Abstract

Masyarakat Jawa mempunyai berbagai macam ritus dalam upacara perkawinan. Salah satu ritus itu adalah ritus atau upacara malam midodareni. Malam midodareni adalah malam tirakatan menjelang hari pernikahan. Malam tirakatan ini dilaksanakan oleh kerabat, kenalan, dan orang-orang sekitar rumah calon pengantin perempuan dengan hening. Upacara midodareni sebagai salah satu upacara di Jawa mempunyai makna yang dalam. Ritus ini dilakukan oleh masyarakat Jawa untuk memperoleh keselamatan, terutama dalam rangkaian upacara perkawinan. Dalam ritus midodareni ini, masyarakat Jawa percaya akan peran bidadari yang mampu mempercantik dan memberi restu kepada calon pengantin yang akan melangsungkan perkawinannya. Ritus atau upacara malam midodareni ini berasal dari cerita rakyat Jaka Tarub yang memperisteri bidadari Dewi Nawangwulan, yang memiliki putri bernama Dewi Nawangsih dan dari kisah perkawinan pahlawan Arjuna dengan titisan bidadari yang bernama Dewi Wara Subadra yang diberi sepasang kembar mayang oleh dewa Krisna. Kembar mayang merupakan sarana yang tidak dilupakan dalam upacara perkawinan adat Jawa. Dalam Keyakinan Masyarakat Jawa, yang menjadi penghambat turunnya restu keselamatan itu adalah lengkap atau tidaknya ritus dan persyaratan yang dilakukan. Jika salah satu persyaratan tidak dipenuhi, ada kecemasan dan kekhawatiran bahwa rahmat itu tidak turun. Dalam perkembangannya, tradisi ini tidak hanya dilakukan oleh masyarakat Jawa tradisional, tetapi juga oleh masyarakat modern yang sudah beragama. Oleh karena itu, paham keselamatan menjadi semakin bervariatif sesuai dengan kemampuan, pengetahuan, dan keyakinan masyarakat.

Abstract

Religion is a practice of faith that has a social dimension. Religion is also full of moral values that go beyond the concepts of space and time, but so socially religion must be digested and understood according to the scope of life of its people. Religion then manifests itself as moral prescription as well as social practices of a community. Likewise Islam in Java is a reflection of the concept. The understanding of Islamic practices of a community that is often juxtaposed with certain geographical boundaries shows the variance in the absorption of Islam. In the context of a pluralistic life, the proportion of locality in seeing and understanding the dynamics of Indonesian Islamic life is certainly very urgent in order to guarantee the synergy and survival of the life of the nation and state. The specialty of humans compared to other craft is mind reason which must be used to think about Allah SWT’s verses. Abstract

Kartosuwiryo was known by many as the plagiarist of the Islamic State of Indonesia, on August 7, 1949 in West Java. Kartosuwiryo has a very complex movement, including the conception of politics, military and religion, even considered as a revolutionary way. Kartosuwiryo made Islam an ideology of politics, where according to him every political struggle must hold on to political faith, which is ideology and realistic. The military movement began when Kartosuwiryo formed the Suffah Institute, which became the forerunner of Hizbullah and Sabilillah soldiers. The emergence of the Indonesian Islamic State proclamation movement was the implementation of a Kartosuwiryo thought which contained the concept of hijrah and jihad. Basically this attitude aims at the PSII political foundation, which is sourced from the Qur'an and the Sunnah. This attitude contains, among others: First, contains devotion to God. Second, tell the situation before the Prophet's migration. Third, narrating the Prophet's migration from Mecca to Medina. Fourth, the first year of migration. Abstract

The progress of information, communication and transportation technology has had a wide influence on daily life, and even overhauled the social system. It is difficult to put the process of social, cultural and political change nowadays apart from the development of global dynamics. The process of globalization has a huge influence on the development of religious values. Religion as a view that consists of various doctrines and values has a great influence on society. They recognize the importance of the role of religion in social life - the politics of the world community. plays an important role in the process of globalization. Because of the importance of the role of religion in people's lives, it is necessary to understand the extent of religion in responding to various social problems. Religion is reduced to provide rules of life and as an instrument for understanding the world that will bring happiness to human life. Abstract

One of the great influences of the Madurese community is derived from its culture. The culture of the local community born from its familiarity is able to sow the heritage of scientific heritage that gives bright colors to generations afterwards. The culture of Molang Areh as a form of a series of events in the event of ʻaqiqah (salvation on the birth of a baby) in the midst of the Madurese community has created scientific colors for its reviewers. A culture that does not have a proposition in this holy book, turns out to be a loose bow through religious teachings. The occurrence of marriages of culture and religious teachings can indicate that culture born from the mother tongue of the people of the interior of Madura has never been in conflict with the teachings of the religion that is present among the people. Abstract

In tradition of previuos society, jilbab or veil habitually was weared by some one who did priglimage or someone who had predicate ustadzah and kiai’s wife, and in education area, jilbab was identically with someone who was graduated from pesantren. Then, It is hard to find someone wear jilbab at that time because jilbab is identic with the quality of someone’s faith. However, on nowdays, jilbab can not longer become a measurement of someone’s faith, but it is as part of fashion and what people wear. Next, there is a confusing term between jilbab and hijab, because some people see it as similar thing, but another see it as different. So, in this article is showed about the comparison, the difference and similarity between hijab and jilbab. This article tends to highlight the concept or hijab and jilbab either in its meaning, the explanation of al-qur’an about jilbab and hijab and the opinion of al-qur’an about hijab and jilbab.

Abstract

Islam as a religion that has the legal basis of the Qur'an and hadith is also a religion that is inseparable from the interaction of the country which is the social life. Prophet as uswatun hasanah in reality is a leader who is really capable of being a religious leader and head of state. However, after the the period of Prophet Muhammad, there is a disagreement about the next leader. This problem is more tapered after the leadership of Umar bin Khattab, and the peak is tahkim events or better known as arbitration. Then, this became the first political upheaval in the leadership of Islam. In the succession of leadership succession has experienced periods of tremendous political upheaval. Regardless of the condition of Islam is still able to accommodate plural society that in fact that Islam having a heyday in the first years. That is because Islam has a strong foundation in the excavation of any law. And of course the situation is an important lesson for Islam to always be careful about politics and power.

Abstract

Arab community life can be seen in the literature which become the product of that era, especially in the case of syi'ir. Arab syi'ir uniqueness can be seen through the perspective of reception, as it pertains to the historical and aesthetic aspects. Historical aspects related to the birth of the pre-Islamic Arabic poetry and development until modern times. Aspects related to the aesthetic beauty of the Arabic used in syi'ir of Arab. Aesthetics basic in understanding the understanding the Arabic poetry of pre-Islamic times to the modern era is through the reception theory, meaning that through literature diachronic. Model of this literature focuses on the issue of how the Arabic literature into Arabic literature mirror society and become autonomous in the world.
