The objective of this research is to obtain information on the effect of working environment, job Characteristic and job motivation to job satisfaction. The population of this research is the Lecture Jambi University. The total number of the research sample was 273 Official Member of Lecture Jambi University and they were taken randomly. Data analysis technique was used path analisys with SPSS and LISREL program.The formulation of this research are: 1) Is the work environment (X1) directly influence the work motivation (X3),2) Is the work environment (X1) directly influence job satisfaction (Y), 3) Is the Job Characteristics (X2) directly influence the work motivation (X3), 4) Is the Job Characteristics (X2) directly influence job satisfaction (Y), 5) Is the work motivation (X3) directly influence job satisfaction (Y) 6). Is the work environment (X1) indirect effect on job satisfaction (Y) but the first direct effect on work motivation (X3) 7). Is the Job Characteristics (X2) indirect effect on job satisfaction (Y) but the first direct effect on work motivation (X3).Based on the above formula, it can be presumed that that job satisfaction can be explained by the variable work motivation, job characteristics, and work environment.Keywords : working environment, job characteristic And job motivation to job satisfaction

The need to develop models of learning dance at school Teacher Education students (PGSD) due to the learning model used has not been optimally achieve the expected learning. The results of discussions with the students explained that the measures were implemented learning model can not push the imagination to express motions creatively, students tend to imitate because there is no practical guidelines that help in creative expression. Based on this, is necessary to develop a creative dance learning model to address learning problems PGSD dance students. Referring to the theories put forward, component design study model for PGSD dance which will be developed using: 1) a creative approach, 2) exploratory methods, and 3) the assignment technique, improvisation, and teamwork. This design is called "design of this model dance creative to PGSD" with the stage (syntax) models: a) Prapembelajaran, b) Phase 1: Observation of the stimulus, c) Phase 2: Exploration of motion, d) Phase 3: Improvisation motion in group , e) Phase 4: Preparation of dance movement, f) Phase 5: Presentation of the group, g) Post-learning. The development of creative dance learning model will be able to encourage the creativity of expression and processing of student imagination in producing forms or creations dance and skilled in expressing it.Keywords: learning model, dance practice, ability

Hypertension is commonly found in the elderly. This is because increasing age, the body's cells decline in function. One of the factors that can reduce hypertension are elderly gymnastics. This research is a kind of quasi experimental design with one group pre test and post-test design. The population of elderly who suffer from hypertension in Social Institutions Tresna Werdha Budi Luhur city of Jambi at least 21 people, the sampling method using purposive sampling with a sample of 10 people. Overall analysis using statistical analysis software to test significance level of p<0.05. The results showed no decrease in average systolic blood pressure in the elderly (8.112 mmHg ± 5.930 mm Hg) and diastolic blood pressure (3.824 mmHg ± 2.949 mmHg). Based paired dependent sample t-test, is known to have the effect of significantly decreased systolic blood pressure (t=4.235, p=0.002) and blood pressure diastolic ((t=4.100, p=0.003). This means that there is the influence of gymnastics elderly against blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension in Social Institutions Tresna Werdha Budi Luhur city of Jambi. the study concluded that older exercisers can lower blood pressure in hypertensive patients.Keywords: Gymnastics, blood pressure, elderly

Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) is a study program that has a mandate to produce a primary school teacher. Therefore, PGSD implementing classes to provide students master the competencies of primary school teachers. Recognizing that the primary school at the center of the assessment in lectures in primary school teaching, deserves to be discussed many things about education in primary school. After that, the educational implications need to be addressed in the elementary school for lectures in primary school teaching.According to dynamization of education in primary schools, there are a number of dominant value and feasible in primary school teaching. The values in question are (1) the primary school as a center of education, meaning education in primary schools do not just happen in the classroom, also outside the classroom, and (2) the primary school as a cultural center, with activities (1) the development of logic, (2) the development of ethics, (3) development of aesthetics, and (4) development practices. PGSD development as a center of education as implemented in primary schools so that graduates PGSD feasible accustomed to education that is not only happening in the classroom also conducted education outside the classroom. Graduates PGSD in carrying out his duties as a primary school teacher to implement the education both inside and outside the classroom had no difficulty because it has been socialized in PGSD with such education. This study discusses the criminal acts of Trafficking according to positive law and Islamic law (an analysis of comparative law). As for the problem that dibahan among others How positive law and Islamic law Against Trafficking and the Trafficking problem in the settings How the view of the second law. From the results obtained from studies that both positive law and Islamic law looked Against Trafficking is a form of offence that constitutes crimes against humanity. In teacing and learning process in a class room the using of learning mareial is very important. Leaning material is one of learning sources in teaching and learning activity. Teaching material that serve in it is also take part in that optimalization learning process. Theres no specific learning sources yet, especialy that related to the writing of research paper make a specific problem in lecture process at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komputer Kota Jambi.Related to that problem, is needed a specific learning material in writing of researc paper that deal with students need and characteristic to in crease learning result the development method that used is research and development (R&D). This method is developed by Borg & Gall (1989), Then, R&D method is modified by Sukmadinata (2009) into three steps, that is (1) preface study, (2) method development, and (3) method experiment. Learning material development is deciden to make a participation tim, involve: education technology expert designer lerning expert, subjek material expert, and student.Result of education technology expert is 75% for learning material, it in good level if compatibled tabel. Then designer learning for learning material got 80,09%, it is in a very good level in table. Result of subjek material learning expert is 80,76%, it in good level if compatibled with table. Result of small group toward learning material process, 75%, it in good level if caompatible with table. During the experiment process, the revision done continuely to get learning produk that deal with the users need.Keywords: learning material development, the writing of the research papaer

This study aims to identify and analyze the performance Bendahara SKPD Kapupaten Merangin. Relative to the employee how to work with the Bendahara SKPD as possible and have the discipline and high competence in completing the work at the time of making the annual financial statements will be submitted to the BPKD. So on this, the study aims to demonstrate the significance of the influence of Discipline and Competence of the Bendahara SKPD's performance . In analyzing the data used descriptive analysis of the distribution that contains the items of each variable, then simple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. From the test results with a simple linear regression and partial regression analysis showed that the simultaneous discipline variable (X1) effect on the performance of 6533 (Y) and significant treasurer of 0.000. This shows that t = 6533> table = 1,671 or 0,000 significant <0.05, according to the first hypothesis, the results show that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, ie Discipline (X1) have a significant effect on performance (Y) Bendahara SKPD Kabupaten Merangin. Competence variable (X2) effect of 2,101 on the performance (Y) and significant employees of 0.000. This shows that t = 2.101> table = 1,671 or 0,040 significant <0.05, according to the second hypothesis. The results showed that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely competence (X2) have a significant effect on performance (Y) Bendahara SKPD Kabupaten Merangin. R-value test results of .735 and .540 R Square valuable. This shows that the multiple correlation (Discipline X1 and X2 competence) on employee performance. R2 value 0.540 indicates the role or contribution of Discipline and competence variables were able to explain the variable performance of 54%. While the rest of 46% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.Keyword: Discipline, Competence, performance

INTERPRETASI MAKNA SIMBOLIK UNGKAPAN TRADISIONAL SELOKO HUKUM ADAT MELAYU JAMBI Ade Rahima

The purpose of this research is to interpretation the symbolic meaning of traditional utterances in seloko Hukum adat Melayu Jambi. This researh is descriptive qualitative by using content analysis method integrated with hermeneutic structural analysis. Hermeneutic structural analysis is aimed at revealing the structure and symbolic meaning of traditional utterances in seloko customary law. The data of this research traditional utterances in seloko customary law which consists of charater education values. The primary data is taken from informants who understand about traditional utterances while the second data is taken from some document and relevant research. The result of the research are. The symbolic meaning which are reflected on seloko text of Melayu basic customary law related with five things, they are: 1) Melayu Jambi customary law through the law of Islam from Holy Quran and Hadist 2) Melayu Jambi customary law through old tradition which is proven having truth or kindness on supporting the society, 3) Melayu Jambi customary law through justice, 4) Melayu Jambi customary law holding fast ot the truth, 5) customary low through partnership. Furthemore, the symbolic meaning of Melayu Jambi customary law related with the forms of felony which are contradicted with customary law and sanction of customary law. The functions of those seloko customary law are devided into 2 (two) parts, they are: (1) as a tool of force and control so that the society obey the customary law (2) as a tool in legalizing regulation, (3) as a tool of learning or character education and children attitude. Career development is a demand and the needs of both the employer / employee and for the organization. For employee career development is the way to grow and achieve successes in work, whereas for the organization of career development is an attempt to bring the employee / employees who are professional and have experience of working stages.Career development is the effort made by the organization in planning for a career employees, referred to as career management, including planning, implementing, and overseeing the careers (Sinambela, 2016: 260). Career development is a series of activities to prepare an individual on a planned career advancement (Mondy, 1993).Samsudin (2010: 151-152) explains that the development of a career as a human resources management activities is the realization of the individual as a worker relationship with the organization. To realize the career self-management, the necessary conditions: a. Awareness and understanding of the work that every job always provides an opportunity to grow and progress. b. Each worker must understand the responsibility for career development is an individual responsibility that each individual should perform self-management career. c. Each worker is always aware and understand that it is not easy for society together to provide a form of career positions available.Keywords: Career development, human resources.

PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MENULIS LAPORAN OBSERVASI PADA MAHASISWA PRODI PENDIDIKAN BAHASA DAN SASTRA INDONESIA FKIP UNIVERSITAS JAMBI Andiopenta Purba

This study aimed to describe; (1) The product feasibility report writing instructional materials observation, (2) the quality of the layout and appearance of the observation report writing teaching materials, and (3) the effectiveness of teaching material written observation report. Model applied research and development is a model of the Borg and Gall. To test the model used efektivis Before-After Experiments design and experiment design Posttest-Only Control, as well as using different test techniques statistical t-test. The results of the study include; Feasibility of this model, content, presentation, and the accuracy of the use of language is very good category. Limited scale testing showed the use of the product in terms of learning motivation of students increased 25%, creativity 23%, and 22% of learning outcomes. On a limited scale testing by t-test, for motivation learn t-count of 7135, and the t-table with a significance level of 2.306 to 0:05 (7135> 2306). Likewise, the creativity of students (7126> 2306) and learning outcomes (9.368> 2.306. From the test results on a limited scale seen that the effect of the use of the product in terms of learning motivation of students increased 12:31, creativity 0.69, and learning outcomes 19:30. Eefektivitas products on a large-scale testing wide through t-test, for motivation learn t-test of 52.43, and a t-table with a level of significance of 0.05 for 2021 so that (52.43> 2,021). Similarly, the creativity of the students (89 998> 2,021) and learning outcomes (79 974> 2021 ), so the hypothesis is accepted. the conclusion is: (1) Model teaching material to write a report on the observation produced in research and development is feasible to use in the course of writing, so it can be used in order to improve learning outcomes in the course of writing, especially on topic to write a report on the observation (2) Model teaching materials written report on the results of interesting observations in terms of the layout and appearance of, so that students are motivated to use them and to increase their creativity in writing skills. (3) Model these materials effectively used preformance faculty and students take courses in writing skills, in this case on the topic of writing a report on the observation.Keywords: development, instructional materials, writing, report observations
