/sec, and the satisfaction aspect getting a score of 80.94, which is level A, ranking Excellent, with acceptable category. Furthermore, User Experience testing was also carried out on 20 participants using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) measurement with the results of the attractiveness aspect of 2.24, the perspicuity aspect of 2.16, the efficiency aspect of 2.39, the dependability aspect of 2.10, the stimulation aspect of 2.05, and the novelty aspect of 1.73.

Abstract

Sistem informasi semakin dibutuhkan oleh banyak pihak, khususnya sistem informasi pada perangkat bergerak yang dapat membantu kegiatan sehari-hari atau hanya sekadar pemenuhan kebutuhan pribadi manusia. Lingkungan kampus merupakan salah satu tempat dimana sistem informasi sangat dibutuhkan, salah satunya untuk pencarian infromasi gedung dan lokasi gedung yang tersebar di seluruh kampus serta rute atau jalur yang dapat ditempuh oleh pengguna untuk menuju ke sebuah gedung. Pada saat ini hanya tersedia informasi dan peta kampus yang sifatnya offline, sehingga menyulitkan pengguna dalam mengkases informasi tersebut. Dengan melihat kondisi ini, maka dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi sistem informasi pencarian gedung yang diimplementasikan pada smartphone Android dengan menggunakan metode User-Centered Design yang mengacu pada user experience calon pengguna. Tujuan utama dari metode tersebut adalah untuk membuat suatu sistem informasi yang user-friendly dengan tingkat usability yang tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian pada tiga kriteria pengujian usability yaitu efektivitas, efisiensi dan tingkat kepuasan pengguna, maka dihasilkan nilai pada pengujian usability menurut efektivitas yaitu 87.27%, menurut efisiensi yaitu 90% dan menurut kepuasan pengguna sebesar 83%. Serta sistem memiliki nilai validitas sebesar 100%.

Abstract

Sistem informasi Keluarga Berencana (KB) merupakan sistem informasi berbasis perangkat bergerak android yang dapat digunakan untuk mencatat kegiatan penting yang digunakan untuk melakukan program KB dan juga memberikan rekomendasi KB yang sesuai dengan apa yang diperlukan oleh pengguna KB. Sistem informasi ini dibangun harapannya untuk mempermudah pengguna dalam melakukan berbagai aktifitas terkait dengan proses dalam keluarga berencana. Namun dalam penggunaannya muncul indikasi permasalahan pada pemahaman fungsi menu, perbedaan nama pada sistem, dan tidak semua pengguna paham terhadap sistem tersebut. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa permasalahan yang ada masuk kedalam ketegori usability sehingga perlu dilakukan sebuah evaluasi. Evaluasi usability dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode usability testing dengan menggunakan USE Questionnaire. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengujian usability dengan menggunakan metode task scenario dan menggunakan metode USE Questionnaire. Didapatkan hasil sebesar 98% untuk metode task scenario dan hasil sebesar 85,55% untuk metode USE Questionnaire. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat keberhasilan aplikasi KBku masuk kedalam kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perbaikan pada proses bisnis pada bagian keuangan Linda Cable. proses bisnis belum didefinisikan dengan baik. Selain itu permasalahan terjadi dikarenakan proses pencatatan keuangan perusahaan dilakukan secara manual pada kertas. Pencatatan model tersebut memiliki resiko seperti adanya kesalahan saat proses pencatatan, proses pencatatan yang membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan kemungkinan terjadi kesalahan dalam penulisan atau pencatatan. Proses bisnis akan dimodelkan dengan menggunakan Business Process Modelling and Notation (BPMN). Metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) digunakan untuk mengetahui masalah yang terjadi pada setiap aktivitas proses bisnis dan dilakukan perbaikan dengan menggunakan metode Business Process Improvement (BPI). Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa proses bisnis rekomendasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk melakukan sebuah transisi mekanisme kerja manual menjadi operasi yang terkomputerisasi.

Abstract

Jurusan Teknik Pengairan Universitas Brawijaya (UB) merupakan salah satu jurusan yang berada Fakultas Teknik Universitas Brawijaya. Jurusan ini memiliki website dengan alamat www.pengairan.ub.ac.id yang digunakan sebagai media informasi kepada sivitas akademika. Namun, website tersebut tidak menyediakan informasi yang terbaru. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan pihak jurusan, ditemukan permasalahan bahwa para operator memiliki sedikit pengetahuan dan ketidakkemampuan dalam mengelola website jurusan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam mengelola website menjadi solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Metode pelatihan yang sesuai dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah yang dikombinasikan dengan metode demonstrasi. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan pada 20-22 September 2021 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 16 orang. Hasil pelatihan yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dosen dan tenaga kependidikan Jurusan Pengairan dalam memanfaatkan website jurusan untuk memberikan informasi akademik pada program studi di Jurusan Teknik Pengairan UB.Department of Irrigation Engineering is one of the departments in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Brawijaya. This department has a website with the address www.pengairan.ub.ac.id, a medium of information for academics. However, the website needs to provide updated information. Based on the results of interviews with the department, it was found that the operators needed more knowledge and were unable to manage the department's website. Therefore, training and mentoring activities in managing websites are the solutions to this problem. The appropriate training method for this activity is the lecture combined with the demonstration method. This training activity was held on 20-22 September 2021 with 16 participants. The training results can improve the knowledge and skills of Lecturers and Educational Staff of the Department of Irrigation in utilizing the department's website to provide academic information on study programs in the Department of Irrigation Engineering UB.

Abstract

In many situations, ophthalmologists prescribe glasses and contact lenses as a treatment method for Myopia. The other way to cure myopia is by performing Lasik surgery or using advanced tools which takes a large amount of financial effort. Dr. William Horatio Bates proposed a promising method to cure myopia with an eye exercise approach, providing opportunities to enhance the availability of low-cost eye treatment that is not easily achievable with surgery and other expensive approaches. However, many myopia patients are still unaware of this method and have no idea how to use it in their daily lives. The rapid growth of virtual reality (VR) technology has shown that this technology offers an affordable and effective solution to provide better health services. This paper expands the result of an initial experiment aimed to validate the utilization of mobile VR technology to enhance the possibility of the Bates method implementation as a low-cost daily eye exercise tool. A direct diary study with 14 participants was carried out to explicitly investigate the feasibility of the proposed app. The result reveals that the proposed app could assist people with myopia when doing eye exercises and the result is quite promising in reducing the refractive levels with 0.13 diopter on average within 5 weeks period.

Abstract

Learn the Al-Quran (reciting Al-Quran) is the obligation of every Moslem. To be able to reciting Al-Quran properly begins with getting to know about hijaiyah letters (the arabic letters) using Iqro' methods. Iqro is a method of learning to know about hijaiyah letter developed by H. As'ad. This method is very popular among Indonesian community. In order to make the learning process isn't boring is required a learning media that can be used anytime, one of them are using a mobile device application that can be used via smartphone. This research describes how to build a media applications to learning Iqro' based on android and integrate it with google speech so that applications built more interesting and interactive with users. Google speech be integrated on a test feature, users are asked to answer each question using their speech then google speech function to convert their voice to text. Text results obtained then matched with answer keys, by involving the user in question features, make this applications more interactive. Results of testing the accuracy of google speech's implementation of the question features stated that on the final test showed 100%, that means it's been as expected.

Abstract

At this time a lot of people who nourish cats. This is because a lot of the perceived benefits after nourish cats, such as foster a sense of compassion for sentient beings and also can help restore a person's psychological condition so as to reduce stress. In addition to maintenance a relatively easy, the cat is a cute animal. However, if the health condition of cats is disrupted will have a negative impact for the keeper because of the risk can be infected. Healthy cats deemed important but the number of medical personnel cat animals is very limited. Making this system can help the work of experts in the diagnosis of diseases of cats. The method used is Naive Bayes and Certainty Factor. Naive Bayes method works by looking for the emerging value opportunities cat disease, whereas the Certainty Factor method works by looking for the value of the trust. The application is built using the android-based programming language JAVA and XML in Android Studio. The test is performed by comparing the conformity result of the system diagnosis with the expert diagnosis. And from 25 test case data obtained accuracy rate cat disease diagnosis expert system using Naive Bayes method - Certainty Factor-Based Android by 80%.

Abstract

Messenger is an application to communicate between smartphone users, or communication activities in the internet world directly by the internet users are currently at the same time. Messenger apps chosen by students to help the learning process in the classroom because, messenger apps can send instant messages to all class members and lecturers who are involved in class groups. Many Messenger apps have evolved in this digital age, not many Messenger media apps are used to support learning. Research on Messenger apps that the authors develop later to support learning. Messenger application's general features will be done separately. With the firebase platform the author wants to help solve the problem with the development of brawijaya messenger application using firebase platform at brawijaya university which later from the application is expected to be used as a new learning tool. Based on the results of usability testing obtained the percentage results of 88.2% included into the qualification of good and successful, then in testing compability generated brawijaya messenger application can run smoothly, and there is no error in OS android version of lollipop, marshmallow.

Abstract

One of the factors which can keep a company to running theirs smoothly is the ability to maintain customer loyalty. On a new company, maintaining loyalty is not easy to do because there are several factors that must be addressed. There is a tranportation company that succeeds in maintaining loyalty which is always use business support technology that is intended to focus on the responsibilities of each fleet of drivers. This technology is beneficial for the cost efficiency that customers can feel. Therefore, the case study in this study is on a company that still has employee performance problems that is Taptopick company that serves laundry on-demand in Jakarta. The problem is the difficulty of monitoring the work performed by employees which can causing some problems such as spend too much times of order pickup process which can result in customer disappointment. Based on this problem, this study will design and build a vehicle tracking application which can installed in various operation systems owned by couriers by utilizing cross-platform technology with portable class library method. The results of this research are the list of functional and non-functional requirements of the application, designs models and explanation of how this is implemented. Then for usability testing of the implementation in building the Vehicle Tracking Application was obtained satisfactory results with an average above the standard that is 83,33.
