Abstract

The research problem is the lack of children's ability to recognize the concept of numbers, the child can only mention the numbers in sequence. The purpose of research is to improve math skills early childhood through clever game clock and method of the research is mixed method of qualitative and quantitative as well as the type of research is a classroom action research. The results of each cycle research shows the increase of mathematical abilities of children, ranging from the first cycle is generally still low after the action on the second cycle increased.

Abstract

PAKEM approach can be applied in teaching science. Preliminary observations on Pembina Bangkinang kindergarten children learning science is rarely done, especially activities to measure and classify the size of the objects have never been implemented. This gap into the background of this research. Research the type of pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. collecting data through observation with the observation assessment tool sheet. The subjects of the study all children amounted to 22 children. Data were analyzed using non-parametric statistical test level Wilcoxon signed by the formula tcount t table, where if thitung smaller than ttabel the significant results of this study the influence of two variables. Based on the result ttabel ( = 0.05) = 66 and t = 0 so thitung- ttabel (0 66). It can be stated no significant effect on the measuring and classifying skills, where the maximum score on the skills of the measure is 19 and 7 on classifying skills and after the treatment is given the maximum score on the skills of the measure is 24 and 8 on classifying skills

Abstract

The purpose of research to improve student learning outcomes using Demonstration in physics class IX SMAN 14 Pekanabru 2014/2015. The research was conducted from October to December 2014 with a class IX student research subjects totaling 30 people. The results of this study were obtained by the procedure of collecting and processing the data as needed in order to improve student learning outcomes, in prasiklus obtained average value of 50.0 with 50% mastery, in cycle 1 learning outcome was obtained with an average value of 67.7 with the thoroughness 80%, and in the second cycle in the improvement of learning the average value of 78.0 with 90% mastery. It can be concluded that the "use of the demonstration method can improve learning outcomes subjects sisiwa Physics class IX SMAN 14 Pekanabru"

Abstract

The students’ communication ability of mathematical about linear program material of SMA Negeri 1 Salo Kampar was low. It needs improvement on the learning system which is done by the teachers. This research was conducted at analyzing the influence of Learning Approach of Problem Posing Through Cooperative Learning Model STAD in communication ability of mathematical of student’ capability high initial and capability low initial.

Abstract

This study was conducted in 07 to October 21, 2013 with fourth grade students study subjects who were 30 people. The results of this study were obtained by the procedure of collecting and processing the data as needed in order to improve student learning outcomes, in prasiklus obtained average value of 50.0 with 50% mastery, in cycle 1 increase in learning outcomes obtained an average value of 67.7 with the thoroughness of 80 %, and in the second cycle in the improvement of learning the average value of 78.0 with 90% mastery. Abstract

Menyimak merupakan keterampilan yang harus dimiliki dalam mempelajari Bahasa Inggris. Hal ini dikarenakan dengan menyimak dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa dan menguasai keterampilan lain dalam mempelajari Bahasa Inggris, seperti berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Berdasarkan kurikulum nasional, teks naratif merupakan salah satu materi didalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris pada kelas XI ditingkat SMA. Rendahnya kemampuan siswa kelas XI IPA 5 SMAN 2 Bangkinang dalam menyimak teks naratif, mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan riset dengan menggunakan film sebagai media. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus di kelas XI IPA 5 SMAN 2 Bangkinang yang terdiri dari 32 siswa; 24 orang perempuan dan 8 orang laki-laki. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa 1) Film mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak teks naratif siswa kelas XI IPA 5 SMAN 2 Bangkinang , dan 2) Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan kemampuan siswa tersebut adalah media yang digunakan oleh guru dalam mengajarkan teks naratif.

Abstract

The rate of child language development at age varies. Proficiency is influenced by internal factors and external factors. One environment that impact on children's language development is parenting parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting parents on children's language development. The method used in the study was a descriptive cross sectional analititik. The population of this study were 30 children. In this study, samples were taken by total sampling. The study was conducted by distributing questionnaires and observation sheets. Research results obtained from the data parenting permissive parenting as much as 36.7%, authoritarian parenting as much as 33.3%, and democratic parenting as much as 30%. The results of observation of 30 children 70% were suspected in language development and 30% of normal in language development. From the results of the chi-square test showed p value of 0.015 is smaller than the value of α is 0.05. There is a relationship between parents' parenting on children's language development.

Abstract

Abstinence is banned or prohibited acts job to do so by the people who accompanied sanctions warmth of the ancestors. The others believe that abstinence forbids irrelevant to modern-paced life as it is today. Literature has a great potential to bring people to the direction of change in character. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The object of research is abstinence which is prohibited by the Malay community Kampar. The results showed that abstinence forbids the Kampar Malay community can be categorized into: (1) time, namely: at night, dusk; (2) place, namely: in the fields, in the middle of the road, in the woods, and in the grave; (3) safety of life, namely: death, pain, and bad luck or unfortunate; (4) based on the cycle of life (5) and occult beliefs; (6) work and activities, namely: people give birth and nurse the baby, take care of the dead and to the cemetery, walking, playing, working, making the house, table manners. The expression of abstinence forbids have relevance on character education.

Abstract

Penilaian dan evaluasi wajib dalam Pembelajaran Menulis semester ini di lingkungan Jurusan Bahasa Inggris Tuanku Tambusai Riau. Penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi dan menilai kompetensi siswa dalam keterampilan menulis pada tingkat semester kedua dalam bahasa Inggris yang memfokuskan lima bidang konten utama: Tanggapan kritis terhadap teks; penjelasan dan dukungan dari ide-ide; organisasi respon yang memiliki awal yang jelas, tengah, dan dua elemen penggunaan bahasa: konstruksi kalimat dan pilihan kata, dan tata bahasa, penggunaan, dan mekanik. Model penilaian adalah penilaian CUNY secara tertulis yang merupakan langkah kemampuan siswa untuk melakukan penulisan tingkat perguruan tinggi. Model ini untuk menentukan penempatan mereka ke dalam komposisi bahasa Inggris, atau perkembangan menulis bahasa inggris. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengambarkan penilaian dalam menulis bahasa inggris dan hasil penelitian diberharapkan memberikan model baru dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis

Abstract

The cause of the low ability of students' communicationin mathematics learning in SMP Negeri Rumbio Jaya Kampar include learning method that is still centered on the teacher, one of the efforts is by using problem based learning model with problem solving approach. This research was conducted to improve the students’ communication mathematical ability. Type of the research is quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental). This study was conducted at grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Rumbio Jaya academic year 2013/2014. The researcher uses random sampling to take the sample. the test of communication ability of mathematical are used asthe instruments. Quantitative data were analyzed by using t-test for hypothesis 1and2, t’ test was used for hypothesis 3, and two-way Anova test for hypotheses 4. Based on the research that (1) students’ communication mathematical ability who are taught through problem based learning model with problem solving approach is better (2) there is no interaction between learning model with the students’ beginning knowledge in influencing students' communication mathematical ability.
