Abstract

Kebutuhan akan tersedianya udara bersih sudah menjadi kebutuhan masyarakat pada umumnya. Salah satu upaya dalam menciptakan udara bersih baik di sarana Indoor maupun outdoor adalah melalui pengadaan sarana yang bebas asap rokok. Upaya tersebut tertuang dalam Perda No 5 Tahun 2008 yang mengatur mengenai Kawasan tanpa rokok.Tujuan dari survei adalah mendapatkan gambaran opini masyarakat kota Surabaya mengenai ketersediaan sarana bebas asap rokok. Survei dilakukan di semua kecamatan di kota Surabaya yaitu 31 kecamatan. Pada masing – masing kecamatan diambil satu kelurahan dan sampel kelurahan ditentukan secara proporsional. Sampel sebanyak 501 warga yang tinggal di kota Surabaya dan memiliki Kartu Tanda Penduduk. Sarana yang dimaksud meliputi Sarana kesehatan, sarana pendidikan, sarana taman bermain anak, sarana transportasi, sarana tempat ibadah, tempat umum dan tempat kerja.Hasil menunjukkan dukungan warga kota Surabaya terhadap terciptanya sarana bebas asap rokok adalah sebesar 91,4 %. Bila dibedakan berdasarkan sarana dari yang paling besar yaitu sarana fasilitas kesehatan 97,8%; pendidikan 97,4%; tempat ibadah 96,8 %; transportasi 95,8 %; kantor 93,4% dan yang paling rendah fasilitas umum yaitu 87,4 %. Besarnya harapan masyarakat demi terciptanya sarana bebas asap rokok maka semakin menguatkan pengembangan peraturan Kawasan Tanpa Rokok 100% di kota Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze empirically the effect of work life balance on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable in the Inspectorate Board of Konawe Regency. Operationally the work life balance variable is measured by five indicators, employee performance variable is measured by five indicators, and satisfaction variable Work is measured by five indicators. The population in this study were all employees of the Inspectorate Board of Konawe Regency. Total respondents were 50 people. Data taken from questionnaires distributed to respondents. Analysis of the data used in this research are: multiple regression test, t test, F test, determinant coefficient test, normality test and path analysis. The results showed that the results of the t work life balance test on the performance of employees with t count work life balance of 2.057 greater than 1.887 and significant 0.033, which means the equation of both shows the value of t count work life balance of 0.344 smaller 1.879 with a significant 0.656 which means work life balance has no direct effect with job satisfaction as an intervening variable with t count for job satisfaction of 4.072, greater than 1.887 and significant 0.000, which means job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Introduction: Stroke defined as a disease due to the trouble in the blood circulation which affected by several risk factors. It consists of fixed factors and unfixed factors. The fixed factor such as age, and gender, while unfixed factors including hypertension, blood glucose level, dyslipidemia, and job. Aims: This research aims to identify the distribution type of stroke, and risk factor which affecting the stroke patients in the RSUD Dr. Soetomo, Surabaya. Method: Research was designed as descriptive research to the stroke patient in the RSUD Dr. Soetomo, Surabaya. Various data was collected including age, gender, job, blood pressure, blood glucose level, and lipid profile when patient involved in the hospital at the first time, history of smoking, history of stroke in family. All of stroke patients in the RSUD Dr. Soetomo, Surabaya within October-December 2018 was addressed as subject in this research. Result: Result showed that ischemic stroke had the highest incidence rate in the hospital (72,6%), most of patient of stroke are male (56,2%) with age in less 65 years old (72,6%). Both hypertension 37(50,7%) respondent and smoking 29 (39,73%) respondent are the highest modified risk factor in this research. In the ischemic stroke, hypertension (62,3 %) is the highest modified risk factor. Whilst, in the hemorrhagic stroke, smoking (35 %) is the highest modified risk factor.. Moreover, the highest risk factor in all type of stroke is in age less than 65 years old (72,6%). Conclusion: Number of ischemic stroke case is higher than hemorrhagic stroke. Hypertension is defined as the highest risk factor in hemorrhagic stroke, while smoking is the highest risk factor of ischemic stroke

Abstract

Diabetes is a social health problem that is large with special attention in the community and amongindividuals. Nevertheless, the efforts to spread paradigm of health society to inputsocial determinant ofhealth including analysis and contextual of social factors that are considered out of the scope of the healthresearch is seldom conducted. As a result, the conceptualization of dynamic health inequality of diabetesis superficial. By using a holistic anthropologist lens has the potency to offer insight intothe character ofsocialdeterminer which is wider. The individual factor that is traditionally focused on the health of society andqualitative exploration structural, deeply local context, social environment, and culture, and their interactionand intersexuality, as the key factors, while considering how to reach alterations. The systematic study aimsto describe that culture, ethnicity, and lifestyle have much impacton the patients of diabetes mellitus. Themethod of the systematic study is the article’s investigations which are listed by PubMed with the keywords“culture, ethnic, lifestyle, and diabetes”. Twenty-nine articles are got from the result of an investigation andafter a selection has been done and got five articles to be analyzed furthermore. The result of the review ofthe literature study shows that culture, ethnicity, and lifestyle are able to influence the case of diabetes illnessto the individual or group. On a certain ethnic group besides economic problem, the characteristic ofcertainbody starts from size and shape of the body make someone can suffer from diabetes, in addition,the motoricactivity of the body and physical activity can influence the case of diabetes.

Abstract

Background: Surabaya is facing various urban problems that are increasingly complex. Therefore,innovative solutions are needed such as digital health promotion for millenial and post-millenial as thelargest segment of internet users. The aim of this study is to identify the requirement specification to developdigital health promotion platform for millenial and post millenial generations in Surabaya.Methods: This research used qualitative methods with case study approach. This study used purposefulsampling on 24 informants, consists of several related parties who met the criteria. Data collection techniquewas carried out through in-depth interview and documents review.Results: The requirement specifications were classified into 4 domains (functional, technical, interface,performance requirements). Functional requirements consist of procedures, menus, features, content, data,information, control mechanism, and parties involved. Technical requirements include programs, networks,size, and types of digital devices. Interface requirements consist of visual display related to user interfaceand operating system. Performance requirements include several aspects such as speed, accuracy, efficiency,effectiveness, security, etc.Conclusion: Digital health promotion platform requirement specification must be tailored to the needs ofmillenial and post-millenial generations. If these requirements can be met, the target will be easier to acceptand use digital health promotion platform.

Abstract

Background: The prevalence of smoking in Indonesia in 2018 among adolescents (10-18 years old)was 9.1%. Surabaya has 9,28% of boys who are active smokers and acknowledged smoking everyday. Adolescents using conventional cigarettes are also tend to be interested to using e-cigarette.Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze the factors that associate the intention of e-cigarettes use inadolescents in Surabaya.Method: The type of study was observational analytic design with cross sectional. The sample size wasdetermined by cluster random sampling, in 8 school which includes 291 students. Data collection wasthrough filling out the online questionnaire and analyzed using logistic regression test to determine theassociation between variables.Results: This results of this study show that the factors that have positively associated to intentions ofe-cigarettes use by adolescent are instrumental attitudes (3,035), injunctive norm (2,561), descriptive norm(4,896) and self efficacy (3,526). Experiential attitude and perceived control did not associated the intentionof adolescents e-cigarette use.Conclusion: Providing education to adolescents, parents and educational stakeholders about the dangers ofusing e-cigarettes and restrictions on adolescents access to e-cigarettes should take considered the long-termimpact of e-cigarette.

Abstract

The main obstacle to efforts to reduce the incidence of dengue fever due to the still not optimal program of Mosquito Nest Eradication (MNE). MNE is unlikely to be completed if community members reached the smallest neighborhood, ie households did not do it. The success of the termination of the chain of transmission of DHF was closely related to the awareness and responsibility of the community to want to maintain the cleanliness of the house and its environment. The main purpose of this research was to describe the public awareness of MNE DHF. This research used quantitative description approach. In this study as respondents were 332 people who were in Kamal Village, Kamal District. From the results of the study, it was found that most Kamal villagers were at the stage of Naival Consciousness. It was hoped that the community is in the critical consciousness stage to understand their environment. So it needed health education through Health Literacy to increase knowledge which then would generate critical consciousness so that society could do empowerment. Abstract

Integrated Specialist Clinic of Oral and Dental Hospital, Faculty of Dentistry, Airlangga University (RSGM FKG UNAIR) provides oral and dental health care service ranging from basic medical level up to sub-specialistic covering 8 dental health fields. Based on data from 2012 to 2015, the highest number of patients is permanent tooth extraction patients. The large number of permanent tooth extraction patients is not followed by a large number of patients who return to install denture. The percentage of patience who returns to install the denture is only 24.67% of all permanent tooth extraction patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand image factors on the selection of denture making site. The type of this research was analytic observational by using cross sectional approach. The research data was taken during September and October 2017 at place and time mutually agreed between researcher and respondent. The population of this research was permanent tooth extraction patients in Integrated Specialist Clinic RSGM FKG UNAIR in 2016. The sample size was 60 patients. Brand image based on the composite value of types of brand association of Integrated Specialist Clinic of RSGM FKG NAIR has an effect on the selection of denture making site. Abstract

Proportion of mariner that was willing to take HIV test was under 35% of mariners offered by health workers for test when performing medical check-up. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affect the willingness of HIV testing on mariners at PHC Hospital Surabaya. The type of this research was analytic observational research with cross sectional research design. The population of this study were all mariners who performed medical check-up and offered for HIV testing at Primasatya Husada Hospital Citra Surabaya on July until October 2017. The sample of this study was several mariners who performed medical check-up and offered for HIV testing on July until October 2017. Sampling technique used was consecutive sampling and obtained 130 respondents. Based on the result of multivariable analysis, the results showed that the factors that affect the willingness of HIV test on mariners are low self-stigma p = 0.001 and PR = 3.513, CI 95% : 1.645-7.502, perception of high susceptibility to HIV p = 0.00 and PR = 4.640, CI 95%: 2.180-9.875, perception of high test benefit p = 0.00 and PR = 4.168, CI 95%: 1.958-8.872, good friend support p = 0.003 and PR = 3.022, CI 95%: 1.460-6.258. The necessity of declining HIV test counseling on mariners about the benefits of testing, HIV risk factors, and HIV testing principles especially regarding the confidentiality of HIV test results. Formation of trained peer education originating from mariners to provide information about HIV and encourage HIV testing of mariners. Keywords: HIV/AIDS, Mariners, HIV Test

Abstract

The Safety riding by motorcycle is important, especially for student in senior high school. The save of ride is needed because many student of senior high school use motorcycle to school. There are many cases of motorcycle accidents involve by student in senior high school, because the psychology of those who are still unstable and unwary. These research aims to make safety drive health promotion that’s fi ts in SMA Budi Sejati Surabaya. This research using cross sectional research design. The fi rst draft give pre test using questionnaire, than created some prototype and conducted testing of prototype used sampling students. This sample of population are 40 students and can be through by 32 students. Based on the result showed most responden are woman. The average 16–18 years. Most of the respondents have a good knowledge, attitude, motivation, and action. In addition the most responden have vulnerability feels to motorcycle accident. The media health promotion used poster about the  importance of having drivers licence while driving by motorcycle and social media facebook.Keywords: safety riding, driving licence, Senior High School
