Abstract

Education is the main pillar of nation building. The success of a nation’s education is closely related to the progress achieved. Because it is a necessity, so the government and society should prioritize the overall development of the field of education. Especially education that shapes the national character of the nation. Pesantren as one of the indigenous Indonesian National Education sub-systems, has special advantages and characteristics in applying character education for their students (santri). The writing method this article is writer takes some of schoolars argument that related with the topic of this articel.“this article try to highlight the pesantren as the root of history of islamic education in Indonesia, the transformation of pesantren education system and the role of pesantren in Indonesia in maintaining the good character of student. And the result of this article show that pesantren has many types of system and it has a big role in maintaining the good character of student.

Abstract

Culture and national character education which refer to educational of morals, values and nation character has been established since 2010. However, it movalsound is not forceful enough.By that, in 2017 government re-excavate and re-inforced the character education through nationalprogram of Reinforcement of Character Education.Educational institution becomestrategic medium because of it structures, systems and tools which has dispersed in Indonesia entirely from the outlying district to the navel. The national character education is expected carried out massively and systematically by the program that is integrated in the entire educational system, school culture, and in collaboration with community. The main values of character implemented are religius, nationalist, be autonomous, mutual assistance, and integrity. Satlogi SANTRI (the acronim of Sopan Santun, Ajeg/Istiqamah, Nasehat, Taqwallah, Ridlallah, and Ikhlas Lilahi Ta’ala) six values that has been established by KH. Moh. Hasan Saifourridzall as a local genius of PesantrenZainulHasanGenggong since 1989, are basic precept, purpose and direction of behavioral rules should be hold by santri in PesantrenZainulHasanGenggong. And the six values become focus of learning, customary and cultural practice. SatlogiSANTRI as the values which contain islamism, nationalism concepts grounded on humanism values staunch to moral principles, spiritual quotient, interpersonal dan emotional quotient in mutual accord and reinfocerd to the religius, nationalist, be autonomous, mutual assistance, and integrity values.

Abstract

This paper states that Islam is a comprehensive religion that not only regulates the problem of worship but covers all aspects of life and is not only related to thirst but also relates to spirituality. Islam has two important meanings for humans as a basic concept for life, namely the meaning of what religion does (the function of religion in life) and the meaning of wahat is religion (the meaning of religion for life). Both of these meanings are closely related to human relations with the environment, where the relationship of both are equal or symbiotic, namely mutual benefit between humans and the environment. As a form of implementation of rahmatal lil 'alamin, human relations with the environment consists of three principles. First, the principle of respect for nature. Second, the principle of environmental responsibility. Third, the principle of caring for the environment. These three principles will not be effective, so it requires control from the authorities, namely severe punishment to the death penalty. Without severe punishment, the environment will become extinct because it is exploited by humans arbitrarily.

Abstract

In much literature that discusses the existence of humans in the universe is always associated with the concept of human caliphate on earth and the concept of worship. The position of humans in the universe that is mandated as Khalifatullah Fi al-Ardh has a moral responsibility in carrying out the function of the caliphate. The relationship between humans and the universe, including human relationships with other humans, is not a relationship between the ruler and the mastered, but a relationship that has the same goal that is worth worship, namely obedience to God. Because even if humans are able to master, but it is not because of the strength they have, but it is caused by God who subdues it to humans. That is, leadership and human power must still be placed within the framework of human existence that is temporary, so that the tendency of leadership or power can be avoided, which can consequently damage the order of life.

Abstract

Modernization in the field of education is the most important part of social, economic, politic law, and aqeedah. That is, to build a modern society order, education is a very important aspect as a medium for the transformation of cultural values and knowledge. As stated by Belling and Toten that education is an instrument in modernization that is easier than modernization in the form of capital to buy technology. Education will encourage the development of intelligence and cultural products of society. The opinion of Belling and Toten clearly implies that investment in human resources through education will be more promising than in the form of capital to buy technology.

Abstract

The history of the struggle of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in spreading Islamic da'wah was divided into two phases, namely the Makiah phase and the Madaniah phase, where in the Makiah phase the first method of preaching the Prophet used was the Da'wah siri (covertly) by inviting family and close friends to invite accept and embrace Islam as a religion, this kind of method continued for 3 years and was held in the house of brother Arqam, and continued propaganda openly in the Meccan community for 7 years, but the acceptance of the Meccan community for the propagation of Islam propagated by the Prophet Muhammad was not much followed or accepted, especially by the Meccan nobility, they insulted, ridiculed, boycotted even to the point of persecution and murder. From the historical story of the prophet Muhammad about the Aqobah pledge between the prophet Muhammad and the Aus tribes and the Khazraj tribe from a review of social penetration communication is "How the Aqabah Pledge held between the Prophet Muhammad SAW with the Aus and Khazraj tribes in terms of the Social Penetration Communication theory". In communication theory social penetration is a communication that leads to the intimacy of the relationship between the communicant and the communicator.
