Abstract

Comic is a general term used to denote the phenomenon of images that is put together in sequence and placed side by side.  It is usually available in the form of physical book, but in order to follow the development of digital technology, digital comic was born.  ComicReader is an application that is created to digitally distribute and read comics.  This application uses Yii as the framework.  Yii is a PHP based framework that uses the MVC architectural pattern.Keywords: comic, framework, yii.

Abstract

Information technology is growing rapidly and greatly influences to improving the effieciency and effectiveness of business activities in developing the company. In this case, an information technology audit is needed to ensure the existing information technology, that has been already satisfy the common control standards and has the ability to compete in the business world. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the assessment and to make recommendations based on the analysis maturity level of IT in Car Dealer XYZ in Bandar Lampung according to the framework COBIT 4.1. Standard of COBIT 4.1 has parameters that can aid the assessment of an enterprise using a maturity model. This research finds that the result of maturity level of Car Dealer XYZ in Bandar Lampung is 4.02. This shows that Information Technology has been updated well where the procedures and policies have been done effectively, monitored and there are corrective actions are taken.

Abstract

Dengue Fever (DBD) and Malaria are kinds of diseases that often caused an extraordinary occurrence in Indonesia. Both diseases can spread rapidly and cause death in short time. The prediction of occurrence of Dengue Fever (DBD) and Malaria diseases in Bandar Lampung, still processed manually and presented in form of tables and graphs. In this research, Web-based Geographic Information System (WEB-GIS) was developed to provide information of the spreading of Dengue Fever (DBD) and Malaria diseases in the City of Bandar Lampung. Data was obtained from the Department of Health of the City government. The WEB-GIS was implemented using Arcview, MapServer, MySQL database, and PHPMapscript programming language. The result shows that WEB-GIS could provide information of spreading area of Dengue Fever (DBD) and Malaria diseases in Bandar Lampung until village level.Keywords : Dengue Fever, Malaria, WEB-GIS

Abstract

GNU/Linux is an operating system that allows the users to build or develop their own operating system. There are two methods that can be used, Remaster and Linux From Scratch. The difference is the LFS method builds a system from zero while Remaster using existing Linux distributions [4]. The goal of this research is to investigate the steps of building Linux base operating system using LFS method. The operating system has been built successfully and can be used to fulfill the daily needs such as playing music or video, browsing, programming, and other tasks.Keywords: GNU/Linux, Linux From Scratch, open source, operating system

Abstract

Online attendance list is one of the new breakthroughs to record the list of attendees using computer technology and internet. In general, online attendance list is done by entering the username and password that have been registered in the system within the limited area. This research developed a web based attendance recording system with login area restriction. The system not only will check the username and password entered by user but also detecting the IP addresses to see whether they allowed to access the system or not. If the users succeed login to the system, it also means that they will be listed in the presence list and if they fail the system will not record their presence. The system produce the report of attendance list for given period and can also be used to protect information access                                                                                       Keywords: attendance list, information systems, ip address, login area restriction.

Abstract

This study developed a Decision Support System (DSS) by utilizing Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method as a process in selection of employees acquisition. This selection process used several criteria (multicriteria) to choose which applicants will be accepted. This Decision Support System (DSS) helps managers of Human Resources (HR) in deciding which applicants will be selected. In this application, there are criteria used and the weight of those criteria. This application of module business process will be able to generate the rank of each applicant based on the final amount. The applicant who has the greatest value will be given a better rank and it means that the applicant has criteria in accordance with company’s requirement. In addition, Web Service as a business process of payroll modules. In this process, a set of functions or methods which contained on a server can exchange data and information using an operating system and application that different from each other through the internet that uses XML as the format of message delivery. This system constructed by using PHP and MySQL as language. The result of functional testing data based on test case testing shows that the system can work "in accordance" with its analysis.

Abstract

Rice plant diseases can be identified from their symptoms. To find out exactly the rice plant disease, it will need agricultural experts. Numbers and distributions of agricultural expert are very limited and they cannot overcome the problems optimally, so that a system containing knowledge as what experts do is required. This research was to design web-based experts system by using forward chaining method and certainty factor. Data processed in this system were 16 diseases and 26 of disease symptoms. This system which was developed had superiorities and easiness in accessing it, user friendly and displaying certainty levels from diagnosis results with 81% of customer’s satisfaction. Kata Kunci –experts, expert system, forward chaining, rice plant diseases.

Abstract

The System Search Engine Repository Software Desktop was created with the aim for facilitating the users to get the software to be installed or used by the user. For Windows operating systems and Macintosh, the system can download and check the latest version of the software that is already available. The system created provides a freeware software for Windows and Macintosh operating systems. For Linux, the system displays and generates sources.list of Debian. In this research the system made using Extreme Programming and using web extraction techniques to extract data from website www.filehippo.com. Keywords: web scraping, search engine, extreme programming, web extraction.

Abstract

Activity of Community Service Program/Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) at Lampung University is an intra-curricular activity that combines the implementation of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi with a method of providing learn and work experience to students in community development activities. Grouping students KKN performed with greedy algorithm. To find out the accuracy of grouping students of KKN, the necessary analysis is based on the criteria of gender, faculty and school. Analysis of the grouping will be used as a reference in view of accuracy randomization KKN group that has been done. Analysis grouping students of KKN carried out in three categories: regular, FKIP and combined regular WITH FKIP. Abstract

Indonesian Senior High School has a policy to decide the majors for the student that match their interests, talents and abilities. By developing an auto learning decision support system with iterative dichotomiser 3 (ID3) algorithms help the teachers to make decision for student majoring. ID3 algorithms is a part of learning techniques of artificial intelligence. By using data sample from the past as training data, the system then will be able to give a decision support that can be used as a reference for teachers to majoring students. To get a good decision accuracy required training data with wide variation. The result showed the more vary of training data the higher accuracy of the decision result.
