Abstract

The main obstacle to efforts to reduce the incidence of dengue fever due to the still not optimal program of Mosquito Nest Eradication (MNE). MNE is unlikely to be completed if community members reached the smallest neighborhood, ie households did not do it. The success of the termination of the chain of transmission of DHF was closely related to the awareness and responsibility of the community to want to maintain the cleanliness of the house and its environment. The main purpose of this research was to describe the public awareness of MNE DHF. This research used quantitative description approach. In this study as respondents were 332 people who were in Kamal Village, Kamal District. From the results of the study, it was found that most Kamal villagers were at the stage of Naival Consciousness. It was hoped that the community is in the critical consciousness stage to understand their environment. So it needed health education through Health Literacy to increase knowledge which then would generate critical consciousness so that society could do empowerment. Abstract

The group of PAMSIMAS (rural clean water maintenance) in Panekan Village, Panekan Sub-District, Magetan District, uses water resource in 2 – 2.2 l/s with an easy polluted water resource preservation; The result of E Coli examination in the water resource in Panekan Village (240 E Coli germs in 100 ml/sample) is positive. This research aimed to create a chlorinator design performance using solar cell energy submersible pump to disinfect the flowing water with an appliance which can overcome the mentioned problem. This experimental research was using a method of creating chlorinator containing chlorine disinfectant and analyzing the performance the chlorinator applying 3 various distance (0 m, 500 m, 1000 m) and chlorinator A and B. The result of the research was: the need of chlorine was 185 g/day in 1 l/s water rate of the water resource. The performance of chlorinator: solar cell, circuit control mechanical box cell, voltage stabilizer, circuit cable, 1 unit chlorine tub for each, 6 units 12 volt batteries. submersible pump 3 watt (chlorinator A) and 6 watt (chlorinator B). The performance of chlorinator A, in a various distance of 0m, 500m and 1000m, respectively: chlorine residue: 0.58 ppm; 0.50 ppm; 0.2 ppm; E coli bacteria: 0; 0; 2 per 100 ml/sample; temperature: 25.150C; 26.140C; 25.150C; pH: 7.14; 7.09; 7.04. The performance of chlorinator B in a various distance of 0 m, 500 m and 1000m, respectively: Chlorine residue: 0.62 ppm; 0.49 ppm; 0.18 ppm; E coli bacteria: 0; 0; 1.3 per 100 ml sample; temperature: 25.460C; 25.99 0C; 25.31 0C; pH: 7.14; 7.08; 7.1. Overall, the result of the research fulfils the requirement of Permenkes RI 492/2010. Hopefully, needs further research to improve both the power of resistance and the performance of the instrument especially for the greater rate of water. Abstract

The family is a system, so if one family member is treated in a critical care unit, then the family will experience stress and anxiety, even a crisis. Therefore, nurses should help the family in reducing stress and anxiety, one of which is by providing information. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between service agency policies and nurse motivation with information for patient families in critical care rooms. The subjects of the study were 45 nurses and 45 patient family members selected by total sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed using logistic regression test. The results show that there is a relationship between policy and external motivation with information for the family. Therefore, critical nursing services need to consider family conditions, so that family stress and anxiety can be lowered. Keywords: Policy, Nurse motivation, Information for family

Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the quality of bioactivator from stale rice, cassava tape, banana bumps, cow”s rumen / rotten fruit, based on concentration and fermentation time, with factorial design. The first factor was the concentration of stale rice, tape, banana bumps, cow”s rumen or rotten fruit, which was 150 grams and 250. The second factor was fermentation time consisting of: F1 (Fermentation for 10 days), F2 (Fermentation for 20 days). Parameters observed were: total population of bacteria, pH and temperature. Data were analyzed using Anova. The results showed that the highest result of total bacterial population was found on 150 gram banana bumps with fermentation of 20 days ie 41 x 106 and the lowest on 150 gram cassava tape with 10 day fermentation that was 1x102. The highest pH was found on rice with 250 grams of fermented rice with 20 days of 3.00 and the lowest on 250 grams of banana bumps on day 0 which was 5.96. The highest temperature on stale rice was 150 gram with 10 days fermentation, 150 banana bumps and 250 gram with 10 day fermentation of 29.5 0C and the lowest temperature on 150 gram cassava tape, rumen / rotten fruit of 150 gram on day 0 was 27 0C. Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is one of infectious disease that is caused by micro bacteria or virus that can cause death to children in Indonesia in which the nutrition status and immunization become risk determinant factor. This research aimed to attain information about the nutrition status and immunization as a determinant of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) among toddlers (1-4 years old) in Bandung District, West Java, Indonesia. Analytical correlational survey was used in this research by using cross sectional scheme. Incidental sampling by having 94 respondents was used in this research. The data was analyzed by using univariate and bivariate along with Chi Square statistical test. The result showed that the nutrition status as a determinant of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) among toddlers with p-value 0.029, so Ho was rejected. Meanwhile, the status of immunization as a determinant of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) with p-value 0.005, so Ho was rejected. The nutrition status and immunization were determinant factors that caused Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) among toddlers. Suggestion: health workers needed to improve preventive and promotive efforts in dealing with the demand of good nutrition status and the importance of complete immunization for infants so that toddlers were avoided from Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI), thus, they could grow well and normal. Abstract

Scientific publications in the field of health are necessary for stakeholders as the foundation for policy making in health development, but there are still many health scientists and health journal managers who face obstacles in realizing the publication of open access scientific articles. For this reason, FORIKES conducts social activities, namely: 1) assisting the writing of scientific articles for scientists and 2) providing unlimited training and assistance on the management of scientific publications through electronic journals. Abstract

Community health centers are expected to be able to provide quality health services that meet the needs of the community. Thus, community health centers need to improve services in order to be able to compete, develop, and grow. This survey research describe the satisfaction of the community as customers for services provided by Jogorogo Community Health Center, Ngawi Regency, Indonesia. The population were all people who used health services at the Jogorogo Community Health Center in 2016. The samples were community that utilized health services at the Jogorogo Community Health Center in 2016, selected by quota sampling technique. Each service unit were a patient registration center, general clinic, dental clinic, MCH clinic, medicine room, and inpatient room, each given a quota of 20 customers, while specifically for community health centers assistants were quota of 10 customers, with consideration that the average customer visit at a community health center assistant is lower. The variable was the level of satisfaction with health services provided by community health centers. Data was collected through filling out questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of spiderweb diagram. Keywords: Community health center, Service quality

Abstract

Background: According to the WHO, ''sexual health is a stable physical, emotional, mental and social wellbeing with regard to sexuality, and not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction or weakness. The objective of the study determined differences in sexual dysfunction between postpartum mother and episiotomy and post seksio cecarea. Method: This research use cross sectional method. The population in this study were all postpartum 6 months in RSUD Dr. M. Soewandhie Surabaya, with a total of 125 people. Instrument of data collection using questionnaire which have been made before. The questionnaire was adopted from the Consensus Development Conference on Female Sexual Dysfunction, the FSFI questionnaire. Statistical analysis using Chi Square test. Results and Analysis: The significance analysis on sexual function of both groups, overall in this study there was a statistically significant difference in the total FSFI score (p = 0.001), in which sexual dysfunction was categorized in total FSFI score ≤26.55. Discussion and Conclusion: It is concluded that there are significant differences in sexual function of women after vaginal delivery with episiotomy compared with post-cesarean. Sexual dysfunction should be on the agenda in the post-natal services, given that most women at that time had not started sexual activity. Keywords: Sexual dysfunction, Post-episiotomy, Post-Cecarean

Abstract

The concentration of learning is the ability to focus the mind on learning activities that can be influenced by breakfast intake as well as hydration status. Based on preliminary study on 10 students, it was found that there were 7 students who did not have breakfast and 8 students chose to consume energy drinks and mixed drinks instead of consuming water when thirst which caused the body to dehydrate. This study aims to analyze the relationship between breakfast intake and hydration status with learning concentration of students in elementary school Pacar Keling 6 Surabaya city, in February 2017 with cross sectional design. The subjects of the study were students of class III, IV and V chosen by random. The result of the analysis using Chi square test showed that there was a correlation between the intake of breakfast with the study concentration (p-value = 0,048) and there was no correlation between the hydration status and the study concentration (p-value = 0,307). It can be concluded that students with poor breakfast intake have low learning concentrations, the effects caused by mild dehydration conditions only in mood (mood) not on concentration and hydration status can be determined by the type of food and beverages consumed.
