Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena didasari oleh adanya masalah pada saat proses pembelajaran sehingga membuat siswa tidak tertarik untuk belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdapat dua kali pertemuan. Subjek pada penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas II A SD Negeri 194 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 31 orang dengan objek penelitiannya adalah motivasi belajar siswa. Pada tahap pratindakan yang mana proses pembelajaran belum menggunakan media audio visual, terlihat dari motivasi belajar siswa yang masih tergolong rendah dengan persentase yang diperoleh 45%. Masuk pada siklus I yang mana proses pembelajaran sudah menggunakan media audio visual, perubahan terlihat sangat drastis ke arah yang lebih baik dengan memperoleh persentase 75% yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Dilanjutkan pada siklus II grafik motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus sebelumnya yaitu dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 87,75% yang dikategorikan sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas II A SD Negeri 194 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The students' difficulty understanding lecture material is due to the lack of learning media that can help students learn independently. This study aims to develop a learning video tutorial based on the Screencastify screen record. This type of research is developmental research. The development model used is the Plomp development model. The development of the learning model is divided into three stages, namely the initial research, the prototype production, and the model assessment stage. The technique of collecting data in this research is observation and interview. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out to know the feasibility or validity of the product being developed. Media testing uses expert judgment. The validity measurement uses the Likert scale. The results of the validity and practicality of the validators were carried out by using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) test using the SPSS program. The results showed that the educational statistics tutorial videos were classified as valid for all categories and very practical, with a score of 85.5 based on students' answers as respondents. It can be concluded that the learning video developed is valid so that it is feasible to be applied in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya penilaian diri sendiri (self) dan penilaian sejawat (peer) dalam pembelajaran. Pentingnya self dan peer assesment dapat dilihat pada hasil penelitian 15 jurnal terdahulu yang dianalisis dan disajikan dalam meta analisis ini. Meta analisis ini merupakan kajian atas sejumlah hasil penelitian terdahulu dalam masalah sejenis sehingga dapat mengetahui hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitian sebelumnya. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumen-dokumen tertulis tentang penilaian diri sendiri (self) dan penilaian sejawat (peer), serta laporan penelitian ini diambil secara purposive sampling, yakni berdasarkan kesesuaian tema penelitian. Instrumen utama penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri dibantu dengan pantuan peneliti. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kuantitatif dengan persentase dan analisis data kualitatif untuk data-data hasil kajian naratif terhadap penelitian-penelitian yang ditemukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian diri sendiri (self) dan penilaian sejawat (peer) memiliki peran penting dalam pembelajaran antara lain menunjukkan tingkat perhatian yang tinggi terdahap persiapan dalam memulai pembelajaran baik pada guru maupun siswa

Abstract

This research is qualitative research with an ethnographicapproach. The aim of this research is to determine the ethnomathematics of the Panglima Khatib Tomb Building. This research was conducted at the Panglima Khatib Kampar Tomb Building from September to October 2023. The Panglima Khatib Tomb Building is the tomb of one of the heroes of Kampar, namely Datuk Panglima Khatib. The methodused in thisresearch isdescriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach, namely a type of research that describes and obtains data in a complete, comprehensive and in-depthmanner. The results of this research show that the mathematical concepts that exist in the Panglima Khatib Kampar Tomb Building are flat concepts such as squares, isosceles triangles, rectangles, rhombuses and circles. Spacebuilding concepts such as blocks and tubes. The concept of reflection or mirroring. And number concepts.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack higher order thinking skill (HOTS) of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Rumbio Jaya. One of the solution to overcome this problem is to use an discovery learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the higher order thinking skill (HOTS) of students who applied the discovery learning model to students who applied conventional learning. This research is a quasi-experimental using  non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of class VIIIA totaling 24 students and VIII B totaling 24 students. The sample technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used ware observation sheets and higher order thinking skill (HOTS) test questions. The results shows that there is a difference in the average test results of students' higher order thinking skill (HOTS) in the experimental class using the discovery learning model with the control class applying conventional learning to class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Rumbio Jaya. This can be proven through the Independent Sample T-Test obtaining a sig(2-tailed) value of 0.000<0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Testing the post-test hypothesis with the Independent Sample T-Test above shows that the Levene’s test results are homogeneous for both data variances, so the calculated t value that can be used is  3.949 with sig(2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted . So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Discovery Learning model on increasing Higher Order Thinking Skill in Class VIII SMPN 2 Rumbio Jaya.

Abstract

Writing articles that meet international quality requires quite a lot of effort. Mastery of Academic English plays a major role in the ability to manage established journals (Shinta 2, Shinta 1, and indexed by scopus.com/Web of Science). Of course, to be able to write in reputable international journals or manage highly reputable journals, you need special tips from experts in the field of scientific journals. Based on discussions with several lecturers at Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai University, data was obtained that students need to write journals by creating a Google Schoolar account for students. Therefore, an application program training activity is needed that can solve the above problems. The community service team considers that the problem of becoming an international journal writer cannot be solved using normal methods. They can use substitution methods to make it easier to solve. In this case, the community service team offers an easier way to complete the tips for becoming an international journal article writer and creating a Google Schoolar account for students.

Abstract

Mathematical concepts are often used in everyday life. The term that refers to mathematical concepts in cultural concepts is ethnomathematics. Ethnomathematics is a science used to understand how mathematics is adapted from a culture. This research discusses the exploration of ethnomathematics contained in the process of making Caping crafts in Kampar Regency. This research aims to explore the ethnomathematics concept found in Caping crafts in Kampar Regency. This type of research is qualitative with data collection obtained from observation, documentation and interviews related to Caping crafts in Kampar Regency. The results of the research show that: The mathematical concept that exists in the Caping making process is the geometry of flat shapes, namely equilateral triangles, circles and rectangles. The geometric shape of a space is a cone. Transformation geometry is reflection.

Abstract

This service is aimed at the community of Bina Baru village, Kampar Kiri Tengah sub-district, Kampar regency, in order to increase awareness of health, the environment and the law. The purpose of this service is so that the community can know the benefits of keeping the community environment clean and be able to improve and maintain the cleanliness of the community environment, especially the family, as well as providing legal education. This service is carried out through counseling, socialization and discussion methods. In general, the program can be implemented well, on the other hand, the response and participation from the community is very good towards the programs that have been implemented in the field.  Several things can be concluded from the results of the implementation of this activity, including: 1) almost all the fathers and mothers of the new bina villages are willing to take part in public health and environmental education. and they want to follow a clean lifestyle according to the presentation of the counseling material. 2) The positive enthusiasm and curiosity of the mothers was shown by the various questions asked during the delivery of the material and during the counseling, and 3) Based on the results of the friendly communication between the Community Service team and the PKK mothers and village officials, they hoped that similar activities would be carried out routinely. with the addition of materials such as checking cholesterol and uric acid levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh situasi pandemi COVID-19 yang masih melanda Indonesia. Sebagai salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk memutus penyebaran COVID-19 dari kalangan sekolah proses pembelajaran dialikan menjadi belajar dari rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui presentase bentuk sikap/perilaku kepedulian orang tua dalam menerapkan pembelajaran di rumah saat pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dilakukan di Desa Benai Kecil Kecamatan Benai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 48 orang tua (ayah/ibu/wali). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket peran orang tua. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus P = (F/N) 100%, yaitu untuk melihat besarnya presentase jawaban responden. Hasil dari penyebaran angket penelitian didapat presentasenya yaitu 75,9% dan kemudian direkapitulasi dalam kriteria penelitian termasuk kedalam kategori baik. Melihat hasil tersebut dapat di simpulkan bahwa walaupun memiliki latar belakang yang bukan guru, orang tua di Desa Benai Kecil tetap berupaya memberikan yang terbaik dalam mengupayakan pembelajaran anak. Artinya dari aspek peran orang tua sebagai guru di rumah, orang tua telah membatu mengajar anak belajar dan memeriksa pembelajaran anak. Dari aspek fasilitataor, orang tua telah berupaya memberikan fasilitas penunjang pembelajaran. Dari aspek motifator, orang tua berusaha mendukung anak agar semangat belajar. Aspek director, selama anak pembelajaran di rumah orang tua memberikan respon yang baik yang berpengaruh akan pembelajaran anak. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan melihat hasil dari wawancara yang mana saat melakukan pembelajaran di rumah orang tua mengakui menjadi lebih mengenal anak dan mengetahui kekurangan dan kelebihan anak dalam belajar serta membantu anak mengatasi kesulitan yang dihadapi.
