Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out about the role of guiding and counseling teacher in overcoming the learning difficulties at M.Ts. Ar-Rahmah East Jakarta. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Source of the data are headmaster, guiding and counseling teacher, and 70 students of 7 grade. Instruments used in this study are questionnaire, interview guidelines, and observation guidelines.The findings show that the role of guiding and counseling teacher in helping and overcoming the learning difficulties of students of M.Ts. Ar-Rahmah East Jakarta in a Good Category. Key word: role, guiding and counseling teacher, learning difficulties

Abstract

The purpose of this study so that teachers BK / Counselor able to improve performance on an ongoing basis that impact on improving the quality of school guidance and counseling services. The method used is to verify the analysis of each competency indicator of teacher performance appraisal results, then conducted coaching performance of teachers BK / Counselor with lesson study strategy. The reason for applying the lesson study strategy is because it is effective, cheaper, closer, and improves teachers' willingness in self-evaluation and consultation with school supervisors. Stages in Lesson Study: (1) plan (planning); (2) do (implementation); (3) see (reflection and follow-up). The number of respondents involved 10 teachers BK / Counselor from 35 people BK / Counselor SMA on MGBK SMA Kota Cilegon. The indicators of successful performance coaching with this lesson study strategy indicate that 90% of the subjects have good and 10% perform well. The results of coaching also indicate that through the strategy of lesson study also there is a change of teacher performance value that the original value is very good to be average. Thus it can be concluded that the strategy of Lesson Study significantly influence positively to the improvement of performance of BK / Konselor teacher.  Keywords: Lesson study strategy, performance of BK / Konselor teachers

Abstract

The decline in student achievement in school is the effect of the lack of attention of parents so that significantly low student learning motivation. The research objectives are; 1) to determine the influence of parents attention on improving student achievement in school. 2) to know the influence of learning motivation to improve student learning. 3) to simultaneously influence the influence of parents' attention and motivation to learn to improve learning achievement. 4) to know the correlation between parental attention and learning motivation to improve student achievement. The method used is descriptive verification method with ex post facto and survey approach. The instruments used are questionnaires distributed to students. The results of this research are; 1) there is influence of parent attention to improvement of student achievement in school. 2) there is influence of learning motivation to improve student learning. 3) there is influence simultaneously influence of parent attention and motivation learn to increase learning achievement. 4) there is a correlation between the attention of parents and the motivation to learn to improve student achievement. Keywords: Parents' attention, learning motivation, learning achievement

Abstract

Mental health is an ideal condition in which a person is not only physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially healthy, but also has the potential that can make people live productively. However, in reality various mental health problems arise in society. This study aims to discuss mental health based on the thoughts of Imam Al-Ghazali. This study is a literature study using content analysis techniques. Mental health is seen as a model consisting of the strength of aqidah, the liberation of the heart disease, the development of noble character, terbinanya adab good in social relations, and the achievement of happiness in the world and the hereafter. This paper discusses various methods to achieve mental health based on Imam al-Ghazali's thought, tailored to the need for guidance and counseling. Abstract

The aim of the present study was to examine the effectiveness of resilience with students of groupB in PKBM Kencana Ungu. The study posses equivalent time series quasi experimental design. The data was analyzed by using analysis of varians or ANOVA to identify the significance resilience enhance. The result provide an evidance  that bibliocounseling was effective to enhance resilience of students who was studied. Keywords: effectiveness, time series, exploration stage of career maturity, career guidance.

Abstract

Data obtained from the processing of persond self-description of the problem before the students werw given a group counseling services are in many categorys as many as 1 student, moderate category as many as 11 students, less category as many as 3 students, and few category as many as 1 student. Meanwhile the description of the self problem decrease after given the group counseling services an many categorys as many as 0 student, moderate category as many as 1 student, less category as many as 10 students, and few category as many as 5 students. Based on the calculation result obtained r² values = 0,22 it means there are 22% group counseling services contribute to the decline of students personal problems themselves. Based on the description above there is a significant difference between the decrease of students personal problems themselves before and after the implementation of group conseling services.Keywords: Group counseling, Self problem.
