Abstract

A very important factor for the child in expressing his emotions is through language. In addition, moral planting should also be implanted in children from an early age. Language for children can be obtained through experience in everyday life. In this phase, the child experiences a stage of language development that can be said to grow rapidly if the method chosen in the learning process is also appropriate. One method that can be an alternative in developing the language for early childhood is to use the method of storytelling. Indirectly through listening activities children can absorb the information that is on the story. Listening to fairy tales involves adding new vocabulary in story elements as well as moral messages, so by this method the child easily accepts the addition of new vocabulary as well as the moral message contained in a story. Through storytelling it will automatically happen value transformation through the behavior and character of the characters in the story. From the exposure that has been described that the method of storytelling in addition to developing language skills of children, this method can also be used as an alternative in instilling moral in children.

Abstract

This study aims for understand mothers experience with dual role to establish of independence child. Mother with dual role interpreted as a mother become housewife and work. The existence of dual role make the role as a mother divided by the role as a career woman. Especially if the child has entered pre-school age, the role of mother is needed because at this stage the child get in golden periode, window of opportunity, and critical period (Depker, 2010). One of the skills that should be developed is independence that became one of the goals of character education. Especially for working mothers, establishing independence of children from an early age can help children to perform simple daily activities when the mother at work. The study participants were four mothers with dual roles and have children with 3-6 year olds attending Play Group/Kindergarten Program. Data collection using in-depth interview then analyzed by Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) method. The result of the research shows that the mother experience with dual role in forming the independence of the children use of parenting, giving examples and mentoring to doing activities independently, and familiarize the children to perform simple daily activities to supply needs self.

Abstract

The world is full of colors, and the kids love the bright colors. When pre-school age, they also like to use bright colors like red, yellow, blue, or rainbow colors (mejikuhibiniu). Though in this world there are not only these colors, but hundreds or thousands of colors. So when they use crayons that amount to 12 colors, that look only limited to existing colors. They know less or may not even know that from the 12 existing colors they can get other new colors. This study aims to prove that the color game given to Kindergarten students can improve the creativity of children in coloring the image. Early. The benefits of this research is expected to contribute in order to understand the existence of color game activities in improving the creativity of children Early Age. Data collection by check list and observation techniques, and processed in a nonstatistik way or can also be referred to as a simple statistical analysis by finding percentages. The results show that color games are significant to influencing the creativity of young children.

Abstract

The numbers of the hospitalized children in the last two decades have been increased rapidly. The increasing of the percentage of the hospitalized children became more serious and more complex than the previous years. Hospitalization might causes anxious on the children. The children became increasingly anxious and might affect the healing process. Therefore, to decrease the children’s anxiety during the healing process, the use of the book as a therapy media, known as Bibliotherapy is suggested. This research is aimed at identifying the effect of  Bibliotherapy by using storybooks on the anxiety level of hospitalization effect on preschool children in children’s room. This research employed Quasi-Experimental with One Group pre-test and post-test design, and the total sample was 19 respondents. The sampling technique was accidental sampling. The instruments used in this research were questionnaire and observation. The data were analyzed through univariat and bivariate. The findings showed that the average score on the level anxiety before treated by Bibliotherapy by using the storybooks was 23.2, while after giving the therapy was 18.6. The T-test obtained p+0,001 (p0.05), it means that Ho is rejected, there is a relationship between the effect of Bibliotherapy by using story books on the children’s level of anxiety as the effect of the hospitalization on the preschool children in children’s room at RSUD Bangkinang. It is expected for the Hospital to give therapy program while children care by Bibliotherapy by using the storybooks to decrease the children’s anxiety.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the understanding of early childhood education teachers on thematic learning planning. The focus of this research is the extent to which early childhood education teachers understand about thematic learning planning. This research is a descriptive research conducted at Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Se-Kecamatan Ajung. The population in this research are teachers of RA Se-Kecamatan Ajung where the sample selection is done by simple random sampling. Data collection tool in this research by using questionnaire. From the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that the average of early childhood teacher's understanding on thematic learning planning is 76%, so that it can be categorized that the teacher has understood the aspect of thematic learning planning.

Abstract

Exclusive Breastfeeding coverage in various regions of Indonesia is still far from the National target. This study aims to determine the factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding in the Work Area Puskesmas Tapung Treatment District Kampar Riau Province with a cross-sectional design. The research was conducted on June 12-29, 2015. The variables in this study include the support of health workers, mother's knowledge, husband support, mother's work, mother's education, mother's age and maternal age of the pregnancy. Sampling by systematic random sampling (n = 120). Data were analyzed using Logistic Regression Test. The results of this study indicate that the variables associated with exclusive breastfeeding are husband support (POR: 8,219 95% CI = 2,848-23,719), maternal occupations (POR: 5.188 95% CI = 1,264-21,301), and maternal education (POR: 3.785 95% CI = 1,110-12,904). Suggestions for the Puskesmas to provide communication, information, education about exclusive breastfeeding to married couples.

Abstract

Understanding the concept of numbers is something that is especially important for young children. This is because the numbers we always use throughout the life process. Also understanding numbers is the first step of a mathematics lesson, without an understanding of numbers, then a child will have difficulty in the next stage of learning. This study aims to develop the ability to recognize the number of students of group A through guidance program using music media. Using quasi-experimental design used in this research is non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design which is done in field test of guidance program using music media in increasing the ability to recognize the number in child of Kindergarten Group A at Lintang Kindergarten. The result of this research is analyzed by T test formula which is done using help SPSS program. Based on the results of research conducted obtained with sig (0,000) 0.05 which means there is a difference between the experimental group with the control group in recognizing the number symbols by using music. So it can be concluded that the guidance program by using music media that has been compiled can be said to have an effect in improving the ability to recognize the numbers in children group A.

Abstract

An important period in the development of the child is a toddler years. leanguage ability  is an indicator of the whole development of the child. Lack of stimulation will cause speech and language disorders even these disorders can be settled. Long-term observation stated that 42.5% children who have speech and language delays at risk of difficulty learning, difficulty reading and writing and will cause less academic achievement overall, in some cases have a low IQ. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with infant language development at Health UPTD 2016. Base quantitative research methods, this kind of research is analytic with study case control design.The population in this study are all mothers who have children in UPTD Health Baserah 2015 are 1248 people, with the samples using a ratio of 1: 1,  43 with a sample of cases and 43 with a control sample, sampling technique using systematic random sampling and data analysis using Chi-Square.The results showed correlation between knowledge with toddler language development, there is a connection with the development of language parenting a toddler, and no socio-economic relations dengann toddler language development. For health workers is expected to provide information to mothers who have children in the prevention and early detection of developmental language  delays.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the creativity students of PG-PAUD FKIP Unsri. The type of research used is action research with Kemmis and Taggart model conducted 4 meetings. Subjects in this study as many as 40 people consisting of 38 women and 2 men. Data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation by using qualitative descriptive data analysis technique. The results showed that with folklore in dance courses can increase creativity, as evidenced by the observations made have achieved 75% success indicator. In the 1st cycle of the meeting 1 aspect  smoothness is in category 63,33%, flexibility is in category 58,33%, orginality are in category 54,16%, elaborate is in category 55,83%, systematic is in category 57,5%. Second in the first cycle of the second meeting, the smoothness of 66.66%, the flexibility aspect of 71.66%, orginality aspect of 74.16%, elaborate 72.5%, systematic by 69.16%. Third on cycle 2 of meeting 1 on the smoothness aspect of 79,16%, variable 75%, orginalitas 77%, elaborate by 78%, systematic equal to 83%. Fourth in cycle 2 of meeting 2, smoothness aspect 80%, flexibility 80,83%, orginality 80,83%, elaborate 84,16%, and systematic aspect equal to 85%. The results of this study show that with folklore in the art of dance can improve creativity in students PG-PAUD FKIP Unsri.

Abstract

This Research aims to Know Learning Model with Traditional Games Englek As Means of Stimulation Early Childhood Development, Knowing Implementation of Learning Model with Traditional Game Engglek As Means of Stimulation of Early Childhood Development. Knowing the Learning Model with Traditional Games Engglek As Means of Stimulation Early Childhood Development. The type of research is Research Development (Research and Development). The subject of the study was a group B in RA Masythoh singkir Wonosobo. Methods of data collection research using: Observation, Interview and Documentation. The results showed: (1) learning model hopscotch game is delivered with the story with the help of posters, singing together, questions and answers, guessing pictures and play puzzle theme of various professions. (2) Implementation of Learning Model of Kpk Game which can stimulate the development aspect of group B Children in RA Masythoh Singkir Wonosobo conducted twice as many meetings accordance with RKH, the average score of indicators of child development aspect increased. The results of each average of each indicator has increased aspects of child development. (3) The effectiveness of the learning model uses effective effective games. This is supported by the results of t test calculations. He conclusion of this research is the learning model with the Traditional Engglek Games effective for the Early Childhood Stimulation Facility in RA Masythoh singkir Wonosobo, the learning model of Traditional Engglek Game
