Abstract

Allium cepa L. (Shallots) is classified as a seasonal plant that requires special water treatment techniques correctly and precise watering methods. Farmers in the highlands of Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi, mostly still prefer watering this plant traditionally and manually even though it is in large garden areas. Farmers also find it difficult to handle watering crops on large tracts of land and are overwhelmed by not having enough time to care for water evenly. Implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) based onion watering method utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller with the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol, and is very easy for farmers to implement. The MQTT work system implements Publish and Subscribe data. The method and system for designing this tool is that if the shallot plant is 1-10 days old, this tool will water twice a day evenly, the morning and evening. Then if the shallot plant is 11-60 days old, this tool will water only once, in the morning. When the watering automation is implemented, the information system is in the form of a message (on the smartphone) signing by logic 0. Conversely, if this tool does not flush, then the message that comes on the smartphone is as logic 1.

Abstract

The rapid development of website-based applications that can be accessed on various computer platforms and smart phones, causing the infrastructure of web application deployment, especially servers, is needed. This causes sometimes the organization needs to invest in a server. With virtualization, companies can create multiple servers on the same machine, and each server functions as an individual machine. Lightweight based virtualization or known as containers is an approach where the host operating system is shared with a virtual server which means that the parent kernel is shared with virtual servers or containers. The method used is an experimental method, this study measures the effect of a particular treatment on a variable with different treatments. Research variables carried out in the lightweight virtualization system research, including: throughput, Average Latency, response time and Dropped Request. The treatments in this study were tested with 100, 200, 250 and 300 connections simultaneously with 1000, 3000, 5000, 7000 requests.The server service design uses container-based virtualization for the webserver with 2.8 Ghz (4 core) Intel Core i7 processor specifications, 2 GB memory, 80 GB M2 SSD storage, and Gigabit Ethernet capable of handling 250 requests simultaneously, but cannot be accessed when handling 300 requests simultaneously.

Abstract

Inflammation of the liver is a contagious disease that is a public health problem that affects morbidity, mortality, public health status, life expectancy, and other socio-economic impacts. Early diagnosis of this disease is very important so that it can be quickly treated and treated. In this study the researchers will apply and compare several data mining and optimization classification methods with particle swarm optimization (pso), including the C4.5 algorithm, k-Nearest Neighbor, C4.5 with PSO, and k-Nearest Neighbor with PSO to diagnose inflammatory diseases. carefully, then compare which of the several of these methods is the most accurate. Based on the results of measuring the performance of the three models using the Cross Validation, Confusion Matrix and ROC Curve methods. Based on the research results, it is known that the C4.5 method with PSO is the best method with an accuracy of 79.51% and an under the curva (AUC) value of 0.950, then the k-Nearest Neighbor method with PSO has an accuracy of 75.59% and an AUC value of 0.909, then the C4.5 method with an accuracy rate of 70.99% and an AUC value of 0.950, then the k-Nearest Neighbor method with an accuracy rate of 67.19%, and an AUC value of 0.873. This proves that particle swarm optimization can improve the performance of the classification method used.

Abstract

IEEE 802.11n technology comes with many advantages such as high data rate and reliability. In 2,4 GHz and 20 MHz bandwidth, it gives data rate up to 300 Mbps. In order to improve reliability without complexity, it uses STBC (Space Time Block Coding) using Alamouti algorithm. This algorithm can be implemented with many STBC scheme, i.e., 2x1, 2x2, 3x1, 3x2, 3x3, 4x1, 4x2, 4x3 and 4x4 using BPSK, QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM modulation. Impulse respons of (Laboratorium Telekomunikasi Radio dan Gelombang Mikro) LTRGM indoor channel can be modeled by using ray tracing method. This simulation also investigates the effect of MIMO channel corelation caused by channel fading and physical antenna factor. The results, LTRGM indoor channel give delay spread and rms delay of 71.94 ns and 1.5 ns respectively. The ergodic channel capacity declines steadily as the channel correlation becomes worse. This problem also cause a decrease in SNR performance to achieve SER of 10-3 with various modulation. However, this does not have significant influence on WLAN system that uses STBC with four both transmit and receive antenna

Abstract

This study aims to determine the location of the transit warehouse of PT. TG. For reasons of corporate strategy, so that PT. TG conducted a search for warehouse transit locations by considering five factors. The five factors are population density, distance from the head office, ease of access to the location, land price factors, and social environmental factors. The search for the location of the transit warehouse was carried out precisely to support the progress of the company. The five criteria are grouped into two types, namely benefits and costs. Management of PT. TG provides six alternative warehouse transit locations. Selection of location for the transit warehouse of PT. TG is important because the warehouse is an important facility in a company. The warehouse has an important role in ensuring the supply chain for inventory goods. The method used is the Simple Additive Weight method and the Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment method. The results of the weight calculation against the criteria produce an option that can help the management of PT. TG in making the decision for the location of the transit warehouse. One of the six alternatives will be selected based on the value of the largest V or Q calculation. The results of the processing of the SAW method and the WASPAS method show that Sunggal Subdistrict is the best location, with results V = 0.773 and Q = 0.746.

Abstract

Commonly, absence is done manually on the prepared paper. This thing is less effective because wasting time and distract student's focus in the classroom. To solve that problem, this research is using Face Recognition. Face Recognition is a face detection technology. This technology is using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to indetify faces. Face Recognition also can reduce the way that student pretend present but in fact is not. This tecnology is better than convetional method. In application, camera is used to record and detect faces. We used Raspberry Pi 3b as a main part. Moreover, in this research, we integrate face recognition with temperature sensors and buzzer Testing in each component is on average successful and some fail. But it is in accordance with the rules of the system made.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan salah satu roadmap prodi Teknik Telekomunikasi Jurusan Teknik Elektro Politeknik Negeri Medan. Materi dasar dalampraktikum Dasar Telekomunikasi I bersifat dasar suatu sinyal. Sinyal yang diberikan ke sistem atau rangkaian, keluarannya diukur oleh osiloskop dan/atau spectrum analyzer. Rangkaian dasar sistem analog dalam telekomunikasi meliputi filter, penguat, osilator dan mixer. Menurut penelitian rancangan filter terdahulu yang telah dilakukan, kemudian dilanjutkan kepada penelitian karakteristik penguat dan mixer analog pada modul ED-2950P. Penguat dan mixer dikelompokkan menurut RF, IF dan daya.,Rangkaian dibangun berbasis IC 555, μ741 atau LM348 terbaru dan didukung generator sinyal, 10 MHz, 50 MHz. bentuk gelombang dan analisa respon frekuensi menggunakan Osiloskop digital, 100 MHz. Rancang bangun rangkaian tersebut diiringi dengan program simulasi menggunakan MATLAB dengan metode IIR, keduanya akan dibandingkan hasilnya. Hasilnya cukup memadai dengan faktor error bervariasi rata-rata 0,0964 Vpp sampai 0,236 Vpp dan standar deviasi dari 0,070 Vpp sampai 0,0340 Vpp untuk tegangan masukan 1 Vpp. Mixer terdiri dari modulator AM,

Abstract

Data communication, computers and computer networks increase the needs and facilitation offered by a variety of server services that are owned by individuals and companies. Servers are the core of continuous communication on the internet and the main factor in the life, development and death of individual businesses or companies that rely on the internet. The other side is also developing rapidly targeting server attacks from starting to weaken performance to crippled, the most popular in the hacker world, namely attacks by bombarding servers with many requests from one computer or more, with one machine to thousands of machines. This study implements several DDoS attack techniques targeted at virtual servers and real servers to determine the type of protocol used and its accuracy and reliability. The research method uses the concept of Robert Maribe Branch (2009) or ADDIE which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation with the results of successful attacks on the HTTP header on the virtual network and on the real network 85.68%, while the TCP has an accuracy value. 87.75% and the real network produces 90.02%. In addition, the attack using the ping of death on the virtual server was successfully carried out and the real server had an accuracy value of 41.45% so that the attack on the TCP protocol was declared very effective in crippling the target PC or server.

Abstract

The growth of the e-commerce business sector presents competitors and creates company competition. Customers are the company's main asset that must be maintained. Understanding the different characteristics, behaviors and habits of each customer segment is important for companies to identify potential customers, establish important strategies, manage customer relationships and increase company profitability. The needs and desires of each customer are different, so that determining a strategy requires a method of segmenting customers according to their respective similarities. Using the clustering method with the K-Means algorithm helps determine customer segmentation based on transaction history data. Determination of the optimal k cluster randomized K-Means doesn't always give good result, so the Elbow, Silhouette and Davies-Bouldin Index methods are used. The determination of the test variables is based on the LRFM model (Length, Recency, Frequency, and Monetary), so that the customer segmentation obtained is more accurate in recognizing customer behavior and loyalty. The results of test 3606 dataset through the preprocessing stage using these methods results in three groups of customers that is New Customers, Lost Customers and Core Customers adjust the Customer Loyalty Matrix LRFM

Abstract

Geofencing merupakan suatu batas virtual yang mengelilingi sebuah area geografis. Area geografis terdiri-dari banyak titik yang mana nilai titik dapat diketahui dengan menggunakan perangkat GPS (Global Potisioning System). Sekarang ini perangkat GPS sudah ada yang berbentuk hanya modul GPS saja, sehingga bisa dikembangkan secara mandiri sesuai kebutuhan. Contoh dari modul tersebut adalah modul GPS GY-NEO6MV2 (Ublox NEO6MV2). Modul ini dapat berkomunikasi dengan mikrokontroler melalui komunikasi serial. Untuk itu penerapan geofencing ke mikrokontroler dapat dilakukan. Wilayah geofencing-nya berbentuk segitiga sembarang yang lokasinya di sekitar kampus Politeknik Negeri Medan, dimana pendekatan Pertidaksamaan Linear Dua Variabel digunakan dalam menentukan wilayah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah  research and development (R&D). Total rata-rata penyimpangan titik ukur jika dibandingkan dengan GPS buatan pabrik adalah 6,455127033 meter. Dan sistem memberikan indikator OUT jika berada di luar wilayah geofencing dan indikator IN jika berada di dalam wilayah geofencing.
