Abstract

Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) is a way of using information technology to record a violation of traffic. This ETLE was developed to support security, order, and safety in traffic. Some cities or districts in Indonesia have started to apply this ETLE in several locations, which usually have traffic lights and frequent violations at these locations. In this paper, one of the elements in ETLE is tested, which is a traffic light signal detector, which will be used as a basis for whether a vehicle violates a traffic light or not. This detector uses a CCTV camera mounted on the location. It then analyzed the intensity of several image areas on the traffic lights in red, yellow, and green. From the test results, this method can determine the conditions of the traffic lights with 100% accuracy

Abstract

In the competition in the business world, especially the Medical Device industry, it requires developers to find an accurate strategy that can increase sales of goods. One way to overcome this problem is to continue to provide various types of medical devices in the warehouse. To find out what medical devices are purchased by consumers, market basket analysis techniques are carried out, namely analysis of consumer buying habits. In order to make it easier for companies to determine Buyers' interest in medical devices, a data mining method is needed which is accompanied by an a priori algorithm based on the purchasing process carried out by consumers based on the relationship between the products purchased. Based on the sample sales data for medical devices CV Andira Karya Jaya, amounting to 25 transactions and in this study a minimum support = 12% and a minimum confidence = 70% will be used. In the final stage, the results obtained are medical devices that are in demand by buyers at CV. Andira Karya Jaya, namely 1 M3 oxygen cylinder and 1 M3 troley of oxygen. Based on this data, CV. Andira Karya Jaya can provide supplies of medical devices that are of interest to buyers.

Abstract

The various knowledge and techniques of digital image processing currently available vary greatly. Research and development has been carried out towards object detection and tracking. Color is one of the parameters used to detect and track objects. Humans can distinguish a color, but a computer may not necessarily recognize that color. Digital image processing techniques that can recognize colors, one of which is color filtering. In this study, Color filtering is a technique of processing digital images based on specific colors, detecting and tracking colors by using a web camera (webcam) and red objects. Object Tracking is the process of following an object that moves and moves position, so that the colored object being tracked will draw in realtime with the results of the colors that can be selected.

Abstract

Yoga Farm is a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) that focuses on catfish breeding that is still doing business processes manually. With this process, information received by related parties is very difficult to obtain quickly. Therefore, the product is still not widely known, and customers are still few because the system used in sales and promotions still uses a manual system. The research method used is qualitative. This study aims to create a sales information system recommended at Yoga Farm and design using Unified modeling language (UML) for the recommended business processes. Customers will get product information in real-time, products can be widely recognized, and the number of Yoga Farm customers can increase. Based on the results of this study, adoption of a web-based sales information system can certainly make it easier to get the latest information quickly, can expand the market and can also facilitate customers in the transaction. For future research, this research can be used as a reference for conducting similar studies at other MSMEs to increase sales

Abstract

In seawater aquariums, seawater quality plays a very important role for the survival of the biota in it. There are measurement parameters that determine the quality of the seawater fit to be inhabited by seawater ornamental fish such as clown fish. Measurement parameters are such as temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen content (DO), pH, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Current technological developments make it possible to create a system that automatically conducts seawater drainage in a seawater aquarium so that the quality of the seawater remains in accordance with its measurement parameters and is fit for habitation by seawater ornamental fish such as clown fish. In this study the measurement parameters that become the reference are the temperature, pH (acidity) values obtained from the temperature sensor and the pH sensor. For normal temperatures, if the temperature is in the range of 24°C to 28°C, while for the ideal temperature is in the range of 25-27°C. For an appropriate pH in a saltwater aquarium is 7.5-8.5 with an ideal pH of 8.2. From the results of measurements made by these sensors, the value will be processed using the fuzzy logic method, then the condition of sea water quality in the aquarium can be seen from the smartphone, and when the measurement results show an inappropriate value, the system will automatically drain the water

Abstract

Oil palm fruit theft at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V still occurs frequently, especially in one district, Tandun District which has 6 oil palm and rubber plantations. The high rate of theft of oil palm fruit causes a decrease in the production of oil palm fruit and palm kernel. This study discusses the use of the K-Means Clustering algorithm as one of the data mining algorithms in grouping data on palm oil theft in the oil palm plantation area of Tandun District. With a number of theft data, this study enables the discovery of the potential for theft of oil palm fruit in the location of oil palm plantations at low, medium and high levels. K-Means Clusering algorithm calculation uses 3 supporting parameters, namely the area of each afdeling, the number of fruits that have been saved, and the number of fruits that have been stolen. After knowing the locations that have the potential for theft of oil palm fruit, the company can implement a strategy to safeguard those potential locations.

Abstract

Digital talent is currently needed along with increasing demand for digital application projects in PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia. The manual recruitment process is a constraint to provide the needs of digital talent. To facilitate the recruitment process is required recruitment system which implements data mining techniques to cluster candidate based on level.  Fuzzy c-means is the clustering method that will be implemented on this system. The system is designed to support recruitment process and predict candidate levels. With the recruitment system, the process is expected to be faster and more accurate than before. The digital talent employees data will be used as training data with the attributes last education, certification and work experience in Information Technology. Based on the results of the study, there are 4 job-level clusters employees, namely basic, junior, medium and senior cluster.

Abstract

The increasing demand for information on the internet causes the traffic load on the web server to increase. Therefore it can cause the workload on a web server service to be overloaded (request), so that the server is down (overloaded). Based on previous research the application of load balancing can reduce the burden of traffic on the web server. This research method uses load balancing on servers with round robin algorithm and least connections as well as a single server as a comparison. The parameters measured are throughput, responses time, requests per second, CPU utilization. From the test results obtained Haproxy load balancing system, the least connection algorithm is superior to the round robin algorithm. Generated per-second request value of 2607,141 req / s and throughput of 9.25 MB / s for the least connection, while 2807,171 req / s and 9.30 MB / s for round robin.

Abstract

The government through the Ministry of Education and Culture issued a regulation on the admission of new students as stipulated in the Minister of Education Regulation Number 51 of 2018 to apply the zoning system. The regulation emphasizes that schools are required to give priority to prospective students who are in the domicile of the closest radius to the location of the school. To facilitate relevant agencies and the public in getting the closest school information in a zone, it is necessary to create an information system that can present information related to the existence or location of the school. One of the systems designed to solve and work with spatially referenced data or geographic coordinates is the Geographic Information System (GIS). Geographical Information Systems have the ability to perform data processing and freeze certain operations by displaying maps and able to analyze data properly. Research carried out applies the haversine formula in the search for the location of the closest school. To build digital maps using Google Maps, and developed with mobile services. The Google Maps API presents the programming functions provided by Google Maps for integration in the web or the application that is being created. While information about school data is presented and integrated in the goegraphic application.

Abstract

Determining student interest in learning, of course, the material studied has a lot to do with exact sciences, especially in the field of science. Various constraints and factors that cause learning in the field of science to be not optimal require the need for changes to learning in the field of science that can be used as an alternative in improving learning science majors. E-learning is an alternative in science learning, considering that unlimited access to information via the internet should be utilized by students properly, especially so that students can get meaning from subjects in the science field. The analysis carried out in the research is the decomposition of a complete information system into its component parts in order to identify and evaluate the problems, opportunities, obstacles that occur and the expected needs so that improvements can be proposed and determine the best student learning interests. The method used in the implementation of this research activity will be carried out with a sampling process equipped with training on the use of Edmodo-based e-learning applications to make decisions on the best student interest in the learning system. The results of these decisions can be obtained by using the Weighted Product method. Learning media that is based on Edmodo can be used as an alternative in classroom learning, makes it easy for teachers to provide subject matter by interacting with students online and offline and can monitor studentactivity in study groups and can carry out evaluations.
