Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how soft skills influence the preparation of Bandar Lampung University students to enter the world of work. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method. 365 students from two study programs namely accounting and management represent the population in this survey, all of them are 2019 FEB students. The sample was obtained using a probability random sampling technique, and a total of 78 respondents were obtained which were then analyzed using SPSS 26 software. The results of the study revealed that soft skills have a positive and significant impact on student work readiness in February 2019. according to the regression coefficient of 0.832, the calculated t value of 10.589, and the correlation coefficient value of 0.772. The coefficient of determination (R2) for students at the University of Bandar Lampung is 0.591 or 59.1%, which proves that soft skills can affect changes in work readiness variables by 59.1%. Meanwhile the remaining 40.9% is described by factors outside this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of profitability, solvency, and liquidity on the financial condition of 13 Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) listed insurance companies in the period 2017-2021. The sampling method used was direct sampling and data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, review, and hypothesis testing. We found that profitability (ROA), solvency (DAR) and liquidity (CR) have partially or simultaneously had a positive and significant impact on the degree of financial deterioration of insurers. These insights have a significant impact on the financial management of insurers and aid decision-making by industry managers, investors, and regulators. The results of this analysis could lead to a better understanding of the factors that influence financial hardship and encourage insurers to pay more attention to financial performance and better manage risk. This research can also make a valuable contribution to financial literature and can form the basis for further research on risk management and corporate finance in insurance and other areas of finance.

Abstract

Amid the difficult circumstances of the pandemic, many of Martabak's merchants have expressed concern about declining sales. To address this situation, this study aims to explore the interplay between entrepreneurial spirit, personal independence, and business success of Martabak dealers on Antarsari Road. This study is based on robust numerical and quantitative data and utilizes advanced computational and statistical methods supported by SPSS 25 software for comprehensive data analysis. The findings highlight that both entrepreneurship and individual independence play an important role in the success of Antarsari Street Martabak merchants. As businesses grapple with the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic, these key factors are proving to be key drivers affecting overall business outcomes in this situation. By uncovering these key connections, this analysis aims to provide Martabak vendors with valuable insights to help them manage uncertainty in the pandemic era and adjust their strategies for lasting success.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected many countries, including Indonesia in 2020. As an infectious disease that attacks the respiratory system, Covid-19 has put great pressure on micro businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), especially in the wake of the Covid-19 emergency. forced. This study focuses on the Balinese cultural umbrella industry in Seputih Raman, Central Lampung, which has seen significant changes during the pandemic. Qualitative methods were used with interviews and direct observations of business owners. The results of the study show that the income of Bali's culturally peak MSMEs has dropped significantly during the pandemic period due to travel restrictions and reduced tourism activities. Faced with the post-pandemic situation, Bali cultural patronage MSMEs need to adjust their business strategies, look for new opportunities and increase their competitiveness. Government support and cooperation with stakeholders is seen as vital to support future recovery and growth of the MSME sector.

Abstract

Poverty is a classic topic of discussion but interesting because the problem of poverty has not been resolved. This study analyzes the role of the human development index, GRDP and unemployment on the poverty rate in the Districts/Cities of Aceh Province. Using the panel data analysis method with time series for 2018-2022 and cross sections of 23 districts/cities in Aceh province. The results showed that GRDP and unemployment had a positive effect on the poverty rate, but the HDI had no effect on the poverty rate. Thus, it can be said that the government must strive to reduce inter-regional disparities, support labour-intensive, targeted, and direct investments in the real sector, and involve all stakeholders.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of two independent variables, customer evaluation and perceived risk, on Shopee users' purchasing decisions. These are factors that deserve attention in the digital age because they have great potential to influence consumer behavior when shopping on the Shopee platform. Research subjects include classmates from the Faculty of Economics of Bandar Lampung University, Class of 2019. The research sample used is 107 respondents and the sampling is done according to Slovin's formula to ensure the level of study. representation of the data. Collected data were analyzed by the method of coefficient of determination analysis and tested by t-test and F-test to test the research hypothesis. Research results show that customer reviews and perceived risk have a significant influence on the purchasing decision of Shopee users. These results provide valuable information for sellers on the Shopee platform so that they can better understand the importance of product quality assessments from customers and the perceived risk. influence consumers' purchasing decisions. While the results of this study provide relevant insights, the study also recognizes that there are other factors that can influence shopping behavior at Shopee. Therefore, other variables should be included in further research for a more comprehensive understanding of consumer buying behavior in the e-commerce environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of discipline and work motivation on the performance of employees at Addiction Coffee. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis with 30 employees as respondents. The data collection is done by questionnaire or questionnaire then processed by SPSS statistical software version 29. The results show that the work discipline variable has a positive impact on the work efficiency of the employees. staff, however, this effect was not statistically significant. On the contrary, the change in work motivation was found to have a clear positive effect and play an important role in improving the working efficiency of employees at Addi Coffee. The conclusion of this study confirms that work motivation has a greater influence on employee performance than work discipline. Therefore, to improve employee performance, Adiksi Coffee can further focus on developing strategies and programs to encourage and maintain employees' high work motivation.

Abstract

The rapid development of the business world during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in the service sector, has had a positive impact on DM Parcel, a Sultan Agung Street No. 52 Kedaton Bandar Lampung and was established in 2018. The company has an organizational structure of 1 owner and 4 employees, and implements a corporate culture that emphasizes creativity, service, and innovation. customer satisfaction. This study focuses on the influence of three factors, service quality (X1), price (X2) and location (X3) on customer satisfaction (Y). The analytical method used is quantitative analysis. The results of data analysis show that service quality has a significant influence on customer satisfaction with DM Parcel. However, price and location did not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. In addition, it was found that there is a significant influence between service quality, price, and location on DM Parcel customer satisfaction. This finding could be a benchmark for DM Parcel in improving its marketing and service strategies to increase customer satisfaction. Furthermore, this study also contributes to understanding the factors affecting consumer satisfaction in the service industry during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the effectiveness of using the Indonesian Quick Response Code (QRIS) standard to increase revenue in three small and medium enterprises, KL Coffe, Kopi Ketjeh and Marley's Kedaton in Bandar Lampung City. This study uses a qualitative approach using the theory of planned behavior as a basis for formulating interview questions and data analysis. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with three relevant business actors (MSMEs). The data were then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the use of the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS) significantly increased the revenue of the studied SMEs.

Abstract

This study was conducted at PT. Agri Lestari to study the impact of training and work motivation on employee performance. The research method used is quantitative using a variety of linear analysis techniques. The study respondents were 50 employees from PT's production team. Agri Lestari Nusantara, selected by saturation sampling. Data checking was performed using SPSS 26.0 software. The results of data analysis show that training has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. In addition, work motivation also has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. At the same time, training and motivation at work has a positive and significant impact on employees. This study provides valuable information for PT. Agri Lestari in improving employee performance through training efforts and increasing work motivation.
