Abstract

Animal wastes present in the form of manure, urine, feed, hatchery by product, blood, feather, bone, horn, and rumen material. Unmanaged animal waste contributes to environment problems. Animal wastes consist of nitrogen, phosphate, pathogen and organic material. Over absorption of nitrogen affect to melkomoglobinemia, meanwhile eutrophication happened due to over phosphate on the water bodies. Pathogen cause infection and diseases, and furthermore less oxygen due to over organic material in water decreasing fish population. Applying feed enzyme may increase availability of nutrition, performance, and decrease pollution impact due to manure. Well-management of livestock take consideration of environmental aspects, such as awareness of environment risk, balancing nutrition content of the waste animal, waste management, neighbor awarness, understand and obeying the regulation, and consider to the physical factors and applying land evaluation for livestock-site selection. This article responds to the impact of livestock on the environment and discusses factors related to environmental friendly of livestock management.

Further of result analysis of Var Method which is executed to show that modeling which is bulit that is growth of influence foreign aid (LFA), foreign capital investment (LPM) and export (LEX) have is true. Based on analysis of variant decomposition seen the influencing growth is growth variable (Lg) it self, medium of foreign aid variable (LFA), foreign investment (LPM) and variable exports (LX) its the influence very low. Based on analysis of impulse response is found by that influence foreign aid variable (LFA) strongest are compared to by foreign investment variable (LPM) and variable exports (LX).

Abstract

The experiment was carried out to observe the effect of sires and diets on the growth of genotype traits of Turi duck. There were five sires and 25 dams which produced 151 offspring used in the experiment. Three diets with equal nutrient balance but different concentration P1: {CP:EM= 1:145, EM 2482 kcal/kg:protein 17%}; P2 {CP:EM= 1:146 EM 2628 kcal/kg: protein 18%}; and P3 {CP:EM= 1:144 (EM 2774 kcal/kg: protein 19%} were then applied. Heritability estimation on body weight sire wise was h2: 0.059 (1st week); h2: 0.096 (2nd week), while the estimated heritability for body weigght gain was h2: 0.063 (1st week), h2: 0.239 (2nd week), h2: 0.062 (3rd week), h2: 0.156 (5th week), h2: 0.278 (6th week) and h2: 0.046 (8th week) respectively.

Abstract

Abstract

Fertilizer of NPK or manure no velvet bean yield increase. On leguminosae, nitrogen fertilizer utilization can decreased rhizobium activity on nodule change N2 to ability nitrogen for plant. For this reason, experiment limiting factor for velvet bean yield important to due. This research was conduct on Litosol soil in Tancep, Ngawen, Gunungkidul regency and on latosol soil in UNS experimental Land, Jumantono, Karanganyar regency. The experimental design was Randomized complete block design and factorial with 2 factors. The treatment was: 1) soil kind, 2 level litosol soil in Ngawen and latosol soil in Jumantono, and 2) fertilizer on 7 level, a) control without fertilizer, b) P 200 kg/ha, c) P 100 kg/ha and K 100 kg/ha, d) P 200 kg/ha and foliage fertilizer D, e) P 200 kg/ha and foliage fertilizer B, f) P 100 kg/ha, K 100 kg/ha and foliage fertilizer D and g) P 100 kg/ha, K 100 kg/ha and foliage fertilizer D and B. All experiment due with 3 replications. Result of this research shows: 1) P, K and micro nutrition due to limiting growth and yield of velvet bean, 2) latosol soil take the higher growth and yield than litosol soil, 3) plant growth and yield on latosol soil was very responsive than litosol soil.
