Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The understanding of Grade X fashion students in using the Ibis Paint X application; (2) The learning outcomes of fashion illustration among Grade X fashion students; and (3) The effect of using the Ibis Paint X application on students' learning outcomes in the fashion illustration element.This research is a quantitative study. The population consisted of 144 students. The sample size was determined using the slovin formula, resulting in a total of 65 students. Data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis.The results of the study indicate that: (1) The use of the Ibis Paint X application falls into the high classification, with a relative frequency of 83.08%; (2) The learning outcomes in fashion illustration are classified as developing, with a relative frequency of 90.77%; (3) There is a positive and significant effect of using variable X on variable Y, with a calculated correlation coefficient (r) of 0.725 > r table value of 0.244, and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.526. This indicates that the contribution of variable X to variable Y is 52.6%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence job readiness in the fashion industry in terms of internal and external factors. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire/questionnaire and documentation. The instrument trial was conducted on 30 students outside the sample but still in the same population. The data were tested for validity using the Product Moment correlation formula, with the result that 4 items were declared invalid, and for reliability using the Cronbach's Alpha formula, with the result that the obtained Alpha value = 0,944. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that the factors affecting job readiness in the fashion industry were in the high category, with a relative frequency of 48.15%. Internal factors and external factors that affect work readiness in the fashion industry are in the high category, with internal factors having a relative frequency of 48,19%, while external factors have a relative frequency of 40,74%.It can be concluded that internal factors most influence job readiness in the fashion industry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence traditional food consumption patterns in adolescents in the Dhawe Nagekeo Village, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques using questionnaires/questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical techniques by calculating the Mean, Median, mode, and Standard Deviation. Factors that influence traditional food consumption patterns consist of economic factors, socio-cultural factors, religious factors, educational factors, and environmental factors. The results showed that the factors that influence traditional food consumption patterns are in the high category with a relative frequency of 50%. Economic factors are in the high category with a relative frequency of 48.21%, socio-cultural factors are in the high category with a relative frequency of 50%, religious factors are in the high category with a relative frequency of 53.57%, educational factors are in the high category with a relative frequency of 46.43%, and environmental factors in the high category with a relative frequency of 55.36%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) The effect of learning with learning media modules on students' learning interests; (2) The learning process uses learning module media; (3) students' interest in learning in the implementation of learning, in terms of the use of learning media modules. This type of research is a quantitative approach that is ex-post facto. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and correlation analysis. The results showed that (1) there was a positive and significant effect of the use of module learning media on interest in learning, the value of rcount = 0.790 > rtable = 0.308; (2) The use of module learning media is in the moderate category with a relative frequency of 61%; (3) Learning interest is low with a frequency of 49%, thus, the use of module learning media influences students' learning interest in the basic elements of class XI clothing at SMK Negeri 1 Pandak Bantul Yogyakarta. Abstract

The objectives of this study were to determine: (1) the steps for developinga jobsheet for making a tote bag with a corsage embellishment; (2) thefeasibility of the jobsheet as a learning medium; and (3) student responsesregarding the use of the jobsheet. This study employed a Research andDevelopment (R&D) approach. Data were collected via questionnaires andanalyzed using percentages. The results showed that: (1) the jobsheet wasdeveloped following seven stages of Sugiyono’s development model; (2) thejobsheet was deemed feasible for use as a learning medium, falling into the"very good" category; and (3) regarding student interest, 82.2% of thehearing-impaired students strongly agreed and 17.8% agreed with the use of the material; thus, it was concluded that using the jobsheet for making atote bag with a corsage embellishment could enhance learning interest inthe fashion skills subject among hearing-impaired students at SMALBNegeri 1 Bantul, Yogyakarta.

Abstract

The purpose to determine the effect of using soy bean flour substitution and the level of public preference for the quality of soy bean flour substitution brownies 15%, 30%, 45% in terms of color, taste, aroma, and texture. This research includes the type of experimental research. The design of this research is pure experiment with Posttest-Only Control Design. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used One Way Anova and Tukey, Duncan test. The results showed (1) there was an effect of soy bean flour substitution with a percentage of 15%, 30% and 45% on the quality of dry brownies in terms of color, taste, aroma, and texture both together and partially with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The highest influence was on color, taste, aroma, and texture of dry brownies with 15% soybean flour substitution. (2) The results of the analysis of the level of preference showed that most of the panelists and experts liked the color, taste, aroma, and texture of dry brownies with 15% soybean flour substitution compared to 30% and 45%. The results of the analysis showed that most of the responses liked the taste and texture of dry brownies with 15% soybean flour substitution. Keywords: substitution, soybean flour, brownies

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) Learning Motivation of Class X Students; 2) Class X Student Learning Outcomes; 3) The Effect of Learning Motivation on Learning Outcomes in Basic Culinary Subjects in Class X Students. The population of this study was 216 students in class X catering, a sample of 68 was determined using the Slovin formula. Data collection uses questionnaires and documentation. Instrument trials were conducted on 30 respondents outside the sample. The results of the validity test obtained 24 valid items and 1 invalid item. Test the hypothesis using the product moment correlation. Reliability test with alpha cronbach 0.752. The research results show that; 1) The learning motivation of class X students in the Medium category with a relative frequency of 29% 2) The learning outcomes of class X students in the very high category with a relative frequency of 100% 3) there is a positive influence between learning motivation on student learning outcomes in class X with a value of r_count 0.784 > r_(table )0,235. The coefficient of determination R^2 = 0.244 (24.4%) while the rest (75.6%) is influenced by other factors not discussed in the study. Keywords: Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes, kulinery basis

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to develop learning media based on video tutorials for making skirt patterns in basic subjects; media appropriateness; and student responses. This type of research is research and development Research and Development (R&D). Data collection methods use interviews, observation, documentation. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results of this research are learning media for video tutorials on making facing pleated skirt patterns for construction systems with video product specifications with a duration of 19 minutes, in the section explaining the tools and materials for making facing pleated skirt patterns with pictures as well as the process of making basic skirt patterns and changing models which can be accessed via link. Learning media based on video tutorials for making pleated skirt patterns facing a construction system with a scale of ¼ in the very suitable category based on a material assessment of 93.5% and a media expert assessment of 100%. Student responses showed a very feasible category with a small-scale trial presentation of 85% and a limited-scale trial percentage obtained at 85%.
