Abstract

Vertex coloring is a method giving colors to vertex in a graph, so that each neighborhood vertex has a different color. Chromatic numbers are the minimum number of colors that can be used to color the vertices on a graph G. The aim of this research is to optimize the storage of chemicals safely by applying the application of chromatic number of graph coloring and to determine whether the chemical storage in the laboratory is optimal or not. This study is using a qualitative observation research design. We use a graph coloring method to obtain optimal results. And we get data by observation, interview and documentation. The instrument that we used to collect data consist of chemical data form. The data analysis activity starts from collecting the lists names of chemicals until draw conclusions.The results of this study, using the Welch-Powell Algorithm we get the chromatic number is 4. So that by applying the chromatic number of graph coloring, we just need place chemical in the laboratory as many as 4 cabinets, so that the storage area more optimal laboratory compared to the previous storage area of ​​6 cabinets.

Abstract

Optimization of fire station location is carried out to determine the optimal location of the fire station to obtain efficiency and effectiveness in handling fire incidents. In this research, the optimization problem of the fire station location's in Situbondo District is solved by a linear programming model with a minimization objective function, i.e to minimize costs. The constraints are travel time and non-negative constraints. The model was solved using the simplex method by MPL (Mathematical Programming Language) software. The minimization objective function is chosen to obtain minimal costs due to the minimal number of fire stations. The result is there should be two fire stations in Situbondo District, i.e Banyuglugur and Arjasa Sub-Districts which is indicated by the optimization results x3 = x14 and objective function zmin = 2. Optimasi lokasi pemadam kebakaran dilakukan untuk menentukan lokasi pos pemadam kebakaran yang optimal sehingga menghasilkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam melakukan penanganan kejadian kebakaran. Dalam penelitian ini, permasalahan optimasi lokasi pos pemadam kebakaran di Kabupaten Situbondo diselesaikan dengan menggunakan model pemrograman linier dengan fungsi tujuan minimasi, yaitu meminimalkan biaya. Kendala yang digunakan adalah kendala waktu tempuh dan kendala non-negatif. Model tersebut diselesaikan menggunakan metode simpleks menggunakan bantuan software MPL (Mathematical Programming Language). Fungsi tujuan minimasi dipilih untuk mendapatkan jumlah pos pemadam kebakaran yang paling sedikit sehingga biaya yang dikeluarkan sedikit. Hasilnya adalah pos pemadam kebakaran di Kabupaten Situbondo seharusnya ada dua, yaitu di Kecamatan Banyuglugur dan Kecamatan Arjasa yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil optimasi x3 = x14 dan fungsi objektif zmin = 2.

Abstract

The economic growth of a nation is strongly influenced by inflation. Inflation is the continuous soaring price of goods or services. This study aims to predict the movement of inflation that will occur in East Java from January 2021 to December 2021. This study uses 48 data from the East Java Province inflation rate data from January 2017 to December 2020 sourced from the official website of BPS East Java. Predictions using the triple exponential smoothing method with forecasting evaluation using MAPE. Based on the analysis results, the parameters used are ⍺ = 0,01, β = 0,09 dan γ = 0,30 which produces a MAPE value of 1.619%, which is classified as very good. The results show that the inflation forecasting from January 2021 to December 2021 is estimated at -0.13 to 0.48, with an average of 0.087. Thus, the movement of inflation in East Java from January 2021 to December 2021 is classified as low inflation, so it shows that prices and services are still stable.

Abstract

In the Javanese calendar (Anno Javanica) there are two types of day names, namely saptawara and pancawara. Pancawara is a five-day cycle (Legi, Paing, Pon, Wage and Kliwon). Saptawara is a seven day cycle, like the weekly cycle on the Gregorian Calendar (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The Gregorian calendar does not recognize the pancawara cycle. However, the use of the Gregorian Calendar in Indonesia combines a seven-day cycle with a five-day cycle so that there are names for Monday-Legi, Tuesday-Paing and so on. The result is a 35-day combination called selapanan. With the literature review method, a mathematical model will be built to determine the names of saptawara, pancawara and selapanan days for certain dates on the Gregorian calendar. Furthermore, these mathematical models will be called the saptawara model (four models), the pancawara and the selapanan model (two models respectively).

Abstract

PT X is a company engaged in the cosmetic sector. The product with the biggest defect is the green tea tree oil facial wash. This study aims to reduce the number of defects by determining the optimal level setting on the product. The Taguchi method is one of the methods in the experimental design that can be used to control product quality from noise by minimizing variations. This research method uses Taguchi because this method combines experimental results through optimal factors and factor levels and at the same time reduces the number of experiments so as to save time and costs. The experimental factors are water, Nacl, cocamide DEA, citrid acid, mixing speed, mixing time and mixing temperature. The results of this study found that the dominant type of defect in the green tea tree oil facial wash products was the product with low viscosity. In this case, we used a nominal-is-best quality characteristic with a target of 37500 cPs. We found that the optimal setting for green tea tree oil facial wash products were 64.3% of water, 2% of cocamide DEA, 0.3% citric acid and 60 minutes for the mixing period.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the superiority of Tokopedia, Shopee, Bukalapak, JD.ID, Lazada and Zalora based on the quality of applications made by users of these applications. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people using accidental sampling technique. Operationalization of variables in this study consists of performance, reliability, features, conformance, durability, serviceability. aesthetic and perceived quality. The data analysis technique in this study used multidimensional scaling analysis. This study maps 6 marketplaces into 4 different quadrants, quadrant 1 consists of Lazada, quadrant 2 consists of Shopee and JD.ID, quadrant 3 consists of Bukalapak and quadrant 4 consists of Tokopedia and Zalora. The conclusion of this study with overall view indicate that there are 3 marketplace groups that have similarities, group 1 consists of Bukalapak and Lazada, group 2 consists of Shopee and finally group 3 consists of Tokopedia, JD.ID and Zalora. Through the division of these groups, it is assessed that group 1 (Bukalapak and Lazada) has a poor application quality, while group 2 (Shopee) has a good application quality and finally group 3 (Tokopedia, JD.ID and Zalora) has a best application quality.

Abstract

An outsourcing company with a work contract period can run well if the work agreement made by the client is carried out properly. One of the things that affect the contract period is client complaints. By minimizing client complaints, the sustainability of work contracts between outsourcing companies and client companies is getting higher. For this reason, outsourcing companies assign workers based on the abilities of each worker so that the work results are optimal. One of the methods in solving assignment problems is the Hungarian method and the QM application. The purpose of this research is to minimize the value of hygiene complaints from clients. The results showed a reduction in the value of 15 client complaints from 43 complaints to 28 complaints related to the completion of the assignment of employees of outsourcing company using the Hungarian method and the QM application.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian lahan, penerapan dan pengembangan teknologi budidaya tambak sehingga potensi sumber daya yang tersedia dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal dan lestari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei yaitu mengumpulkan data dari sampel yang diambil secara acak terdiri dari 59 rumah tangga perikanan dan kesesuaian lahan tambak menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kelurahan Waetuo dengan luasan tambak 343,288 ha memiliki luasan tertinggi dengan rincian S1 = 297,303 ha dan S2 = 45,985 ha. Sementara itu, Kelurahan Bajoe memiliki luas tambak terendah yaitu 57,036 ha dengan rincian S1 = 35,958 ha dan S2 = 21,078 ha. Jika ditinjau dari penerapan teknologi, pada umumnya pembudidaya tambak yang ada di lokasi penelitian menggunakan sistem teknologi tradisional yaitu secara polikultur sekitar 88 % sedangkan monokultur hanya 12 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa lahan tambak di Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur sudah sangat sesuai dan pada umumnya menggunakan sistem teknologi tradisional secara polikultur.

Abstract

Provinsi DKI Jakarta memiliki kepadatan penduduk terbesar di Indonesia yang riskan dengan permasalahan lingkungan, salah satunya di sungai-sungainya. Sekitar 52.5% desa/kelurahan yang dilalui sungai memiliki kondisi sungai tercemar limbah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan eksplorasi kondisi sungai tercemar limbah yang disertai dengan identifikasi faktor-faktor yang diduga memengaruhinya berdasarkan data Potensi Desa (Podes) tahun 2018 (Badan Pusat Statistik, 2018). Eksplorasi data dilakukan dengan membuat plot tebaran dan ringkasan statistik, dengan hasil yang diperoleh adalah mayoritas sumber limbah berasal dari limbah rumah tangga. Selanjutnya, analisis regresi logistik beserta metode stepwise dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor dari segi kondisi lingkungan, alih fungsi, serta kondisi sosial ekonomi desa/kelurahan yang memengaruhi kondisi sungai tercemar limbah. Hasilnya, faktor yang memengaruhi sungai tercemar limbah meliputi adanya fungsi alih sungai dan banyaknya rumah tangga miskin dengan kategori tinggi. Selain itu, faktor adanya perawatan sungai dapat digunakan sebagai indikator bahwa sungai di desa/kelurahan di DKI Jakarta tercemar limbah.

Abstract

Every organism has DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) which carries genetic information. One of the methods for analyzing strings of DNA sequences is n-mers frequency. It is a data mining method on strings of DNA sequences that is converted into numerical data. We studied 13 deadly viruses, consisting of Rabies, HIV, Ebola, Smallpox, Marburg, Herpes B, Lujo, Avian Influenza, Spanish Flu H1N1, Dengue, HPV, SARS-CoV, and SARS-CoV-2. This study aims to establish the phylogenetic tree and find out the genetic relationship of the deadly viruses. The first method we used are collecting viral DNA sequences from the NCBI database. Afterward, the strings of DNA sequences were converted into numerical data using the n-mers frequency. After that, the dissimilarity matrix was calculated and the phylogenetic tree was established using the AGNES algorithm. Based on the phylogenetic tree, the aforementioned 13 viruses were classified into three clusters, namely cluster 1 from the realm Riboviria, cluster 2 from the realm Duplodnaviria and cluster 3 from the realm Varidnaviria. The clustering results of 13 viruses are valid because each virus is clustered based on its taxon. In addition, viruses that have the closest genetic relationship are grouped first, while viruses that have the distant genetic relationship are grouped later.
