Abstract

The objectives of the study were to determine (1) the influence of family income and food intake on the nutritional status of children, (2) family income level on nutritional status of children, (3) food intake on child nutritional status, (4) description of income level of family, and nutritional status. The type of research is ex-post facto. Sampling using propotional random sampling. Data collection methods are questionnaire, anthropometry, food recall and food frequency. Instruments tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using descriptive and correlational analysis. The result of research showed that positive and significant effect of income and food intake on child nutritional status, Freg = 6,053> Ftabel = 3,17, (2) family income level to child nutrition status, rcount 0,288> rtabel = 0,259, (3) food intake on nutritional status, rcount = 0,324> rtabel = 0,259; (4) The level of family income, food intake, and nutritional status in sufficient category.Keywords: income level, food intake, nutritional status.

Abstract

The purpose of this study analyzed the influenceof family business on welfare. This research isan ex-post facto research with data collectionmethod using questionnaire and documentation.The research population is the family in KepekWonosari Village Gunungkidul who develop abusiness. The sampling technique usedproportional random sampling. Data analysistechniques using descriptive analysis techniquesand hypothesis test using Product Momentcorrelation test preceded test prerequisiteanalysis, the test of normality and linearity. Theresults showed there was a positive andsignificant influence of family business on theirwelfare. The business developed by the familycan increase the welfare of 35.1%. The familybusiness developed in Kepek Wonosari Villageplays a very big role in promoting the welfare ofthe community, so the more creative andinnovative in developing its potential throughentrepreneurship, such as trading to improvethe welfare of his family life.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe (1) the nutrient knowledge, (2) the choice of menu, and (3)correlation between nutrient knowledge withthe choice of menu among the students of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University in Asmadewa Hostel of Yogyakarta. This study was expost facto. Data colleting methods used questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzingmethods used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using Product Moment that wasstarted by normality and linearity test. Thisstudy shows that the nutrient knowledge was inhigh category with the relative frequency 70.5%and the choice of menu was in high categorywith relative frequency 70.49%. Based on theresult of Product Moment, the score of rxy was0,642. The score of r table in the significantlevel 5% for total respondents 135 was 0.254((rxy 0,642 > r table 0,254). It could be statedthere was a positive and significant correlationbetween nutrient knowledge with the choice ofmenu. The determinant coefficient (R2) was0.416, it means that nutrient knowledge gavecontribution for about 41.6% toward the choiceof menu, while 58.4% was influenced by otherfactors that were not discussed in this study;such as location of the restorant, willing, andeconomic level.

Abstract

Abstract

This research generally try to determine  the effect of natural fixator from noni root   extract to dye coloring technique. The         hypothesis of this research is : There are     positive effect and significant between noni root extract in terms of color fading resistance. This research was conducted on laboratory. The population of this research was : dyeing, noni root extract, lime fixator and quicklime. Data collecting through the experiment.      Data analysis using the grey scale based        on SNI. The result shows that there are positive effect and significant because the fixator has a good resistance against the color fading on noni root extract through the ironing process. Visually, dyeing result without fixation produce a dull brown color, lime fixator tend to produce a yellowish brown and quicklime fixator tend to produce a reddish brown color.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the influence of the use of internet toward learning achievement of fashion design, the use of internet, and  learning achievement of fashion design. This study was ex-post, facto.Student research subjects SMK N 4 Yogyakarta. Data colleting methods used questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzing methods used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using Product Moment that was started by normality and linearity test.  This study shows that the use of internet was in enough category with the percentage 64.29% and learning achievement of fashion design was in high category with relative frequency 62.86%. Based on the result of Product Moment, the score of rxy was 0,518. The score of r table in the significant level 5% for total respondents 70 was 0.235 (rxy 0,518 > r table 0,235). It could be stated there was a positive and significant influence of the use of internet toward learning achievement of fashion design. The determinant coefficient (R2) was 0.268, it means that the use of internet gave contribution for about 26.8%, while 73.2% was influenced by other factors  Key words: the use of internet, learning achievement of fashion design.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to know the task-based method to improve the students’ achievement  in local content PKK of the seventh grade students. The type of the research is a classroom action research. The population is 188 students, consisting of all students at the seventh grade of SMPN 2 Kutasasri. The sampling technique  is purposive random sampling by class VII D as a sample. The data are collected by test. To analyze the data, it uses descriptive quantitative analysis. The result show that the effort of  teacher in improving the students achievement through task based method for the seventh grade students is categorized gog. It means that the implementation of the method is effective. The average score of post test is 74.58 with students. Complete learning above 70 meaning that it has met the expectation of the researcher.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is toimprove students' learning achievement of SMPNegeri 1 Pulokulon Grobogan Regency CentralJava Province with inquiry based method on thesubject Local content of dressing skills. Thisresearch includes a classroom action researchconsisting of planning, action, observation, andreflection. The subjects of the study were thestudents of class VIII A. Techniques of datacollection using the method of documentation,test, observation. The technique of data analysisusing a descriptive method by comparingstudent learning outcomes before action andafter an action. The results of the research inthe first cycle obtained 35% of students arecomplete and 65% of students have not beencompleted. In the second cycle do someimprovements in the process of implementationof learning guided inquiry based trainingmethod (guided inquiry). Data cycle II resultsobtained 100% increase in students complete, orlearning outcomes meet the standard value

Abstract

This paper aimed to know (1) hygieneand sanitation knowledge, (2) family healthfood service, and (3) the influence of hygieneand sanitation knowledge toward familyhealth food service among the elementaryschool teachers of teacher working groupsKeling District Jepara. The type of this paperwas ex-post facto. Data collection techniquesused questionnaire and documentation. Dataanalysis technique used descriptive analysisand hypothesis testing by using Product Moment correlation that was started by normality and linearity test. This paper shows thathygiene and sanitation knowledge was inenough category with the percentage 48.62%and family health food service was in enoughcategory with the percentage 63.89%. Basedon the analysis, the score of rxy was 0.408.The score of r table in the significant level 5%for total respondents 75 was 0.235 (rxy0,408> r table 0,235). It means that there wasa positive and significant influence of hygiene and sanitation knowledge toward family health food service among the elementaryschool teachers of teacher working groupsKeling District Jepara. The score of determinant coefficient (R2) was 0.166, it means thathygiene and sanitation knowledge gave apositive contribution 16.6% toward familyhealth food service, while 83.4% was influenced by other factors that were not analyzedin this paper.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know 1) Food comsumption of kid,   2) Nutrionalstatus of kid, 3) The influence of food consumption and nutritional status of kid in Elementary School Muhammadiyah Parakan Temanggung. The type of the research is ex-post facto. The method to collect the data is done by questionnaire as variable of food consumption, documentation to taking data of student and observation as variable of nutritional status of kid. Data analysis techniques descriptive analysis and hypothesis test used product moment correlation begun by prerequisite analysis, that is normality and linearity examination. The results show  that food consumption is  categorized fair by relative frequency 50,90%, and the nutritional status is fine by relative frequency 40,01%. Based on correlation test, the score of rxy was 0,268. The score of r table in the significant level 5% for total respondents 55 was 0,266 (rxy 0,268> r table 0,266). It means that there was a positive and significant of food consumption and nutritional status of kid. The score of determinant coefficient (R2) was 0,0718, it means that food consumtion and nutritional status gave a positive contribution 7,18% while 92,82% was example education Key word : Food consumption, Nutrional status
