Abstract

The list of academic advisor utility is an utility that was developed to help the administration process of computer science major. Previously, it's only used bubble sort sorting algorithm. We try to compare the bubble sort algorithm with selection sort and quick sort to determine the quickest algorithm which will be implemented in other major by searching the worst case (slowest execution time per unit) and best case (fastest execution time per unit). The result is quick < selection < bubble. Selection sort algorithm is proven to be the quickest when n < 26. But the  cademic advisor data that are used in the utility is more than 26. So in this research, the quicksort algorithm is the fastest algorithm.

Abstract

Basic electricity tariffs are increasing and the number of uses of electrical equipment is one reason for every people to saving. One of the biggest contributors of electricity is lighting. Effective and efficient tools are needed to control the lights so that they can quickly and precisely turn on and off the lights. Light control using a microcontroller connected to the internet become solution in this study. Microcontroller on Wemos D1 Mini is used for the central system, while the social media telegram is the control application. Wemos D1 Mini is connected to the relay module to turn lights on and off. Wemos D1 Mini is connected to the internet via wifi so telegrams can communicate with it. A telegram account is made specifically as a bot to take orders from users who control electricity. The bot account is implanted on Wemos D1 Mini. The user's private telegram account is used to communicate with bot accounts. Users can turn on, turn off and view the lights conditions by giving commands to the bot account. The tools was testing to internet connection, in seven different locations and far away from it. Each location was conducted twelve experiments. From these experiments, the test results show the device works properly because there are no feature errors. The command to turn off, turn on and display the status of the lamp can be replied to properly. Need a good internet connection to get maximum results.

Abstract

Bandar Lampung City is the centre of the economy, services and trade in Lampung Province so that a healthy city environment needs to be kept clean and comfortable to support people's lives in carrying out daily activities. One factor that affects the cleanliness and comfort of the city of Bandar Lampung is the condition of air quality in the city of Bandar Lampung. The number of vehicles and industrial factories in the city of Bandar Lampung has become a major factor affecting air quality, such as the increase in harmful pollutant gases such as carbon monoxide gas (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2), dust (PM10), nitrogen dioxide gas (NO2) and sulfur dioxide gas (SO2).Pollutant gas monitoring is one of the solutions in creating good air quality for the community. One of them is by utilizing information and communication technology. One of the utiliparameterion of information and communication technology in air quality monitoring is to use Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). WSN technology, which is the technology used to distribute and acquire data that is monitored and controlled centrally. This research builds an air pollution monitoring system in Bandar Lamping City by utilizing WSN and GSM technology for wireless data transmission to server applications. The results of this study are air pollution monitoring systems running well by displaying the outputs of sensor node acquisition based on the parameters of carbon monoxide (CO), dust (PM10), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and sulfur dioxide (SO2) gases. The results of the calculation of the average overall sensor nodes for each parameter are 49 μg / m3 for PM10 substances, 34 μg / m3 for SO2 substances, 24 μg / m3 for NO2 substances, and 25 μg / m3 for CO substances. Based on the ISPU index and category, the results are in a good category. This means that the condition of air quality in the city of Bandar Lampung in the good category.

Abstract

Dengue fever is a one of the dangerous diseases and very often causes casualties every year, especially in the tropics or subtropics countries. Dengue fever cases increase during the rainy season, many factors affect the spread of dengue fever, such as vegetation, population and landfills. The aim of this research is to predict the number of cases of Dengue fever using support vector machine. The data used are dengue data in Bandar Lampung City, weather data, population data and distance matrix data between dengue fever events with each other. The amount of data used is 1,080 data with 3 kernels: linear, gaussian and polynomial. In this study four experiments were carried out, the first two experiments were carried out without Feature Selection and the next two experiments were carried out with Feature Selection. After the experiment was found The best performance in the experiment with Feature Selection with 44 Variables. From the experiments conducted, Gaussian kernel achieved the highest R2 value which is 75.52%, while the Linear kernel and Polynomial Kernel achieved R2 value of 74.61% and 75.15%, respectively

Abstract

Clean water has a very important role in human life. If an area is difficult to get clean water for daily needs, then they have to buy water to get it. Based on these problems, research was carried out in the form of a filter tool that can be used to filter turbid water into clean water so that it can be used for daily needs and can be monitored in real-time. To be able to make these tools requires software to program so that all hardware can run, the components used are electronic components consisting of an Arduino Mega 2560, HC-SR04 Sensor, Turbidity Sensor, SIM 800L, Waterpump, and a simple water filter as a compliment. This tool works automatically, when the water tank is full of clean water, the user will receive a notification in the form of an SMS. It is hoped that the existence of this tool can help to get clean and healthy water for daily needs.

Abstract

High business competition forces businesses to adapt to the needs of increasingly complex information systems. One of the market demands is the ease of conducting transactions that are mobile but still integrated with the company's overall information system. This challenge is also faced by a small business Kafa Photography engaged in the field of photography services for public. This business requires a data access system that is secure and supports multiple interfaces. Utilizing REST web service technology that can be used as a communication bridge between different access technologies can help the intended system integration. To improve the security of business process related information, it is necessary to add a cryptographic data mechanism. This research will develop a middleware utilizing the viginere cipher cryptographic method on REST-based web service services for the Kafa Photography business venture. The results of research in the form of web service architecture which are used as connectors between different applications, namely web and mobile that support business processes. To test the functionality and compatibility of the outcome, researcher use the Postman application tool and the prototype of mobile and web applications. The effectiveness and efficiency of derivative applications that use web services to improve services for Kafa Photography customers are not measured in this study.

Abstract

Fakultas MIPA merupakan salah satu fakultas di Universitas Lampung yang menjadi pusat perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dasar. Namun, minat masyarakat terhadap jurusan-jurusan di Fakultas MIPA semakin berkurang setiap tahunnya. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan suatu media yang dapat memperkenalkan Fakultas MIPA dan memberikan informasi setiap jurusan kepada calon mahasiswa dan masyarakat pada umumnya. Virtual tour guide merupakan aplikasi yang menggabungkan teknologi virtual tour dengan teknologi virtual reality. Aplikasi ini menampilkan informasi berupa keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh Fakultas MIPA. Pengguna dapat berinteraksi langsung dengan lingkungan serta gedung yang ada di Fakultas MIPA walaupun dalam bentuk 3 dimensi. Selain itu, pengguna juga diberikan akses penuh untuk mengatur informasi yang ingin ditampilkan. Aplikasi yang dibangun menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) ini dapat dioperasikan di smarphone android. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, aplikasi ini membantu masyarakat untuk lebih mengenal lebih detail tentang jurusan di Fakultas MIPA. Namun, aplikasi ini hanya dapat berjalan dengan baik pada smartphone dengan spesifikasi hardware yang tinggi.

Abstract

The hospital is an organization that has an important role in efforts to improve public health. In running its business, the hospital continues to strive to improve services for its patients so as not to move to competitors. Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak (RSIA) XYZ is one of the providers of quality medical services for mothers and children. The hospital continues to strive to improve the quality of customer relations by providing the best service for its patients. Problems that arise in the hospital are related to unsatisfactory services that make patients disappointed. One of them is a fairly long procedure, which causes the patient to wait a long time to get action. An information system prototype has been designed using the concept of Electronic Customer Relationship Management (e-CRM). This concept provides the best service for patients who have not moved to competitors. System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method used is prototyping technique. This application prototype was built using PHP programming with the MySQL database. The features contained in the prototype include the appointment of the doctor, the witness feature, the complaint feature, the askdoctor feature, and the promo feature that is useful for getting patients and improving the quality of service to maintain patient loyalty at RSIA XYZ.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the need for modules aided by computer applications in the geometry course at IAIN Metro. This research is a descriptive exploratory study. The method used in the form of a questionnaire which completed with interviews to get more in-depth results. Data obtained from the percentage of the results of the total number of responses for all respondents then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The conclusion of this study is that it needs to be developed teaching materials in the form of modules aided by computer applications in geometry courses.

Abstract

The level of internet usage continues to increase until now.  information exchange requires security that cannot be predicted by others.  one technique for securing information is steganography.  Steganography techniques are the science and art of hiding information.  This technique can hide the content of information in media that cannot be guessed by ordinary people, so as not to arouse suspicion of the people who see it.  One of the media that can implement the white-space modified steganography method is HTML pages.  in addition, AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) is a lighter encryption security algorithm compared to other algorithms. In this study, plain text that has been encrypted into cipher text is then inserted with white-space and white-space modification steganography techniques. Data changes have occurred but only less than 1 percent.  In experiments that have been implemented on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the same except in Internet Explorer, which changes the data slightly larger.The implementation of AES encryption and stegano white-space original, has 100% success but the 80% decryption process is successful, but the decryption results contain additional binaries. This happen because the use of tabulation (tabs) instead of spaces in HTML5 articles, and this is often found in HTML articles. while the implementation of AES encryption and stegano whitespace modified, has a success of 100% and the decryption process of 90% succeeded without any changes. 1 article failed because the number of articles is too small compared to the amount of space provided. The conclusion that implementation of AES encryption and white-space modified is more appropriate to be implemented in HTML5 articles, and than the use of tabulation and the number of characters also consequences on the implementation.Keywords: Information, Steganography, White-space modified, Security, AES, Web Browser
