Abstract

Permintaan terhadap Crude Palm Oil bervariasi setiap bulannya sehingga perusahaan melakukan peramalan (forecasting) permintaan produk yang akan datang. Berdasarkan data PT. PP Londonsumatra Indonesia Tbk Turangie Palm Oill Mill selalu menerima pesanan konsumen tanpa mempertimbangkan kapasitas tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghitung kapasitas teresedia terhadap kebutuhan kapasitas berdasarkan metode Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP). RCCP adalah suatu proses analisis dan evaluasi kapasitas dari fasilitas produksi yang tersedia di lantai pabrik agar sesuai atau dapat mendukung jadwal induk produksi (JIP) yang akan disusun. Berdasarkan laporan RCCP kapasitas tersedia stasiun reception terjadi kekurangan kapasitas pada setiap periode mulai dari Oktober 2017 – September 2018. Pada stasiun sterilizer terdapat kekurangan kapasitas tersedia pada setiap periode mulai dari Oktober 2017 – September 2018. Pada stasiun thressing dan pressing diketahui bahwa kapasitas tersedia sudah dapat memenuhi kebutuhan kapasitas yang direncanakan. Untuk mengatasi kekurangan kapasitas sterilizer pada periode Oktober 2017 – September 2018 diusulkan alternatif keputusan berupa penambahan jam kerja (shift kerja).

Abstract

Based on development, the enterprise often gets problem in stock of goods, because has not planning for sales and stock of goodsfor the future accuratelly.Method which be used to determine the quantity of sales for the future is “least Square Line Method” because this method is more significance to the result that be hoped and there is also the past data quantitatively. Stock of goods are determined from the quantity of sales for the future with economic order quantity = EOQ.Based on the result of the research that has been done, where the goods that will be are television and refrigerator with the long one month. Increasing of Total sales for TV = 28.7 %.  EOQ of TV = 18 units/ order and is performed 1 (one) time is week. Increasing of Total sales for refrigerator = 32.2 %.  EOQ of refrigerator = 16 units/ order and is performed 1 (one) time is week.

Abstract

In course of its production, many factor which can make the downhill quality production, especially in shares produce the component of panel of drum boiler, even part of Quality Control do not want to accept result of the production because assumed by a handicap. Defect type that happened that is porosity, under cut, weld beat And over mop, becoming main problem is defect type of porosity and weld beat of because at most happened knowable after. The control map in the world of Quality Control in company produce that is method solve of problem which is usually used in the field of industrial technique to control the quality of production. So that be story level of mistake or product handicap earn in minimizing till no mistake. In the world of Quality Control production company, this method in the field of the industrial technique in application in its execution and felt by result benefit and to the staff employees also represent an advantage to company minimizing cost of expenditure of purchasing of material and working hours of employees in the event of repetition of component work which is equal to rebought new other material , because effect of the happening of handicap produce.

Abstract

CV Putra Darma is a company engaged in the export industry of Arabica coffee. The process of coffee bean sorting is one of the production activities that consist in this industry. However, this action is still manually and un-ergonomic which still use the floor as a working medium. This facility may result the Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) to the workers, particularly in the waist, legs, thighs, back, and neck. This study aims to design an ergonomic facility in coffee bean sorting process to avoid the MSDs, and that is work desk and work chair. At first step, the Standard Nordic Questionnaire was used to identify any MSDs from the workers, then to evaluate the actual condition of working posture, REBA method was employed in this study. The next step is to design this facility that is work desks and work chairs according to anthropometric data as much as 30 workers.

Abstract

Health and safety has been known as one of the requirements in carrying out tasks and a form of human rights factor for workers in carrying out work activities. Lack of awareness and concern for K3 resulted in the existence of work risks, namely the presence of accidents that occur in welding activities carried out on the maintenance of tugboats carried by PT. Margasurya Shipindo like being hit by welding sparks, slipping, touched by hot iron which causes injury to workers. Therefore the purpose of this study is to identify and classify potential hazards, and control risks in work activities at PT. Marga Suryashipindo. Hazard analysis of risk in this study used the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. Based on the results of observations and interviews with 3 maitenance workers and 1 maintenance coordinator, there were 22 potential hazards. Based on the risk assessment, the risk level values were not with the HIGH category, 10 risks were MEDIUM category and 12 risk were LOW category. Control of the above risks is to use APD with the standards of welding workers, carry out administrative controls in the form of the application of SOP welding and K3 supervision to evaluate work activities. In addition, Engineering control is also carried out in the form of holding lift aids and doing maintenance on a regular basis, procuring toolsbox, and arranging tools and materials in the welding location.

Abstract

Melalui program pemagangan ke jepang siswa SMK Mandiri dapat meningkatkan SDM yang berkualitas, terampil. Disiplin dan memiliki moral kerja yang baik,kembali ke tanah air dapat membantu mewujudkan harapan perusahaan-perusahaan dalam meningkatkan produksi.kompetensi yang di peroleh dinegara maju dapat dikembangkan di Indonesia yang dapat membantu tumbuhnya perkemebangan ekonomi melalui tunjangan yang diperoleh selama tiga tahun di jepang yang dapat dijadikan modal usaha mandiri dan dapat menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan demi kesejahteraan dan kemakmuran bangsa.

Abstract

The most important thing in making the employed employees stay and contribute to the company is motivation. The management which is responsible on the matter of Human Resources usually conducts a series of particular attempts to give motovation to its employees. This research is conducted in P.T.Semadam Aceh Tamiang Regency to reveal the relation of motivation with productivity in P.T.Semadam.The respondents of this research are 50 with census sampling technique. The result of the research describes the employees in P.T.Semadam have some adequately high motivation and productivity. This matter is revealed by the disribution of the respondents’ answer to the biggest statement of motivation, that is agreeable 51,73%, very agreeable 20,4%, doubtful 15,87%, disagreeable 12%, and very disagreeable 0%. The disribution of the respondents’ answer to the biggest statement of productivity is agreeable 48,2%, very agreeable 27,6%, doubtful 16,8%, disagreeable 7,4%, and very disagreeable 0%. Based on this answer the relation between motivation and productivity of the employees in P.T.Semadam Aceh Tamiang Regency is influencing each other with its each value as many as 51,73% of motivaton and 48,2% of productivity.

Abstract

Implementation of the supply chain is felt more important and very useful in today’s era  of industrialization. But in the process of supply chain encountered  various  risks that may affect the flow of the supply chain so it can not run smoothly, such as interference or imperfectness  in transportations. This research  was made to propose a mathematical model for a supply chain under the effect of unexpected disruptions  in transport. Supplier/manufacturer offers the retailer  a trade credit period t1 , then the retailer offers the customer a credit with a period of t2  and finally the retailer receives the revenue from t2  ke T + t2 , where T is the cycle time at the retailer.  Under this situation,  the three cases such as T ≤ t1 ≤ T + t2 , T ≤ T + t1 ≤ t2, and  t1  ≤ t2 are discussed. An EPQ (Economic Production Quantity) based model is established and retailer’s optimal replenishment policy is obtained through mathematical theorems. From the results of testing on several cases, the best solution for the two procedures has been obtained, namely between risk neutral and risk averse solutions based on the level or number of items damaged/defective. If the number of items damaged is 2 units, then solution risk neutral is far better than the risk averse solution, whereas if the number of items is damaged 3 units, then the risk averse solution is far better than the risk neutral solution.

Abstract

The development of paradigm for the human resources potential needed indemandsin all areas, notjustthe qualityof human resources, buthumancharacteritself. Teaching innovations incorporated into textbooks is expected to enhance thequality of education and develop the character building ofthe nation's generation. This research aims to know learners gain optimal learning results. The population is allhigh schools inNorth Sumatra. The sampleinthis study were used research and development methodand taken by purposive sampling, namely SMA Hang Tuah Belawan, SMAN 9 Medan and SMAN 19 Medan each as much as 2classes. Experiment and Control Class. Data were analyzed by using independent sample t-test with SPSS 20 for windowsat significance level 0.05. Results showed that innovative chemistry textbook has been successfully improved the student learning out comes. Innovative textbook can be used to transform the original teacher centered learning into a student centered learning.

Abstract

UD. Akbar Jaya is a company engaged in the bakery industry. In carrying out a production UD. Akbar Jaya often has problems with product incompatibility with the number of requests and use of resources that have not been optimal. This is considered a waste by the company, the reason is that production planning is not optimal. With this problem, optimal production planning is needed. The de novo programming method is used to obtain optimal solutions in planning production and to obtain maximum benefits. In this study production optimization has one goal, namely, maximizing profits, with existing constraints such as constraints in the availability of raw materials, budget constraints, constraints of production capacity, and constraints of demand. The results of this study indicate the optimal amount of production that must be produced by UD. Akbar Jaya and the benefits obtained for 12 periods are as many as 14985 bread products, 9969 chocolate bread products, 4128 cappucino bread products, 1151 strawberry bread products, and the maximum profit the company gets is Rp. 7,558,250
