Abstract

Currently, there are many small business outlets that have opened branches in many places. With the spread of outlets that are far apart, it becomes a problem for the owner to be in a certain place on a display board that is installed at a height in each of his outlets. Display boards that are commonly used as promotional media and usually show product prices/interesting information are running text boards. In some studies there are those who make ESP as an access point, so that it can only be accessed within the range of the access point. So it cannot be accessed remotely. To facilitate this information, in this study, we designed an internet-based mobile text information system using the ESP32 Microcontroller and the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol, as well as a display board (DMD LED Panel P10). By using an android-based mobile device that is owned by almost everyone and then equipped with the MQTT application, it is hoped that information will no longer be constrained by distance and the absence of a computer device, as well as the limited number of computer operators.

Abstract

Many papers discuss the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control simulation "Perturb and Observe" (P&O), while its realization and practice in control systems remains a major challenge. The purpose of this research to study experimentally by optimizing wind turbines PMSG connected to DC-DC converter (Boost) and resistive load. The proposed MPPT P&O control algorithm modification will be analyzed by comparing with the control method without MPPT P&O at various wind speeds. The 400 WP wind power generation system uses a boost converter simulated in MATLAB/Simulink to analyze the performance of the proposed control algorithm. Modified MPPT P&O control Wind Turbine system with 3 m/s – 7 m/s speed variation at 20 ohm to 60 ohm load, wind turbine power has been successfully improved by an average of 11.868% compared to Wind Turbines that are not installed MPPT P&O. Therefore, MPPT P&O is very suitable to be applied at low average wind speeds.

Abstract

Data center is a vital location that must be managed. The room contains central devices that are essential for operational continuity of the information system. Like the PT Pamapersada Nusantara data center, this room needs to be maintained according to standards. One thing that needs to be maintained is temperature, humidity, and electricity because they have a direct impact on IT equipment and can be potentially fatal if they are not in standard conditions. Meanwhile, the data center being researched uses manual checks for temperature, humidity, and electrical power supply. The problem is the inconsistency of the administrator in documenting these parameters and the lack of responsiveness of repairs if an anomaly occurs in the parameter value, because the data is not real time. This research aims to build a monitoring system for monitoring temperature, humidity, and power outage at the PT Pamapersada Nusantara data center which provides direct notifications to administrators. Current similar studies generally do not include the sensor location factor which is essential. The sensor installation is not randomly placed in the room, nor in the hot aisle or in the cold aisle, but in the server rack so that the temperature and humidity truly represent the surroundings of the device as ASHRAE recommend. Referring to ASHRAE, the standard temperature is 18° C - 27° C while the humidity is 20% - 60%. This research starts from a needs analysis through a survey, followed by equipment design, equipment testing by comparing with manual measuring tools. ESP8266 and DHT22 sensors are used, telegram as system output in the form of notifications. Notifications are sent when the temperature and humidity values are not in standard conditions, they are sent every day at 07.00 and 15.00, and they are sent if there is 5% increasing or decreasing values. The results show that the system successfully sends a notification on telegram when the conditions are met. Tests using comparisons with other measuring instruments also show a deviation of values below 2%. Measurements on the server rack show varying value depending on the occupancy of the rack and its position against the air conditioner

Abstract

Prototype is a tool used as a learning medium that has the same shape and function as the original tool or unit. The use of simulator tools as a means of learning is one of the learning methods that is very well used to find out the components, functions, and how the tool or unit works. Limitations in the delivery of lecture materials regarding Optical Networks due to the absence of modules and prototypes that help the lecture process this prototype is one of the solutions that can be used in the lecture process. Testing this prototype with measurements of damping and power obtained after configuring and installing a fiber to the home network using an optical power meter. Data analysis used in the quality of service in the system is the value of attenuation and power (power link budget) in units of dB and dBm. The results of the test get a good attenuation according to the established ratio. The practicum module is an implementation after the configuration and measurement of damping so that it can be a guide for conducting fiber optic network practicum in the Telecommunication Engineering study program.

Abstract

One of the common causes of accidents is physiological factors such as drowsiness. A helmet is a device used to reduce the risk of head injury when an accident occurs while driving. Helmets placed on motorbikes often experience theft to the detriment of the helmet owner. A helmet was created to reduce the risk of an accident, warn motorists when they are drowsy, and provide a warning when a helmet is stolen. The method begins with designing devices, preparing devices, testing, repairing, and adjusting devices. The main components used are Arduino Nano and Arduino Pro Mini. The input components are a pulse sensor, MPU6050 sensor, touch switch, NRF24L01 receiver, rope clip, on/off push button, and limit switch. The output components are one channel relay, NRF24L01 transmitter, and speakers. From the results of testing the device, the helmet will be connected to the motorbike if appropriately used, the speaker will send a rest notification if the rider is drowsy, and the helmet alarm will sound loud when someone wants to steal the helmet.

Abstract

To invest or buy and sell on the stock exchange requires understanding in the field of data analysis. The movement of the curve in the stock market is very dynamic, so it requires data modeling to predict stock prices in order to get prices with a high degree of accuracy. Machine Learning currently has a good level of accuracy in processing and predicting data. In this study, we modeled data using the Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm to predict the stock price of a company called Japfa Comfeed. The main objective of this journal is to analyze the level of accuracy of Machine Learning algorithms in predicting stock price data and to analyze the number of epochs in forming an optimal model. The results of our research show that the LSTM algorithm has a good level of accurate prediction shown in mape values and the data model obtained on variations in epochs values. All optimization models show that the higher the epoch value, the lower the loss value. Adam's Optimization Model is the model with the highest accuracy value of 98.44%.

Abstract

Information media is an essential medium in communication. So that the information provided is easy to see and read, the media used is placed in a visible place. Nowadays, data has become an inseparable part of process performance. With the advancement of technology, many new information media use electronic media that is used not only as news and advertising media but also as information media located in buildings or offices. Display running text matrix can be used to make the text according to the desired character. Besides, all Work and human needs are highly dependent on electrical energy. Human negligence in using electrical energy will cause waste, which also impacts the cost of using electrical energy. Therefore, we need a tool that can monitor the consumption of electrical power and limit the current use of the load, even if the user of electrical energy is not in place. Of course, making this tool requires a voltage sensor, sensor current ACS712, Arduino nano, and NodeMCU. This tool will monitor the power IoT-based and can be monitored via the internet as a graphical display on the server thingspeak.com. The results of this design can measure voltage one and voltage sensor two with an average error value of 1.75% and 1.38%, and the current measurement has an error value between 0.22% to 3.82% with an average error value of 1.46%.

Abstract

Temperature monitoring using a thermal camera is one type of light inspection that is used as an indicator of the health of a transformer. The system can detect the temperature of a transformer without having to stick directly to the surface of the transformer. The results of temperature measurements from the sensor are displayed in the form of images that can be displayed on a web. In this final project, a transformer temperature monitoring system is made that continues to work in real time to measure the temperature of the transformer. This is because changes in the temperature of the transformer can occur at any time. With this system, workers are expected to always monitor the condition of the transformer without having to make onsite visits. In this final project, ESP32 is used as a microcontroller and MLX90641 thermal camera. The use of a thermal camera in this system is caused by several advantages, namely the thermal camera can take the temperature of all parts of the transformer captured on the camera. In addition, the thermal camera has a range of up to seven meters. In this system, the temperature capture is set at the hottest point of all visible camera pixels. This system is also equipped with a notification system that will work when the temperature of the hamster transformer exceeds 60℃. The normal temperature threshold of the distribution transformer is 30℃-80℃. Or the maximum increase in one day of 40℃ from the initial temperature. The temperature of the transformer's hottest point will trigger a notification display in a web. So that after receiving a notification the officer can immediately know the temperature of the transformer and immediately take action. From the results of experiments that have been carried out, it is known that the results of measuring the temperature value of the thermometer and sensor have an accuracy rate of 98.8%. In addition, the system also works well, this is indicated by the color difference that occurs when the transformer temperature is in normal and hot conditions. So that from the image displayed, the officer can already know that the measured transformer is in normal or overheated conditions.
