Abstract

Each company periodically conducts recruitment. With the decision support system is expected to help the company in recruitment. There are various methods to build a DSS and one of them is AHP methods. AHP is one method that can handle the selection of DSS multi-criteria. In each selection, raises the question whether the most influential criteria in the same selection. Using the results from the DSS with AHP methods as sample data, the ID3 algorithm is used to find the biggest factor in the screening criteria. These results indicate the criteria are favored in the weighting criteria are not always the biggest factor and the biggest criteria factors tend to have a wider range of data than other criteria. Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is an University of Lampung intracurricular activity, that not only involving college student, but lecturer themselves as an field supervisor. Along with the advances of technology, Badan Pelaksana Kuliah Kerja Nyata (BP-KKN) necessarily need developing an android based information system, in order to giving practiculary easy and more efficient access towards the information. The purpose of this research is developing an KKN information system based on android for college student, field supervisor coordinator lecturer and field supervisor lecturer. The system research development is using Incremental method, system development method is based on the software need that divided by three stages that are: requirement analysis, specification and design architecture. Those stages must finished and vitrificated first before continuing to the next stage. The research produce an KKN information system based on android that applied into smartphones. The conclusion that obtained from this research is successfully build and developed information system that hopefully helping the college student and field advisor lecturer performing an activity that based on information system in the field. Abstract

Disease is an unwanted problem in freshwater fish cultivation. Lack of information to prevent the disease and limited number of expert in the field of fishery cause unoptimal harvest that leads to substantial loss. Based on that background, expert system to diagnose disease in freshwater fish cultivation is made in this research. This system is intended to help the fish cultivator in identifying diseases based on the symptoms that the fish have. Therefore, further treatment can be applied to cure the fish. The expert system is web-based with php and MySQL as the programming languages that are used as database. Forward chaining is used as the method of reasoning. This method is used to decide which rule is going to be executed, then it is executed. The process is repeated until the result comes up. This system is able to diagnose 33 diseases in 5 kinds of fish. There are 2 tests in this research which are internal and external. The result of the test shows that the system is able to diagnose well and meet the expectation. Moreover, on the management of the rule, the system is able to run as it is intended. This research has created a web based expert system application that can be used to diagnose diseases based on the facts given and give solutions like an expert.Keywords: Expert System, forward chaining, freshwater fish disease, freshwater fish cultivation.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is a term for an environment that combines real world and virtual world, where objects in real world can be recognized through the position, direction, and location. One of AR technology which is currently being developed is Markerless Augmented Reality, with this technology, users no longer need to use a marker to display digital elements. This technology can also be used to visualize information interactively, especially when this technology is integrated with mobile devices such as smartphones that have Android operating system. Camera feature, internet, accelerometer, digital maps and GPS (Global Positioning System) on Android devices can be integrated so that AR technology can be implemented. In this research, Markerless Augmented Reality technology is implemented to detect and find out the location of the nearest gas station in Bandar Lampung city. This application was designed and then implemented by using Java for Android programming language and Beyond AR framework to detect and display AR object and the Google Maps API to display a map of  location of gas stations. The result of testing data using an Equivalence Partitioning testing indicates that the application can function in accordance with the analysis. Additionally, based on questionnaire data, this application is a user friendly application (with an average grade of 4.29 / Excellent) and interactive (with an average grade of 4.20 / Well).

Abstract

Comic is a general term used to denote the phenomenon of images that is put together in sequence and placed side by side.  It is usually available in the form of physical book, but in order to follow the development of digital technology, digital comic was born.  ComicReader is an application that is created to digitally distribute and read comics.  This application uses Yii as the framework.  Yii is a PHP based framework that uses the MVC architectural pattern.Keywords: comic, framework, yii.

Abstract

KKN is an intracurricular activity that provides learning and work experience to students in community development activities. The Implementation Board of the Real Work Program (BP-KKN) of the University of Lampung made the information system an important component in the implementation of KKN. BP-KKN's success in carrying out its duties depends on the extent to which the KKN information system management has been implemented. The use of the KKN information system raises various risks that can interfere with the implementation of KKN and cause losses both non-material and material to BP-KKN. BP-KKN needs to apply risk management to reduce the risks that arise, so that the problems caused do not result in the use of KKN information systems being hampered. The method used is NIST 800-30 which is an information system risk management framework with three stages, namely risk assessment, risk mitigation, and risk evaluation. KKN has 9 risks that can interfere with the sustainability of the information system. The final result of the KKN information system risk management is in the form of recommendations given to reduce the risk that will occur in the information system.

Abstract

Increasing computing power is now achieved by replacing the programming paradigm with parallel programming. Parallel computing is a method of solving problems by dividing the computational load into small parts of the computation sub-process. This study describes the comparative analysis of parallel computations in the Selection Sort and Radix Sort algorithms. The data used are in the form of whole numbers and decimal numbers totaling 100 to 2 million data. The test was carried out with three scenarios, namely using two processors, four processors, and 3 computers connected to each other via a LAN network. The results showed that the parallel Selection Sort algorithm for small data was better than the parallel Radix Sort. On the other hand, parallel Radix Sort is better for millions of data than Selection Sort.

Abstract

Distance students can be seen from the data stored student's address. Address high school students in the Pringsewu District have different distances. This research was conducted to determine the classification of the distance stored in high school students in the Pringsewu District. Distance students are classified to obtain five categories: "sangat dekat", "dekat", "sedang", "cukup jauh",  and "jauh" by using eight attributes are "nomor", "SMA", "kabupaten", "kecamatan", "kelurahan", "jarak", "asal SMP", and "class". The classification performed by using Naive Bayes using Weka tool. Distribution of training data and testing data is defferent as much as 20 times of testing, resulting in the highest accuracy Naive Bayes is 89.329% on distribution of 60% training data : 40% testing data. The data of students address and information classification results displayed in the form of digital map that is mapping of student's address in high school in the Pringsewu District.

Abstract

Online school report card information system based on web and mobile is an information system that can give us information service with student academic data form that we can access it through web and mobile. This online school report card information system based on web and mobile is a development form from online school report card information system by Giska Putri Wulandari that existed previously.Research and development purposes of online school report card information system are for give ease at student and teacher data processing, simplify in student academic data processing and delivery the information to pupil through network mobile and to detect how much influence of online school report card information system based on web and mobile towards system user satisfaction level.Research method that used in this research is based on field research method. And the development system is uses waterfall model. Abstract

This study aims to design and build a Field-Guide Application of Butterflies’ Species at University of Lampung based on Android. This application is expected to be used as a means of information to determine the classification, family, local name, morphology, butterflies’ food and the benefits of butterflies at University of Lampung. This study uses Waterfall Method and design of Unified Modeling Language (UML), as well as using Black Box Testing to test functional and application. Data in this study consisted of primary data including name of butterfly families, local names, butterfly images (caterpillar, butterfly), descriptions of butterfly species; and secondary data including information about the application, families, local names, butterfly images and descriptions of butterflies (sub-family, genus, species, wingspan, flying speed and food) at University of Lampung. This study uses 5 categories of families and 37 species of butterflies at University of Lampung.The result of the research shows: Equivalence Partitioning Testing result shows that the Application Butterfly of Unila is compatible with all Android OS versions with minimum requirements are 4.0 inch, 4.5 inch, 5.0 inch, 5.5 to 6 inch resolution and based on the classes tested, it indicates that Application Butterfly of Unila works properly.The average of user friendly user ratings obtained is 4.11 included in either category. The average assessment of the interactive variables obtained is 4.08 included in either category. The result of testing data based on user friendly and interactive variable indicates that the application is included in category of Good and tend to Very Good.
