Abstract

Dampak Konversi Lahan Pertanian terhadap Pendapatan Rumahtangga Petani di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis besarnya konversi lahan (2) mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis perubahan struktur pendapatan rumah tangga petani dan (3) menganalisis  dampak konversi lahan pertanian terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Metode dasar  penelitian adalah deskriptif analitis. Penentuan lokasi  kecamatan didasarkan (1)  jumlah penduduk yang bekerja sebagai petani sendiri, (2) jumlah dan jenis industri yang ada serta (3) kemudahan mencapai pusat perkonomian. Kecamatan terpilih adalah Jumantono dan Jaten. Jenis data yang digunakan meliputi (1) data primer yaitu hasil wawancara dengan rumah tangga petani, (2) data sekunder dari instansi terkait .  Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis tujuan (1) dan (2) deskriptif eksploratif komparatif dan (3) dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) selama kurun waktu 12 tahun terjadi perubahan fungsi lahan sawah 0,120 hektar per rumah tangga petani; (2) Proporsi pendapatan usahatani berkurang 8,30 % dari 42 % menjadi 33,7   % dan   proporsi pendapatan luar usahatani meningkat 10,30 % dari 54 % menjadi 64,30 %); (3) hasil analisis uji t dengan α = 5 % menunjukkan pendapatan rumah tangga petani sebelum konversi tidak sama dengan sesudah konversi lahan pertanian (pendapatan bertambah Rp 1.482.000 per tahun).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the marketing channels of fresh milk in Klaten , costs, benefits, marketing margin and efficiency. The basic method used was the descriptive analysis and purposive sampling with the Kayumas Village, Jatinom was selected as a place for the research. In total, 30 dairy farmers were taken as samples by random sampling method. Meanwhile, traders samples taken by snowball sampling consisted of two traders, 3 and 1 meddle retailers. The data used were primary and secondary data taken in April 2010 with interview techniques, recording and observation. Data was analyzed using cost margin analysis.The results of this study showed that there were two patterns of fresh milk marketing channels. Channels I: dairy farmers → TPS → KUD → IPS, home industry, retailers and consumers. Channel II: dairy farmers → collectors → traders from outside of Jatinom. In the first line the total marketing cost was Rp. 263.76, total marketing profit was Rp. 143.26 and marketing margins was Rp. 328.26 per liter. For marketing channel II total marketing cost was Rp. 52.93, total marketing profit was Rp. 60.07 and marketing margins was Rp. 81.50 per liter. Both of the channels were efficient with the farmer's share of 89.06% for channels I and 97.24% for channel II.

Abstract

Perkembangan pembangunan terutama di kota besar berdampak pada semakin berkurangnya lahan pertanian padi. Kondisi ini membuat generasi muda terutama yang tinggal di kota besar tidak mengenal proses usahatani padi yang berdampak pada sikap kurang menghargai pangan dan petani yang menghasilkannya. Dampak yang lebih mengkhawatirkan adalah semakin menurunnya minat generasi muda dalam pertanian. Saat ini di DIY berkembang agrowisata berbasis usahatani padi sawah tradisional dengan pelajar sebagai pangsa pasarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi agrowisata berbasis usahatani padi sawah tradisional sebagai edukasi pertanian bagi generasi muda dan mengkaji manfaat sosial ekonominya bagi petani dan masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, dan merupakan sebuah studi kasus di Desa Wisata Pentingsari. Pengumpulan data dan informasi dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam (depth intreview) dengan pengelola agrowisata. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa agrowisata berbasis usahatani padi sawah tradisional berpotensi untuk dikembangkan. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari semakin banyaknya wisatawan pelajar yang berkunjung untuk menikmati dan terlibat dalam pengolahan sawah (bajak sawah, tandur, maupun panen). Secara ekonomi, agrowisata berbasis usahatani padi sawah tradisional dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani dan masyarakat, sedangkan secara sosial budaya, agrowisata ini turut menjaga kelestarian dan kearifan lokal dalam pengelolaan usahatani padi sawah tradisional.

Abstract

Tourist village as a new trend of tourism that has been growing rapidly in Yogyakarta. Based on attractiveness, accessibility, facilities, community empowerment, marketing and promotion, institutional, and human resources, tourist villages are devided into growing, developing and developed categories. Wetland rice agrotourism offers attractions in tourist village that leads to increasing income of the perpetrators (main actors, supporting actors, and managers). This descriptive research aimed to compare agro-tourism perpetrators’s income contribution to household income in various categories of tourist village in Yogyakarta. This research was purposively conducted in Gabugan, Pancoh and Pentingsari Village as representation of grow, developed, and advanced tourism villages. The result depicted that the contribution of wetland rice agrotourism to household income of all agro-tourism actors was low in all tourism village categories. This indicates that the wetland rice agro-tourism has not contributed significantly in supporting the domestic economy of the perpetrators. The results of the study show that the advanced tourism villages have a higher contribution of income compared to developing and growing tourism villages.

Abstract

Desa Prima is one of the policies of the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment to break the poverty chain and women empowerment through productive economic development. “Kenanga” group is one of the Desa Prima with 21 active members engaged in culinary (81%), handicraft (9.5%), and services (9.5%). During the pandemic, sales are decreasing drastically. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an alternative business to survive and develop. By using FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method, these service activities aim to provide alternative product diversification. This service provided training in making “pisang sanggan” and “Jadah Wajik” as delivery in “seserahan” ceremony. This training was chosen because it is still relevant to the business field of the participants and can increase selling. The results show that the training increases participants’ understanding, skills, and creativity in making “Pisang sanggan” and “Jadah Wajik” and selling the product 100%.

Abstract

The objective of this research to analyze the effect of change in per capita income to the change in economic structure. The research using time series data for 10 years (1994-2003) with 1993 as the basic year. The data used in this research are The Special Region of Yogyakarta Gross Regional Domestic Product data, The spesial Region of Yogyakarta Export Value data, per capita income, labor data and other relevant data which support the research. Data was collected from Yogyakarta Central Bureau Of Statistic (BPS) and other relevant sources. The data was analyzed using regression analysis. The result of this research showed that primary sector are no longer as the primer sector of Special Region of Yogyakarta and a leap of economics structural changing from primary to tertiary sector.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyzing the amount of land conversion and the factors that affect, (2) identify and analyze changes in households income structure of farm household, (3) analyze the impact of conversion on agricultural land to the income distribution, employment and welfare of farm households. The basic method on this study is descriptive analytic. Determination of the districts location is based on (1) the number of people who worked as farmers themselves, (2) the amount and type of existing industries and (3) ease of reaching the central interconnected economy. Sub-district is elected Jumantono and Jaten. Type of data used include (1) primary data is the results of interviews with farm households, (2) secondary data from relevant instances. The result showed (1) during the 12 years there is a change 0,120 ha of wet rice field function per household farmer and owned land is the only factor affecting the conversion of agricultural land; (2) the proportion of farm income reduced by 8,30% from 42% to 33,7% and the proportion of outside farm income increased 10,30% from 54% to 64,30%, (#) the results of t test analysis with α = 5% shows the employment and household income of farmers before the conversion is not the same as after the conversion of agricultural land (revenue increased to IDR 1.482 million per year).
