Abstract

PT. Sama Al-Tanmiah is a company engaged in the semi-finished plywood production industry. Semi-finished raw materials are further processed according to the needs of the buyer, the cause of damage is due to poor maintenance and deteriorating component quality. This research was conducted to determine the origin of the causes of damage to the production machine at PT. Same Al-Tanmiah. Retrieval of data obtained by means of interviews, observation and requesting secondary data for 6 months of production, for data processing using Fault Tree Analysis and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. The data obtained from the company enters into data management. The next stage will be a fault tree image analysis using Microsoft Visio and weighting to the three production machines using Microsoft Excel. The results of the researchers obtained the root of the fault tree and the value of the RPN with weighted machine damage. Improvement of management and standard operating procedures (SOP).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan evaluasi pencahayaan dan pengkondisi udara pada ruang laboratorium komputer di Politeknik ATMI Surakarta dengan latar belakang adanya keluhan dari mahasiswa terkait kenyamanan visual dan termal saat beraktivitas di dalam ruangan. Metode evaluasi pencahayaan berdasar SNI 6197: 2011 sedangkan evaluasi pengkondisi udara dilakukan dengan metode perhitungan beban pendinginan CLTD/CLF/SCL. Tingkat pencahayaan yang diperlukan sesuai standar adalah 500 lux dan beban pendinginan ideal sebesar 45.554 BTU/jam. Hasil evaluasi menyatakan bahwa tingkat pencahayaan ruangan masih belum memenuhi standar yaitu hanya sebesar 120 lux dan kapasitas unit pendingin udara yang terpasang lebih kecil dari beban pendinginan yang diperlukan yaitu hanya sebesar 36.600 BTU/jam. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan untuk mengganti tipe lampu dengan spesifikasi 2500 lumen dan menambah jumlahnya menjadi 34 lampu. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan untuk mengganti unit pendingin udara terpasang yang berkapasitas 12.000 BTU/jam dengan unit pendingin udara lain yang berkapasitas 24.600 BTU/jam.

Abstract

PT. X Indonesia provides medical insurance for their employee from BPJS Kesehatan and other private company insurance. Currently, the data management of medical insurance members is not efficient and effective because the data regarding medical insurance are managed manually using MS Excel. The manual process leads to incorrect data input and causes a delay in the process of getting treatment and reimbursement claim process. The company will reimburse the payment but the process is long and complicated because the company should check the limitation for reimbursement claim per year. To solve the problem, database systems are constructed using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology which consists of five phases; systems planning, systems analysis, systems design, systems implementation, and system test, and deployment. The business process flow diagram of the current and proposed system is analyzed. After that, user requirements are determined. The data flow diagram and entity-relationship diagram (ERD) is constructed. And the system is developed using MS Access. Finally, the system is deployed. The result is an application running in MS Access that can manage medical insurance claim with more efficient and effective, compare to previous MS Excel.

Abstract

Di dalam dunia industri, masalah tata letak pabrik maupun tata letak fasilitas dan peralatan produksi merupakan salah satu yang berperan penting dalam peningkatan produktivitas perusahaan. Tata letak yang tidak tepat dapat menyebabkan waktu pemindahan bahan menjadi tidak efektif karena jarak antar stasiun yang jauh. CV. Apindo Brother Sukses adalah perusahaan yang berfokuskan pada bidang jasa yang melakukan berbagai perlakuan terhadap suatu produk atau barang. Perlakuan yang dilakukan salah satunya yaitu pelapisan menggunakan listrik atau electroplating. Kegiatan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses produksi pelapisan Nikel chrome dan Gold Plating dan membuat tata letak fasilitas baru proses produksi pelapisan Nikel chrome dan Gold yang lebih efektif pada CV. Apindo Brother Sukses. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP). Hasil studi lapangan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah pada proses pelapisan nikel chrome dan gold masih mengalami panjangnya proses produksi oleh karena itu peneliti membuat rancangan layout proses produksi baru dengan panjang yang lebih pendek dan efektif. Hasil pembuatan layout usulan didapatkan improvement pengurangan jarak tempuh produksi sebesar 62,5% untuk nikel chrome dan 73,5% untuk gold.

Abstract

The human resources for companies engaged in production are very important. One of the production companies that continues to experience increased demand is XYZ Convection Yogyakarta. Many demands  have an impact on worker conditions, especially with regard to mental workload. This can lead to a decrease in productivity at a time. The study aims to provide an evaluation of workers mental workload based on experimental calculations in experiments. In this study, subjective measurements were made with nasa-TLX method against tailors. There are six indicators to be compared and rated. Calculations from the study showed that the average employee mental workload was 54.08 and was in the high category. Then, analyze the factors that cause high mental load using fishbone diagrams and obtain several affecting factors such as lack of rest time, high demand, number of workers, maintenance of machinery, and environmental circumstances. This indicates that the high workload at XYZ convection is higher than the capacity of its workers.

Abstract

The use of stoves that are not ergonomic becomes an obstacles for food seller because it can interfere with physical comfort while working due to inflexsible stove conditions for use. Therefore, this research will identify the data nedeed, provide suggestions for an ergonomic stove design in form of 3 dimensions and be directly applied in tangible form using the value engineering method. The stages used are information stage, creaativity stage, analysis stage (creative analysis, raw material costs, anthropometry, and raw material analysis). Anthropometry data was obtained from 135 of pecel lele seller in Pekanbaru in form of dimensions of elbow span in standing position (D33), upper arm length dimensions in sitting position (D23), and height dimensions of vertebrae in standing position (D6). The next stage is development and reccomendations stages.and the last stage is analysis stage ofrom result of design. The result obtained that the elbow in the standing position (2x D33) = 2x 66.6 cm = 133.2cm, the length of the upper arm in the sitting position (D23) = 40.0 cm, and the height of the vertebrae in the standing position (D6) = 75.2cm

Abstract

Peramalan data penjualan berperan penting dalam optimisasi persediaan produk pada bisnis retail. Apotek adalah satu bentuk bisnis retail yang menjual sediaan farmasi (obat, bahan obat, obat tradisional dan kosmetika), alat kesehatan, dan bahan medis habis pakai. Apotek Suganda yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Sragen, melakukan penentuan rencana pengisian kembali (pembelian) sediaan farmasi dengan manual berbasis kebiasaan semata. Mekanisme tersebut terkadang menyebabkan terjadinya kekurangan persediaan obat. Oleh karena itu, untuk memperbaiki perencanaan pembelian, perlu dilakukan peramalan permintaan sediaan farmasi. Beberapa metode dujikan untuk melakukan peramalan permintaan, salah satunya menggunakan metode Long Short-term Memory (LSTM), yakni suatu metode berbasis machine learning. Bersama dengan métode-metode lainya yakni Least Square, Single exponential Smoothing, Double exponential Smoothing, Triple Exponential Smoothing, Winter Exponential Smoothing, Weight Moving Average, dan ARIMA, peramalan penjualan sediaan farmasi dilakukan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa peramalan penjualan sediaan farmasi secara mingguan yang menggunakan LSTM memiliki Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) yang paling rendah dibanding metode lainnya. Dengan demikian, implementasi peramalan penjualan berbasis machine learning perlu dimanfaatkan, salah satunya dengan membuat modul peramalan untuk diintegrasikan dengan aplikasi penjualan yang dimiliki oleh apotek tersebut.

Abstract

Halal Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) give quite a substantial contribution to the country's economic growth. Halal certification is given to guarantee the halalness of the product and it’s expected to increase the profit of SMEs. However, in reality, there is no significant difference between the profits of SMEs with halal-certified and without one. This study aims to formulate how to optimize halal certification in order to increase the profits of halal SMEs by analyzing halal supply chain management. The qualitative method by literature reviews is used in this research. This research result is a formulation to optimize the SMEs halal certification, which consists of top management commitment in implementing halal policies, continuity of raw material fulfillment, building network with raw material suppliers, training for employees, procurement of SOPs and clear financial records, also building a good network structure for the parties involved.

Abstract

Human resources is one of the important elements in the implementation of a project because of its considerable influence on costs and time. The workload borne by the workforce is closely related to the efficiency and effectiveness of a project. There are many ways that can be done in the efficiency of human resources, among others, by optimizing the number of workers. PT Jaya Teknik Indonesia, as one of the companies engaged in the contractor of Mechanics, Electrical, Electronics and Information Technology. also can not be separated from the problem of this workload, work that doubles with other jobs is one of the causes. By using the Workload Analysis (WLA) method to determine workload. From the results of the WLA analysis, it was found that the Quality control Tower 1 workload was 119%, Supervisor Tower 2 was 135% and Supervisor Tower 3 was 124% besides that, after calculation the optimal number of employees was obtained by adding 1 labor in Tower 1, Tower 2 and Tower 3.

Abstract

Companies engaged in the production of vehicle tires. In the production process, an assessment of the effectiveness of the machine is carried out, especially on the Steel VMI machine, which is carried out by the Industrial Engineering Department. The purpose of this research is to identify the cause of the problem with the low overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value on the Steel VMI machine. In measuring the OEE value on the Steel VMI machine, suggestions are made to increase the low OEE value. Research methods for solving problems by calculating and analyzing the value of availability, value of performance and quality value and determination of six big losses. The results show that the availability value is 84%, the performance value is 71%, the quality value is 100%. Then, the cause of the low OEE value is the Human Error variable. Thus, the results of the measurement of the low OEE value are influenced by the performance value of 71%, while the largest six big loss value in the Equipment Failure losses variable is 1.88%, then the Chokotei / Idling Minor Stoppage variable is 9.1%
