However, there is a similar trend between graduation with underachievement and failure indices with higher GPA. It requires a separate study in addition to the theory and practice of academic ability, need to review internal factors themselves students. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the ideal self, motivation, goal, ability, academic performance and adaptation of learning on nursing graduation competency test. Using a cross sectional design study on a number of 119 new graduates of nursing students from two universities in Makassar, Indonesia during July-November 2017. Selected with probability sampling technique using systematic random sampling. Variable observed; ideal self, academic goals, motivation, learning adaptation, academic ability, and competency test graduation. Analysis of bivariate data using Pearson and Spearman Correlation, and Logistic and Linear Regression for multivariate analysis. The results showed that the ideal self has a positive correlation with academic purposes (rs = 0.240, p = 0.008) and motivation (rs = 0.211, p = 0.021). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that motivation (p = 0.019) and academic purposes (p = 0.000) had a significant influence on adaptation study. Multiple logistic regression test showed that the adaptation of study (p = 0.037), and the theory of academic ability (p = 0.024) had a significant effect on the graduation competency test. Graduates nurses must have a corresponding ideal self to improve motivation. Motivation directing and encouraging learning behaviors that affect graduation competency test. Academic goal setting directs graduates to adapt the learning process. Competence of graduates is not enough with just a written test that predicted by the theory of academic ability, but needs to be equipped with a practice test.

Abstract

The main obstacle to efforts to reduce the incidence of dengue fever due to the still not optimal program of Mosquito Nest Eradication (MNE). MNE is unlikely to be completed if community members reached the smallest neighborhood, ie households did not do it. The success of the termination of the chain of transmission of DHF was closely related to the awareness and responsibility of the community to want to maintain the cleanliness of the house and its environment. The main purpose of this research was to describe the public awareness of MNE DHF. This research used quantitative description approach. In this study as respondents were 332 people who were in Kamal Village, Kamal District. From the results of the study, it was found that most Kamal villagers were at the stage of Naival Consciousness. It was hoped that the community is in the critical consciousness stage to understand their environment. So it needed health education through Health Literacy to increase knowledge which then would generate critical consciousness so that society could do empowerment.

Abstract

Based on data from Bangkalan District health profile in 2010, total DHF cases were 709 cases. In 2011 there was a decline in cases, namely 226 people and one person died. In 2012 there was a surge in 397 cases and six people were declared dead (Bangkalan District Health Profile 2010-2012). Bangkalan District Health Office has sought various programs to deal with dengue cases. This study aims to determine the knowledge and implementation of the Eradication of Mosquito Nests. Using qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out during the period of April-June 2017. The population is in part of the community living in Kamal Sub-district. Data was collected through interviews with housewives from Kamal Village, community leaders and Puskesmas officers. From the results of the study it was found that public knowledge about 3M Plus DHF and PSN was still low. Communities are more familiar with fogging and larvacide to combat dengue than the 3M Plus PSN program. The low implementation of 3M Plus PSN and the lack of information on 3M Plus DBD and PSN. As a recommendation, the relevant parties should immediately take strategic and technical steps in implementing the 3M Plus PSN as the main approach in DHF control. Facilitating partnerships between communities and the government and seeking community participation in tackling DHF through PSN mobilization activities. Expanding access to information about 3M Plus DHF and PSN, not only in schools but also covering all levels of society.Berdasarkan data profil kesehatan Kabupaten Bangkalan tahun 2010  kasus DBD total penderita sebanyak 709 kasus.

ABSTRACTTitle: An Overview of Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever Cases in Bali Island 2012-2017Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF)remains a public health problem in Indonesia, including the island of Bali. Bali province consists of 9 regencies / cities is a dengue endemic area, whereas the island of Bali is a tourist destination both locally and internationally. This study aims to provide an overview of the incidence rates (IR) of DHF in the island of Bali. Methods: This research is a descriptive study with case series design. Data sources in this study use secondary data obtianed from Bali Health Profile 2015 – 2017, and the climate data of Bali Province in 2015-2017 was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bali Province. Results: The results showed the Incidence Rates (IR) of Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the island of Bali in 2012- 2017 were 65.5; 174.5; 210.2; 259.1; 483 and 105.7 respectively. The highest incidence rates (IR) of DHF was notified in 2016. Up to 2017 there were 4 districts that had reported high incidence of DHF, such as Badung Regency, Denpasar City, Buleleng Regency, and Gianyar Regency. Factors contributing to the increasing incidence of DHF in Bali were the existence of water container as the potential breeding places for mosquitos vector of Aedes aegypti, particularly during rainy season. This condition initiated the increased population of Aedes aegypti. The incidence of dengue fever cases intensively occurred during January – May influenced by local weather climate, socio- economic condition, rainfall, topography, as well as population density and mobilityConclusion: The incidence of DHF is significantly associated with weather seasonal patterns whereasthe highest DHF incidence rates are found in each year in January, February, March, April and May. The other significant factors are including of rainfall, population density and mobility.

Abstract

Food packaging that provides food labels to inform consumers about product quality. Food labeling is done with the aim of providing a sense of security to consumers without having to open the product packaging. Supervision conducted by the Department of Industry and Trade and the Health Service in 12 sub-districts in Banyuwangi district, industrial owners do not have PIRT and do not know the food label conditions. This can increase the potential for insecurity and insecure quality. Packaging food from Banyuwangi area is for the production of home industry in the form of packaging. The objective of the study was to evaluate food labels in household industries that produce diets in Banyuwangi. The research design is cross sectional with observation method in 12 household industries conducted at the Trade Industry Service of Banyuwangi Regency. The data collection used a questionnaire survey on the results of an industrial sample. Descriptive data analysis, presented in proportion to tables and narratives. The results obtained 50% of 12 household products have met the minimum label criteria in accordance with Government Regulation No.69 of 1999 on Food Label and Advertisement. The lower inclusion of the manufacturer's name and address affects the product in the completeness of the label attribute.

Abstract

Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) prevention and control program has been conducted in Kupang City but DHF Incidence Rate (IR) is always high and exceeds the national average. Calculating the density of larvae and pupae is a good choice in calculating DHF mosquitos’ density because larvae capture is easier than mosquitoes, and pupa is the nearest stage with adult mosquitoes so can better represent actual mosquito density. This observational study used cross sectional study design was conducted in Kupang City as many 24 urban villages or 480 houses during the rainy and dry season and all containers inside and outside homes selected been observed. Larvae and pupae were collected using gamadotik then identified. Analyzed data were using multiple regression logistic test, independent t test and Anova test. This study found 781 containers with the equation model of container positivity = 2,975 lid - 0.192 material + 0.781 type - 3,706, with the most influential variable is the container lid (OR 19.5). Ae. Aegypti, Ae. Albopictus and Culex can be found in water containers both inside and outside homes. The presence of larvae can be prevented either by doing closed and drain the container regularly and bury or drying container that is not used anymore. As limitation of water supply so other solutions need to be taken such as by sprinkling temefos into container with closed tightly to reduce the container positivity 19.5 times. For greater container can be done by water draining or reuse used container outside the home into a place to plant flowers or plants or become temporary garbage.
