Abstract

News is an information that contains a lot of data, one of which is data about opinion / sentiment. The opinion / sentiment data of a news can be used for many things. To get the opinion value of a news, it is necessary to do a sentiment analysis technique on the news data that wants to know the level of opinion produced. Sentiment analysis is a technique that uses the data mining method. To see the height of the opinion value of a news item, the Support Vector Machine algorithm is used, which is one of the algorithms in the data mining method that is able to classify data sets into two classes. Using the CodeIgniter framework based on the PHP programming language, an application was developed that can classify the news into two classes, namely the positive class and the negative class. By using 100 pieces of news data from the national news portal, namely detik.com, about 700 sentences and more than 1000 words are generated which are then classified using the SVM algorithm. Applications are able to achieve an accuracy rate of 76%

Abstract

Indonesian Government has developed technology-based information systems in their respective environments as an effort to realize public services that meet standards and achieve citizen service satisfaction, and in line with that as the government's efforts to digitize each business process in the government itself. Ministry of Religious Affairs of Batam that has developed this technology-based information system in implementing activities public services at Sekupang office, KUA, and integrated service places. This study aims to analyze the IT governance that has been applied at Ministry of Religious Affairs of Batam in providing public services. This study uses COBIT 5.0 to analyze IT governance in understanding and finding common ground between the needs of Batam citizen and the strategic plan of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Batam, as well as how to evaluate and monitor IT governance in the actual conditions. This study uses two domains: Plan and Organize (PO) and Monitor and Evaluate (ME), based on the results of questionnaire data processing with 106 respondents, and the average value of the PO domain 3.8 and ME domain 3.9 shows that IT governance is at the Defined Process level. . Found two IT processes with a value of less than 3, namely PO8.1 and PO9.1, it is necessary to recommend improvements to quality management and risk management.

Abstract

Artificial neural network (ANN) is a set of units in processing a model based on the habits of human neural networks. ANN has one of its duties, namely classification with the concept of supervised learning. ANN also has various methods in performing its duties such as Multilayer perceptron (MLP). Where MLP is one of the ANN methods that can classify based on data as conceptualized in data mining. Very useful classifications and trends in the field of research because of the review of data that will generate knowledge. Nominal Exchange Rate is one of the datasets tested in this study. The exchange rate of the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) against the United States Dollar (USD) is very necessary both in terms of stock movements and other businesses. So that, it is necessary to use classification to predict future exchange rates. In this study, the MLP method was carried out by obtaining a validation test using MAPE based on the detection rate of sebesar 0.500079879%.

Abstract

Technology has been proliferating and it has been creating a new term in the world of technology. One of the new terms that have emerged along with technological development is The Fourth Industrial Revolution. In line with the revolution, this research has a purpose of creating a smart manufacturing concept that involves several components such as software, machines, and certain tools such as RFID. This research will be designed and developed using software development method in the form of a waterfall method and this research will use C# programming language released by American multinational technology company, which is Microsoft to create the software. This research will be assisted by several hardware devices such as RFID Reader that will serve as a tool that will read information stored in RFID Tag and RFID Tag that will be used to store information needed by system. The output of this research is a software that is capable of automating voltage adjustment of electroplating machine, monitor the voltage and ampere of the machine, and able to aid users on the electroplating process

Abstract

Contact angle goniometer is a tool used to measure the contact angle of a surface which is usually coated with nanomaterial. Contact angle goniometer has an important part, that is syringe pump as a tool for dripping a number of liquids with high precision and accurate flowrate. The function of the syringe pump is to control amount and feedrate of  liquid on a milliliter to microliter scale per minute using a simple microcontroller. In this study, this syringe pump used an arduino as a controller  and a stepper motor as a syringe driver. Casing and the syringe pump mechanism were designed with AutoCAD Fusion360 software and printed using a 3D printer. This syringe pump has an accuracy value of 99.5%, a precision value of 99.7% and a deviation value 0.4 µL which is based on the solution measured using Mettler Toledo 204 analytical balance. From the result, it is obtained that the syringe pump has been used for the contact angle goniometer with an experiment of water being dripped onto the ABS plastic surface with flowrate 100 µL/minute and the surface contact angle was analyzed using imageJ software and the result of the contact angle was 179°. Therefore, based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that the syringe pump can be used as a contact angle goniometer

Abstract

Penggunaan switched reluctance motor (SRM) dalam aplikasi industri banyak diterapkan, hal ini dikarenakan SRM memiliki kelebihan antara lain tidak menggunakan magnet permanen serta kontruksi sederhana berupa inti besi pada rotor dan belitan stator. SRM membutuhkan informasi posisi rotor dalam pengoperasianya. Informasi posisi rotor yang sering digunakan adalah sensor hall effect yang sudah terpasang di dalam body motor walaupun adanya kelemahan terhadap akurasi. Untuk mendapatkan akurasi yang baik maka rotary encoder digunakan sebagai informasi posisi rotor. Rotary encoder memiliki tingkat kepresisian yang tinggi tapi dalam pemasangannya dibutuhkan sinkronisasi terhadap posisi rotor. Injeksi pulsa dilakukan untuk mencari kesesuaian antara posisi rotor dengan rotary encoder. Pada makalah ini diusulkan kendali SRM dengan informasi posisi rotor berasal dari pulsa rotary encoder. Hasil dari injeksi pulsa digunakan untuk menentukan profil induktansi pada posisi tertentu. Berdasarkan profil induktansi didapatkan sinkronisasi antara posisi rotor dengan pulsa rotary encoder. Untuk mendukung tercapainya metode analisis yang diusulkan dilakakukan pengujian pada laboratorium

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia menjadi salah satu perhatian utama bagi pengelola semua jenis bisnis baik perusahaan negara maupun perusahaan swasta. Organisasi usaha sangat tertarik dalam menyusun rencana dan eksekusi untuk mempertahankan karyawan kontrak yang berkinerja baik. Dilain pihak banyak nya perpanjangan karyawan kontrak berdasarkan hubungan kedekatan keluarga maupuan kedekatan kerabat. Untuk mendapatkan pekerja yang berkinerja baik, dibutuhkan aplikasi assesment kinerja karyawan kontrak. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan algoritma machine learning seperti Random Forest, Decision Tree, K-Nearest Neighbors, Naïve Bayes, dan Logistic Regression. Penelitian ini mencoba mencari algoritma yang tepat untuk aplikasi assesment kinerja karyawan kontrak dengan nilai input skill, attidude, responsibility, absent dan membandingkan nilai akurasi, presisi, recall dan F1 score. Berdasarkan penelitian, model algoritma Random Forest yang terbaik digunakan dalam mengklasifikasi dan prediksi assement kinerja karyawan kontrak dengan mencapai nilai akurasi 90.62 %, presisi 72.22 %, recall 75% dan nilai F1 score 71.11 %

Abstract

The fifth generation (5G) technology offers high speed communication systems and requires a multi input and multi output (Multiple Input Multiple Output / MIMO) antenna system to increase customer capacity. This research proposes a microstrip antenna design for a fifth-generation (5G) communication system that works at a frequency of 3.5 GHz. The antenna was designed using the RT-Duroid R5880 substrate type with dielectric constant (εr) = 2.2, thickness (h) = 1.57 mm and loss tan (tan α) = 0.0009. To produce optimal parameter, the antenna is optimized using slit on the edge with a total of 2 pairs. The addition of an inset aims to reduce the reflection coefficient  of the proposed antenna. From the simulation results, the reflection coefficient value is -25 dB at a frequency of 3.5 GHz with a bandwidth of 220 MHz. The gain of the proposed antenna is 10 dB at a frequency of 3.5 GHz. The isolation coefficient obtained is -70 dB with a distance between (d) = 43 mm. The application of the MIMO antenna increases the gain by 49.52% compared to the single element microstrip antenna.

Abstract

Informasi yang terdapat pada QR Code dapat dibaca dengan alat pemindainya. Alat pemindai yang digunakan berupa kamera yang terkoneksi ke sistemnya, contohnya webcam. Saat sekarang ini, alat pemindai akan bekerja secara otomatis jika mendeteksi objek QR Code tersebut. Pada penelitian ini, alat pemindai QR Code yang sudah ada akan dikembangkan dengan menambahkan deteksi wajah manusia di dalam sistemnya, yang mana proses memindai dan mendeteksi akan berjalan secara bersamaan di satu sistem. Tanpa deteksi wajah maka sistem tidak bisa bekerja. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah jenis research and development (R&D). Sistem yang dihasilkan terdiri dari server penghasil gambar QR Code dan sistem pemindai dengan dua webcam. Fungsi server adalah untuk mendaftarkan informasi yang akan disimpan ke gambar QR Code. Untuk akses ke server menggunakan browser, sedangkan pada sistem pemindai menggunakan aplikasi yang dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman Processing. Antara server dan sistem pemindai terkoneksi secara otomatis ketika mengekstrak informasi yang ada pada gambar QR Code. Jarak baca agar sistem pemindai bekerja adalah antara 10 cm sampai dengan 55 cm.

Abstract

Arus keuangan yang lancar merupakan salah satu kunci agar perusahaan tetap bertahan dan memiliki keberlangsungan. Pembayaran atas faktur penjualan adalah salah satu masalah yang dapat mempengaruhi keuangan, jika pembayaran faktur terlambat maka perputaran kas menjadi lambat dan berdampak pada operasional perusahaan. Belum adanya alat yang dapat memprediksi pembayaran faktur di Gramedia menyulitkan bagian keuangan. Dari permasalahan itu, maka diterapkan machine learning untuk memprediksi pembayaran faktur oleh customer, apakah pembayarannya terlambat atau tidak terlambat. Proses dalam data mining menggunakan framework CRISP-DM (Cross Standard Industry for Data Mining). Fitur data yang digunakan sebagai parameter yaitu invoice amount, payment method, paid invoice, average days late dan ratio amount of overdue by amount of balance. Data faktur penjualan diprediksi menggunakan model decision tree algoritma C5.0 dengan hasil akurasi mencapai 71.84%.  Algoritma C5.0 terbukti mampu memprediksi faktur yang pembayarannya terlambat (melewati jatuh tempo) dan pembayarannya tepat waktu (sebelum jatuh tempo).
